HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE STILL IN PLACE 6/16/2009

The Customer Service is STILL HORRIFIC! I tried to be polite and positive and the receptionist's mentality is so stained that she couldn't receive positivity even when you try to give it to her. Her rudeness, lack of professionalism, and inability to conduct business effectively is just plain sad. My daughter found these reviews after my aweful experience with this company today. Upon reviewing them I am telling all, WE ALL ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME CRAZINESS FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! I am reporting them to the proper agencies and have already refused to do business with them. Worst Customer Service in NYC 5/19/2009

I have a Samsung Refrigerator under warrenty. Aid Audio & TV Service is under contract to repair requests made from Samsung. They told me because another company looked at my refrigerator they will not come out and look at it. The woman on the reception told me she was through with me and I should not ever call them again. Even Samsung had a bad experience with this person after I told them what happened. Samsung will be removing them from the customer service center list. I don´t know how such a company can survive today in NY or America. I have never been so rudly mistreated from some company that are supposed to be professionals. What a disgrace. I wish I would have read the review on this company before I used them. They have the worst customer service I have ever encountered. They took over a month to fix my TV and never returned my calls. The people that answer the phones have no respect for the customer and are very rude. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Cons: no customer service and they take forever more

Treats customers like dirt 4/23/2009

I was told that someone will come to fix my TV between 1 and 4. I had to leave at 4 for my own appointment and someone came at 4:30. When I called the next day, they blamed me for missing the appointment when it was them who gave me the wrong information to begin with. I didn't want to argue with them any more so, I asked them reschedule it to the following week. The second time, I didn't even get a call for the time window. It turns out, it was not even scheduled. When I asked them why it wasn't even scheduled, the customer service representative kept blaming me for missing the first appointment. Since I was getting nowhere with the customer service representative, I asked for the manager. I explained everything to the manager and he was even worse. He started accusing me of lying about being misinformed and my failed attempts to contact them. At that point, I realized there is no point of continuing the conversation. RUN Away From This Place 4/16/2009

They are the most unprofessional people I have dealt with and I do not see how they are still in this business. I have been screamed at, called a liar, treated like I was a piece of excrement. They made an appt for 8am and showed up at 7pm. Then the next time they were actually supposed to come and fix the TV, they refused to show up. My husband spent 25 minutes on the phone begging them to come to fix our tv. After 5 WEEKS, the tv isn't fixed. Just make sure you complain to the warranty providers as much as possible. To start the woman who answers the phone is a moron...They schedule the appointment with you and never call to say what time they are arriving. Then when you call to find out they give you a time and NEVER show up or even have the common courtesy to call to say they would not be able to make it. I would never use this company after my very first experience with them. more

A HORRIBLE PLACE TO DO BUSINESS - RUN AWAY!!!! 12/26/2008

This company needs to be forced out of business!!!! Their professionalism is completely non existant! They contradict themselves....The ""woman"" who usually answers the phone is out of her MIND! My TV was puchased at another retail store and sent to Aid Audio when it malfunctioned under a ""protection plan."" What a miserable plan and service from both places - I NOW know why this ""retail"" store (who's initials are CC) just filed chapter 11 bankruptcy on Nov. 11.\r Aid Audio had my tv for two months after picking it up and said that it would be delivered Dec. 26, 2008. When I called to get a window of time that I should expect them, the ""woman"" said - ""You don't have an appointment to have your tv delivered...."" (after I spoke to a man there last week who told me that it would be). She then proceeded to tell me that the next available delivery date would be after Jan. 5, 2009! UNBELIEVABLE! NEGATIVE 10 STARS - AVOID AT ALL COSTS (unless you like getting RIPPED OFF) 7/12/2008

What started as a Fully Covered WARRANTY repair turned into a MAJOR hassle and inconvenience. Aid Audio replaced BROKEN Part with a USED Part and demanded CASH ONLY (even though the repair was FULLY COVERED). Tried to scam BOTH me and the Manufacturer at the SAME TIME. As of June 18th LG has REMOVED them from their website of approved service centers. Customer Service by an employee named Rick was straight out of a HORROR movie. He must be an owner because any GOOD Business man would NEVER put their business in his hands. Don't Walk, RUN AWAY from Aid Audio!!!!! Waited over 3 week for a repair. First time I called them up. They never showed up. They second time I called them up. The repairman refused to call me and ask for directions because he could not find the building I lived in. They are thre most rude and Inconsiderate company I have ever dealt with. An awful experience! They were condescending and rude in initial conversations, then proceeded to misdiagnose the problem, wasting time and money. The technicians don't seem to know what they are doing, and the customer service is clueless and unhelpful. Did I mention the TV still doesn't work? Rude, slow -- just awful!!! 4/1/2008

