I would have given a negative star, if possible, because my experience didn't rate even 1 star. My "service" was more like an interrogation or a lecture [one I didn't ask for or want to get] than a service. The guy spent over 30 minutes interrogating me about why I got a new sink, why didn't I get a different faucet, why didn't I want a garbage disposal. He had to call in to ask what to do because my old sprayer wasn't long enough to go through the new thicker countertop. [He spent the first 5 minutes or so of his call to the office chitchatting with the person who answered the phone.] Peppered in with the other questions, he kept asking me to "guess" how much the service would be. After I "guessed," he finally told me that it would be $646 dollars! To put in new drain pipes and attach a faucet! When I said, "no thank you," he started trying to justify the price by giving a LONG spiel about the company's insurance costs, their cost for faucets, supply lines, drains, etc., --all of which I already had. It was another 10 minutes before I could get him to leave. Never. Everyone I have told about my bad experience said that the guy was trying to take advantage of a singe woman who he thought would be intimidated into paying an outrageous price because she didn't know what else to do. more

My Pipe Wrench experience was excellent. From the cheerful receptionist to the master plumber John who did a great job the company presentation was the best. However, it comes at a steep price. The cost for 2.5 hours of labor and $70 in parts was over $600. I would only enjoy such excellent service again if I was desperate and willing to pay the price. more

The plumber from Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling came out for a 6 month inspection and messed up my water heater. I was dealing with that for 2 days. I'd told him not to mess with the water heater when he came out and he was rude with me. He left the water running and left a mess. They ended up fixing it but I would not use them again. more

I have to say that they folks over at Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling were really great to deal with. They were quick to respond to my call and they had someone out to my home so fast which I really appreciated. The guy was really great and took care of my issue in no time at all. This is the third time that I have used the services of the guys over at Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling and I keep going back because they are great. The last time that I called them I had a sewer line break and they were fantastic in taking care of that. This most recent time I called because I was having a little bit of a pressure issue and so I called these guys and they had it fixed in about five minutes. Their prices are great and they do fantastic work, I just cannot say enough good things about them. more

I estimate the full retail price of the 2 gallon thermal expansion tank to be about $30. The water pressure regulator was maybe $150 and a water pressure gauge about $20. If my estimates are anywhere close to correct, I paid about $570 for 1.5 hours of labor. The manufacturers specs require the thermal expansion tank to be installed vertically. It was installed horizontally. No support was installed to support the tank. The technician was obviously skilled and gave me an accurate estimate for the work to be performed. But he should have taken the time to install the thermal expansion according to the manufacturer's instructions. more

The technician arrived on time and did a good job explaining the cause of the leak. I was surprised by the high price quoted. I decided to have the repair done anyways. I was further surprised by the cost, given the short amount of time it took to complete the repair and the small number of parts used. more

We called Pipe Wrench in the morning and within an hour the service tech was at our house. We needed a new faucet installed on the side of our house. The Master Plumber, John Baker, did a terrific job. He was very friendly and professional. He looked over the situation and went right to work. We found the price to be a bit high but we were totally satisfied with the work that was done. more

I was really happy with the guys over at Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling because they did a really great job in fixing a problem I was having. I really appreciated how timely these guys were throughout the whole process. They were quick to get out to my home, and quick to assess the problem, and they were quick to resolve the problem. Honestly I have used plenty of plumbing services in my day, but these guys were better than any plumbing service that I have used in the past. After receieving a quote, from another company, of $8,000 to $10,000 to check my main water line someone suggested I call Pipe Wrench. Pipe Wrench fixed my problem and charged $473. Daniel, my service technician, showed me everything: how it works, why it was not working & the solution. I always appreciate it when a service person shows respect by explaining the issue. I am so pleased to have hired Pipe Wrench. I will be doing business with Pipe Wrench with pleasure. more

Full disclosure: I have not used a plumbing service before, so I can't compare on pricing. But, I do know about courteous and professional customer service. From my initial call to the office, to the master plumber (John B) who provided my service, I was extremely satisfied. Very pleasant woman scheduled my appointment and arranged to work around my schedule and still provide same-day service. Following a phone call to alert me to his arrival, John arrived within minutes of the beginning of the time frame I had been given. He was able to assess and diagnosis my problem within minutes. He thoroughly explained each step of his process, and went to work. It may have taken longer than he had anticipated, but never complained about working late and adhered to his original estimate. He went above and beyond my expectations. I was not in a pleasant predicament, but their services saved the day. As promised, they "made me smile". more

I recently had the guys over at Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling help me out with some issues I was having. They were quick to respond which was good and the guys they sent out were really great. They got right to work and got the work done a lot faster than I would have expected. After I left I did notice that there was some work that was unfinished, but I called them up and they came right back out. They definitely stand behind their work and if you have an issue they will resolve it quickly and with no hassle. I will definitely use them again should the need arise! more
