We used the Coeur d'Alene/Hayden branch and are extremely satisfied. Not only did Travis (our technician) fix our problem he spent time answering our questions and advising us on our unit. He was very professional, on time, and seemed to charge a reasonable amount. I will definitely keep their number handy for future needs. more

Excellent Weekend Service 7/14/2014

I could not have been happier with the response time and service that I received from R&R on a Sunday afternoon in 100 degree heat. I called at 2:00 and had my air conditioner back up and running by 4:30. Eric, the specialist that came out, was professional and courteous. Thank you R&R for proving that great customer service still exists. more

Above Stellar! 7/11/2014

Day 3 of recent (July 2014) heat wave our central air (in a 100 yr old south hill home)just stopped working. 80+ degrees in the house...Cleaning the filters did little to help. After a frustrating 2 days of reading manuals and fiddling with the unit, I broke down and called After-hours. (seeing the vacation budget going down the drain) Not only did the service tech call me Immediately, but he talked TO me. After assessing the situation as best he could over the phone, we discovered ice build-up. He patiently told me what to do and saved the day (week, 2 weeks, month, years!!....) thus preventing me from an after-hours service call or taking a day off from work. R&R Will Definately will be my go-to place for regular maintanance as well as emergencies. Reminded me of the days of Old Fashioned service most places are lacking :) more

The technicians that provided service for my air conditioner were beyond kind, professional and personable. They were extremely responsive and efficient with my two calls for each of my heating and cooling units, one of which wasn't even their product yet they responded and assisted me with the solution. Never showed up, lost the reschedule. Would not recommend if you actually need service. Above and beyond!!!! 3/12/2014

OMG! Thank you to Todd Lundin at R & R! My husband called Avista for our pilot going out on the Hot water heater.They capped off our gas and said that AND our furnace needed to be moved. Just like that. Todd not only called Avista for us, but was more educated than them regarding codes and what actually needed to be done. He saved us probably 5-8K today. Thank you so much!!!! You are the company that installed it all when the home was built, and knew we could trust you, but never did I except this level of service (in the true meaning of the word). more

Upon the sale of my home I was required to do a service of the furnace. I called another company first they said my furnace must be replaced that it could catch fire. Then I called R & R. R & R's service blew me away 2/6/2014

Our Furnace died unexpectedly (note to readers: CHANGE YOUR FILTERS MORE THAN ONCE PER YEAR!!!), and we were left without heat. R & R sent someone out and quickly diagnosed our issues. That's where Randy stepped in. He noticed that updated Codes might cause us some problems down the road, and he went WAY above and beyond. Randy worked around my schedule, often talking to me at 8:00 PM, working out a great solution that satisfied Code, and saved us from a lot of hassel when we eventuall sell our home. He also got us a great new furnace. I couldn't recommend R&R more. more

Good work. Lousy service 12/17/2013

I've had R&R out to modify my system and do some maintenance and they are knowledgeable and do good work. That said, I just called because my furnace wasn't working. I was told that they couldn't get someone out here for 4 days. I pointed out that it was the winter and I had no heat. Well, I could call after 5 and the after hours people would come out to figure things out. Somehow, it seems to me that when you have a customer who is without heat in the winter, you schedule that customer for service even if that means you give your after hours technician a scheduled job for when they get into work. RESPONSE FROM R&R Heating & Air Conditioning: Jeff, thank you for your comments and for choosing R&R. You're very important to us and your feedback is much appreciated. We apologize for not being able to schedule a technician sooner than we could at the time you called. The demand this season has been overwhelming and we're doing everything we can to take care of as many people as possible. This year we've bulked up our staff considerably, adding several experienced, certified techs who meet our very high standards for expertise. Even with the added capacity, it's not uncommon during peak periods for our techs to work 10-12 hour days and through the weekends trying to get to everyone who needs us. Of course, this comes as little consolation to you when your heating system is down, temperatures are dropping fast, and you're told it will be 4 days. No-heat calls such as yours always take priority over preventive maintenance or non-emergency issues, and we schedule them on a first-come, first served basis. Unfortunately, the sheer volume of calls we've been getting can sometimes prevent us from being able to schedule folks as soon as we'd like. Now, once we have you on the schedule, we can often move you up to get to you sooner than promised as cancellations come in. Additionally, priority scheduling is included as a benefit for customers in our Comfort Club we'd be happy to tell you more about that you're interested. Again, we're very sorry we couldnt schedule a technician to service your system sooner. Trust us when we say we wish we could have, and hope you understand. We hope you continue to think of R&R for your heating & cooling needs, and we look forward to being there for you next time you need us. more

Excellent Experience!!! 12/14/2013

Face it...nobody enjoys replacing their furnace, even more so in cold weather, right before Thanksgiving, but the experience was surprisingly pleasant. From the first service technician, to the gentleman that gave us a quote (Bill Todd), to the installation people, I felt confident that we'd end up with a fine furnace. Everyone was prompt, professional, and a credit to the company. In short, they did exactly what they said would do! I wouldn't hesitate to use R and R's service again, or recommend them to family and friends. more

Our experience with R&R Heating & Air Conditioning started some years back, when we first moved in here. It was very hot, and we had company over. I called R&R, spoke to the gentleman, and told him I needed an air conditioner. I told him where I lived, and he said he would be out there in just a couple days. Bang! Just like that, he cooled the house down. That's the way it's always been with them. If we call for a service or check, they are right there. It doesn't take any time at all for them to come help. They do very good work. more
