Review content:
Our hot water heater ruptured last night and we suffered through some cold showers. I called Roto-Rooter Plumbers at 10:30 last night and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. The plumber arrived promptly that morning and completed a comprehensive assessment of the situation. He took the time to explain to me what had happened. He also discovered another bad shortcut that the builders had taken with our shutoff valves. This explained why that particular valved had failed when I was trying to stop the leak.
Our technician walked me through the quote. When I discussed my option, he stated that if I wanted to call around or look at picking up a water heater on my own from the Raleigh area he could adjust the quote. It was refreshing to hire a repair person that is honest and doesn't apply pressure in order to close the deal for his company.
John, our Roto plumber, located and installed our new water heater, corrected the plumbing error left by our Raleigh area builder, and then explained all the workings of the new system. After paying my bill, John took the time to give me some additional types for maintain my plumbing fixtures. This was the best service call I have ever had in my 14 years as a homeowner.
