While I see that most folks on here have had a great experience with Pipe Wrench Plumbing my experience was less than satisfactory. Here's my story. On Thursday September 22, 2016 I called Pipe Wrench because we needed a new water heater. There was a sticker on the old heater with there number and a coupon for $25. Andrew H came out and provided a quote for both a standard and tankless system. I went ahead and chose the tankless system as we were literally leaking water in our basement from the old tank. Brad T and Tony K came out and took out the old tank and installed the new tank but left a mess of PVC Pipe cuttings, which I had to clean up. Also when drilling the holes through the side of my house they drilled holes which were three times the size of the actual pipes that were being ported for overflow. They used the majority of a tube of silicon to seal the hole around the pipes. Within 24 hours of installation (Friday) my wife showed me a coupon for $1995 for a tankless water heater. I called the office and spoke to Michelle (michelle@pipewrenchplumbing.com) and told her about the cleanup issues, no $25 credit, a warranty discrepancy and of course much lower advertised price. She told me to send her an email explaining the issues which I did on Saturday 9/24. Michelle never got back to me but my sales rep called me back and promised the $25 coupon but told me that the much lower advertised price was not for my model but he would not elaborate on which model it was. There was no mention of the mess that was left by the install guys. While I appreciated the gesture I felt that I was being blown off so I called back and got Michelle and she said my issues were out of her hands and that I needed to talk to Andrew Whartley (andrewhartley@pipewrenchplumbing.com) which I did and I sent him a copy of the email that was sent to Michelle. He told me that he would handle things and after a week or so I gave up on Andrew and called back in and asked for the owners. I was told they were Paul (paul@pipewrenchplumbing.com) and Whitney (whitney@pipewrenchplumbing.com). I sent them an email on October 12th which there has never been a response. To date none of my issues have been addressed. I guess that 100% Satisfaction Guarantee is for customers that don't ask any questions or complain. We will never use this company again nor will we recommend them to anyone we know. As a matter of fact we go out of our way to tell anyone that will listen not to use Pipe Wrench. While I don't expect a response to my review nor will I change my mind about my review I will update this review if they decide make things right. more

I have used the services of the people over at Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling a couple of times now and they are pretty fantastic. The guys who work here are very knowledgeable and definitely know what they are doing. I like that when I call these guys I do not have to worry about the job getting done right. There must have been a miscommunication between myself, the salesperson, and the installer of the new HVAC system. Most of the one piece of flex duct on the return was damaged by critters who got under the house. I was not doing this project unless the full length was replaced. I made that very clear to the salesperson. While the installed did a top notch job, he was never directed to replace all the bad duct and only replaced one section. The rest was only patched. I was told I would have an added expense within the next year or two to finish replacing the bad section. If I had known in advance the entire section would not be replaced, I would not have installed the system at all. more

Employee was friendly but repeated himself a lot... Also he had to call his boss about 4 times because he didn't know what to do. He even asked us a one point where a certain pipe under our house was like we should know... Again, he was friendly enough but he seemed a little incompetent. more

Pipe Wrench's representatives were extremely professional, polite and very knowledgeable on the job they had to do. Brad and Tony treated my front yard with the same respect as I would have. From arrival to completion I was with your technicians. All my questions were answered promptly and with explanations as the job progressed. The job from start to finish exceeded my expectations and Brad advised me to test the new PRV setting and if I was not satisfied he would return and re-adjust it. I phoned Pipe Wrench the next day for Brad to come back and re-adjust my pressure. I was totally surprised when Brad and Tony arrived within 20 minutes of my calling. After a brief explanation Brad reset the PRV and my wife and I could not be HAPPIER... more

Had a water leak with a valve in the water heater that was spraying hot water in the crawl space under the house. Valve replaced and water leak stopped. Excellent response and good service but pricey. more

All work completed was excellent will use again in the future, may have been higher priced than some others I have used in the past but service and quality was subpar with them would not recommend any of those plumbing company's to anyone, but would Pipe Wrench Plumbing. more

I've used Pipe Wrench Plumbing, Heating & Cooling for at least a couple of years. I bought the two year package for twice per year cleaning, and I'm still going to use them, I renewed the two year package. But this time around, for some reason (I don't believe they've done this before) they sent two technicians to do the full cleaning, one for plumbing and one for the heating system. I wasn't told that there would be two, which messed up the plans I had made for the day since I wasn't expecting another technician to come by later. I'd had an appointment scheduled for the afternoon and then got a call in the morning saying that a technician was available then if I wanted them to come earlier, so I said ok, and they said it wouldn't take longer than 30 minutes. The plumber came over and when it looked like he was getting ready to leave I asked if he was going to look at the heat pump, and he said basically that "that's the other guy, he'll be here later". They didn't tell me another technician would be coming, I had to leave. The technicians themselves were fine, very polite and helpful, and they call 30 minutes before they arrive. I was just very unhappy with the different scheduling that happened for this cleaning appointment, I ended up having to cancel my other plans. However, like I said, I'll still be using them because I've been happy with them in the past. more
