WORST SERVICE IN THE HISTORY OF TIME. This is absolute fact, I’m not exaggerating and using all caps just to sound overdramatic.
Unless you want to get ripped off and be completely disrespected as a costumer: STAY AWAY FROM THESE THUGS AT ALL COST.
I didn’t hire this despicable people voluntarily, I had read the reviews and I’m not insane; but I had no choice because of my dishwasher’s warranty by LG. HUGE MISTAKE to ignore the reviews and not demand the manufacturer use another service provider.
All the details are bellow but long story short, I was insulted, taken advantage of and to cap it all off that mistake will now cost me $100-$120, which is 20% of the dishwasher’s price.
I wont buy anything from LG / PC Richards, for as long as they keep doing business with this crooks.
The details:
Three weeks after first contacted by LG, Aid finally schedules my appointment. LG had repeatedly explained to them what had to be replaced, and so did I again when scheduling the repair. Well, the “technician” shows up (late of course) without the part. Says he hadn’t come to repair anything but: “just to see what the problem was” and, very condescendingly, tells me to schedule another appointment. I call to complain/reschedule but I’m completely ignored. They argue they ran out of the part needed (but that morning said nothing about it) and blame LG for everything/ not take any responsibility.
Two weeks later, they finally schedule my repair. Being late again, I call to see where the “technician” is and the RUDEST woman answers.
She proceeds to insult me for even calling, not let me talk and make fun of my accent, say she doesn’t have any way to get in touch with the “technician” so I just have to wait, refuse to let me talk to a supervisor or anyone else but her, and finally threaten to cancel the repair.
I’m now furious and call LG immediately, meantime the “technician” arrives. Apparently is not the first time this woman does that to a customer, so I ask him to call his boss. The boss apologizes and I start thinking maybe this people are not that bad. HUGE MISTAKE # 2.
While the “technician” repairs my dishwasher he BRAKES THE HANDLE. His name is TODD, do not let this man within 50 feet of your apartment. He is a liar and a cheater that will shamelessly lie to your face with no remorse.
I tell him the handle was not broken before and he says he hadn’t noticed. I see a little plastic piece on the floor and by the time I realize is part of the handle, he was sitting where the piece was and I have no idea what he did with it. But he tells me he will order a new handle and come replace it at no cost to me, so I decide not to confront him about it. He assures me many times over this wont cost me anything.
Two weeks later I call to see why they haven’t schedule the repair. After talking to two very rude women (I guess that is required to answer phones in that “company”), everyone tells me that I HAVE TO PAY for the handle.
I ask to talk to Rick, the boss I had talked to before, but he sticks to the “you have to pay for it” script. It will cost me $100-$120, which I can’t afford.
I’m sure this is how these scammers make their money, by reaping off costumers breaking something the warranty wont cover. Its like taking your car to the mechanic, they realize you are a girl and know nothing about cars, so they tell you the brakes are out, and while they fix the brakes they bust the transmission and overcharge you to repair it.
Two months after my saga with Aid “Service” started, I have a broken dishwasher, feel totally violated as a costumer, and have no recourse against these thieves.
So I have filed a complain with LG, will post this on every site I can find, and file another complain with the Better Business Bureau and the NY State Consumer Protection Agency.
STAY AWAY FROM THESE THUGS OR YOU WILL PAY FOR IT.
