Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Drain Services

So I had a major blockage in my sewer pipes - which I made worse by plunging quite a bit. All of a sudden I had a waterfall of waste water in my kitchen. I called my regular plumber who told me it would be two days before someone could show up. So I googled Plumbers and found Roto-Rooter - called them and they had someone out at the house in less than one hour!! Talk about quick! Well, it turned out that our problem was anything but quick to fix - but Pam was absolutely fantastic about it! At some point there were three people working on our pipes. To make things worse I had to fly out for a business trip that evening and my wife had to fly out the next morning. The Roto-Rooter folks stayed until they found the problem and it was fixed - and even helped with the cleanup. Pam stayed at our house until about 10pm and made sure that my wife felt comfortable!!! Talk about putting the customer first. I will recommend Roto-Rooter wholeheartedly to anyone needing a plumber!!! more

They sent a camera through the lines to make sure everything looked ok. In doing so they discovered that the original sewer line pipes were connected in a "T" angle instead of a sweep. While this did not cause the original problem it cetainly could be a potential problem. We got a quote, no sales pressure. We waited several months to have the work done since it was not a immediate issue. John the Plumber came out and was so helpful and fixed the pipes so we can have piece of mind. He also exposed the clean out pipe next to our house that got buried over the years. He was kind, compassionate and so helpful. I could not have asked for a better person to help me out. I would recommend Roto Rooter Plumber services anytime, and especially John. more

He told us when a technician could be sent to our house. Unfortunately for us, they were very busy (good for them) and could not get to us until Sunday morning. On Sunday, the dispatcher called us to tell us when to expect a technician. The technician, William, called twice to let us know where he was in his work and when to expect him. When he arrived, William examined the situation and carefully described our options. He made certain that we had the information we needed to make an informed choice on how to proceed. He took care of all the parts that we needed for the repair and he completed the repair very professionally. He kept the repair within a few dollars of the estimate. We were very satisfied with William and the work that he did. If we ever need pluming repairs in the future, we will call William directly. more

I called my regular Durham plumber and with a back up clog of the main drain line he recommended this Roto Rooter operating in the Raleigh Durham Chapel Hill area. The first try was unsuccessful so he changed from a double blade to a single which finally removed the obstruction. Most impressive was he then re-attached the double blade and ran the line again. As part of the service another representative later came out and ran a camera snake through the drain to verify the condition of the pipes. There was some technical problems with the equipment, but ultimately while not recording we were able to verify that the pipe and tap were in fine condition. more

First off it was a Sunday evening when my hot water heater went. I called Roto Rooter in Raleigh and they were at my house within the hour. William came to my house and with all the checking said I needed a new water heater which I figured I did. He was great explained everything to me and even tols me the cheapest way he could fix this for me. William went to Lowes and got the water heater saving me some money. He spent a long time putting it in being the water heater was on the second floor. He did such a great job not getting any marks on my walls or dirtying up my carpets. What a great worker. Roto Rooter in Raleigh I will definately call on you again when I need something else. I recommend them to everyone they will not let you down. Great Work!!!!!!! more

The lady I talked to was quite cordial, but would Not give me an Hourly Labor Rate or Rough estimate of what it would cost to replace two toilets, with toilets that I had purchased, and replace a faulty water line tap to our frig.\r \r Their plumber guy arrived and quite promptly, gave us an "estimate" of $700 for about two hours of work!!!\r \r We just as quickly... dispatched them from our property!\r \r $700 of Hard-Earned Money to Do 2, maybe 2-1/1 hours of work! My father-in-Law came over and replaced one of the toilets in 45 minutes... and he's an Amateur!\r \r Really Tired of Getting Ripped Off !!!! more

Can you say happy? I accidently dropped a very expensive bracelet down the toilet. I was distraught and didn't know what to do. I took the toilet apart and there was no bracelet. The next morning I called my new best friends at roto rooter. They were at my door in less than 24 hours. I shared with the 2 techs what had happened and they assured me they would do all that was possible to retrieve my bracelet. They told me to relax and that "today is gonna be a good day". They were correct, within minutes the camera had located my bracelet. Shear amazement and excitement. The techs honestly were just as excited as I was...what a great feeling!!!!!!Great customer service from the start. I was also impressed that they returned my bathroom back to normal and left no mess behind. Roto rooter, whatever plumbing issues I have going forward, know that you will be contacted. Oh, they played with the doggie too!!!!!! more

The plumber arrived promptly that morning and completed a comprehensive assessment of the situation. He took the time to explain to me what had happened. He also discovered another bad shortcut that the builders had taken with our shutoff valves. This explained why that particular valved had failed when I was trying to stop the leak. more

When I discussed my option, he stated that if I wanted to call around or look at picking up a water heater on my own from the Raleigh area he could adjust the quote. It was refreshing to hire a repair person that is honest and doesn't apply pressure in order to close the deal for his company. John, our Roto plumber, located and installed our new water heater, corrected the plumbing error left by our Raleigh area builder, and then explained all the workings of the new system. After paying my bill, John took the time to give me some additional types for maintain my plumbing fixtures. This was the best service call I have ever had in my 14 years as a homeowner. more

The receptionist had a real attitude even though I tried to be nice and explain this was not an emergency situation. She said there was no way she could give me a date or time as they were slammed. So I called Roto-Rooter instead. The receptionist very cheerfully ask how could she provide excellenct service and proceeded to say she could have someone at my home within the hour that would provide a free estimate. John arrived and provided a written estimate with three options, excellent service at a very fair price and gave tons of tips along the way. Very much above and beyond. Super pleased. more
