I called and made an appointment a few weeks in advance. Based on my huge KUB bill, I obviously had a water leak but I have a VRBO rental on the property and didn't want to disturb my guests, and Oct 31st was the only day there would not be a guest staying in my rental so I made the appointment for that day. I took a half day off from work and used 4 of my vacation hours. When the person from Pipe Wrench arrived he was in a small car instead of a work truck. The first thing I said was "aren't you here to work?" He said he was there to do an estimate. Seriously? It took him about 20 minutes to find a hole in a pipe under my laundry room in the crawl space which was spraying a LOT of water out onto the ground. I told him I was not happy that he wasn't there to fix anything since I had scheduled this visit so far in advance, so he called the office and tried to get a plumber out to fix it that day but there wasn't anyone available. So I had to take the next day, Nov 1st off so a plumber could come and fix what SHOULD HAVE been fixed on Oct 31st. That was another 8 hours of my vacation time I had to use. The guy who came and fixed it was courteous and professional, but I'm still annoyed about their "new policy" of not sending a plumber out and making everything be two visits. I had to use 12 hours of vacation time all together for this. Not okay with me at all. I told the plumber who came the second day that I thought the policy of sending someone out to give an estimate instead of sending someone to fix the problem was ridiculous. He was sympathetic but it wasn't his fault and nothing he could do about it. Just know when you call Pipe Wrench you are not going to get a plumber to come out, you are going to get someone to come out and assess the situation, THEN you have to schedule an appointment to actually get the problem fixed. more

The prices are too high, but the service was OK. They did some work on one of my walls and charged me about $420, which seems like too much for the amount of work they did. So, I think the price was a bit much, but still I give them a 5. more

The over all experience was good, Chris was very knowable, on time and sold me on more services. more

A new line was installed from our meter to the house. Directional drilling had its starts and stops several times because of the rocky soil. With all the problems, it took three days to complete the instillation from the first call. Their first objective was to get us temporary water. That took some doing. Brad and Tony had to go to "plan B" or maybe it was "plan C" for the temp line. These two guys worked well into the night to get us temporary water the second day. Within 20 feet of being complete with the drilling, the rig lost it's sonar transmitter. The remaining 20 ft was drilled blindly and they came to within a foot of where they should be. These two are very skillful and take pride in what they are doing. more

all staff vey friendly and worked well around my schedule. Needed staff to come back for minor fix which was handled as soon as possible. Would recommend to others. Price estimate was higher but worked this out with office staff to meet my satisfaction. more

The guys that came to our house from Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, Inc., did a good job. The only problem I had was that the guy that was working on the water heater had offered us to purchase like three other services that he said we should get. I explained to him that we were on a fixed income and did not want to purchase them. After I told him that, he got angry and told us our bill would be sent to us on the computer and he stormed off. The other guy, the one doing the HVAC work, came in and asked if he offered the yearly maintenance plan to us. I told him no, and he was surprised. We signed up for the plan with the HVAC guy. If I could scale them separately, I would give the HVAC guy 5 stars, and the water heater guy 3 stars, not because he didn't do a good job, but his attitude was bad. more

The repair started slow. First I was told that the repair person would have everything on his truck- which he didn't. That was on a Saturday. The repair person told me he would talk to his supervisor and get me an estimate on Monday. I didn't get that estimate on Monday. I called on Tuesday, but still didn't get the estimate by Wednesday. Finally on Wednesday when I called- I got the estimate. It was good that the repair person could come out right away (although I had someone at the house Monday and Tuesday and I had to take off on Wednesday). However, once the repair was started, the tech was driven to get the repair done- even when it was challenging and another tech was called in to assist. When all was said and done- two plumbers and four hours later- I had water in my kitchen (this started as a stopped up sink and escalated). It was just inconvenient to wait the additional two days or the rating would probably be 5 starts. more

I like that Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling came when they say they would come and explained everything to me about why he had to replace the part he did, and I thought that was good. He replaced some kind of little thermostat on my air conditioner--the thing that makes the fan work right. I've used Pipe Wrench several times for plumbing and I like that they show up when they say they will. If what they fix doesn't hold, they come back and fix it for free--kind of like a warranty on their work. I like that. more

From the first interaction on the phone to the service at my door, Pipe Wrench Plumbing did an excellent job and provided great service! While I was a little sticker shocked at the price, they charge by the job and not by the hour and offer a 5 year warranty on their work so I was very pleased by the job completed, the amount of time it took, and the great customer service provided by Daniel! They even took pictures of the job and emailed them to me. more

They wanted to charge me over $500 just to remove the toilet put a camera snake down there to see what the problem was and put the toilet back on. That on visit would have cost me almost half what I make a month and that's after the tech gave us some discounts. Plus I had to pay the service fee and shortly after he left I noticed that our toilet is leaking in the basement wasn't happening before he showed up he flushed the toilet like 20 time in the 15 min he was there now I need to replace the wax seal underneath. Will not recommend them to anyone. And will not call them again. they are 2-3 times more expensive than any of the other companies in the area. more