This is the worst TV repair place ever. If you want to be without a TV for two months for simple repairs then by all means call them. But who knows what's happening to your TV in those two months. It could come back with additional problems like an earlier reviewer mentioned. So, so mad/frustrated/annoyed with their service. I have to say my experience with this company was very rewarding. This company bent over backwards to accommodate me and even fought with the manufacturer directly, on my behalf, to make sure the situation was taken care of the right way. Because of all their hard work, they were able to get my 52 inch plasma television replaced with a brand new one. I'm a little shocked over the other reviews. The company was very polite, courteous, and professional. The staff kept my up to date with what was going on with the situation and explained that it could take longer than anticipated. They had my new television delivered and reinstalled in a very reasonable time frame. Being in the customer service industry, I can understand how people can be unrealistic in their expectations. All of their hard work and dedication is much appreciated! I recommend this company to anyone who wants the job done the right way without the b.s.!! this company has several locations in flushing ny. DONOT go to any of it for ANYTHING. Check the business bureau, they have multiple complaints on file. Their service and attitudes are horrible. I was humiliated as a customer, called names, and the boss stated, if you don't like it then don't call us. Well, my tv was still in their possession. Everything about what the other reviewers said is true and for real. so save your self some sanity and don't use these people. Unfortunately I only found this firms reputation after I personally had an issue with them. Hopefully it's not to late for you. Find another firm now or you will join this listing of complaints. \r \r My experience with this company has been the horror show that other posters have described. Rude and bad customer service to start and a bad repair where they inflicted further damage on my unit. How do these people stay in business? 11/6/2007

Waited over a week for a 15 minute repair (one part, 16 screws and a circuit board) and the repairman refused to get out of his van because he thought they were towing people in normal parking areas. Now I have to wait yet another week for a part I could have ordered and installed myself if it were not for the warrantee. I offered to pay his parking and for any ticket he might get and they still refused to park and come in and service my TV. I will have lost $1600 in income missing two days of work because one pusillanimous freak could not find a parking space. Absolute Worst!! 9/26/2007

I used them only because Circuit City uses them for their warranty repairs. This is the absolute worst company to deal with, do not EVER use them! They have zero customer service, it's almost like they take joy in being the most obnoxious company to work with. They have no flexibility, are rude, and just horrible people. I absolutely agree with the previous reviews about Aid. They have awful customer service where the operators at the phone are impatient, rude, and hang up the phone so quickly you are left feeling as though you will never get your questions answered- since you never have the opportunity to ask them. Secondly, timely and convenient service is hugely lacking. Aid does not let you make appointments, so you must wait for the phone call (the day of, no earlier) that gives you a span of 3 hours in which they will come. But no shows are a problem, and people at Aid seem to have no idea where their technicians are at any given time. Paperwork also takes longer than their estimated time - in other words, like other people said, they lie about how long things will take.\r \r Very unreliable, very unhelpful staff, and very untimely service that drags on for way too long. I already called PC Richards to suggest that they no longer use them as a warranty service. You all should do the same. Cons: bad service, unhelpful employees more

I can't believe they are still in business 5/22/2007

Had I known they had such a bad reputation, I would have never let my manufacturer choose this place to repair my TV under warranty. Just like the other reviews, forget trying to get your TV fixed anytime soon. Also, their customer service is beyond rude. I've been yelled at and hung up on numerous times. It just amazes me to see how they can operate this way and still be in business. It's been over a month since they finally took my TV away for repair (it took several weeks before just for a tech to come out and take the TV away) and at this point, I'm just hoping to get my TV back in one piece.\r \r Seeing how they treat their customers, I really don't have faith in the quality of their work either even if they do finally fix it. Avoid at all Costs! 5/21/2007

My worst experience with technical repair service. I began talking with them since February '07 and my TV is still not repaired. Multiple times they would call me in the morning explaining to me that a technician would be coming and they never show. STAY AWAY from this company!
