It was Christmas morning and I was up first. It sounded like it was raining inside but I quickly saw that the rain was inside all across the ceiling. I was hosting family and more were coming to Christmas dinner. I called our usual plumbing company and they wanted no part of this. The cleanup was already looking overwhelming and the problem was yet to be addressed. So their competitor suggested John Moore and sure enough they said they'ld come out. They stopped the leak and came back today with a new toilet. Mike is our new best friend. He was efficient and a really nice guy. I asked if I could specifically ask for him in the future. YES!!!! more

We had a clogged drain in our kitchen sink, and called John Moore Plumbing Services. The person who scheduled our appointment was very friendly and courteous and gave us the first available appointment, the day and time frame that the technician would arrive. The technician who came out to our home was very friendly and courteous also, and we told him that the kitchen sink was clogged, and showed him exactly what was going on. He asked a few more questions and then fully diagnosed the problem. He then gave us a written estimate with three different options on which method we would like to repair the problem and the costs of each: Good Solution; Better Solution; and Best Solution. I chose to go with the Better solution because of the holidays and our budget, and also asked his recommendation for this situation. The technician did a very thorough job, and cleaned out three clogs in the pipe going in 25 feet. He also added the solution and explained how to use it to help keep the pipe free of clogs. He fully and thoroughly tested it afterwards to ensure that there were no more clogs and that the water was draining quickly. I will use John Moore in the future for any service that I need in my home and will recommend John Moore Service to my friends for any problems that they may have in their home. He also told us that John Moore was in the process of coming up with a maintenance program to offer customers, in which they would check drains and so forth periodically to ensure that customers would not have anything to worry about. I had previously used John Moore Services to replace my A/C unit several years ago. Well my central heat would not work on Christmas eve. I called that morning and a service man arrived by 10: 30 that morning, an hour earlier than they were expected. They had my heater up and running by 11:15 AM. I had been so worried that it was going to be expensive, but, the cost was so low, I was overjoyed and ended up having a great and warm Christmas. I had never used John Moore Services before, but dealt with them at my daughter's home when they replaced a hot water heater and was thoroughly impressed. Had a problem with my kitchen sink, so I called them and was treated very professionally over the phone in setting up an appointment. Chris was wonderful. I had a broken faucet pipe. There was an issue with replacing parts and it took him a couple of days to fix it. He was persistent. Good to see customer service is alive and well. more

Worst experience!!! Do not use John Moore Services. I called John Moore to fix our furnace which was not working. They came out and did fix the furnace, but recommend that we have our duct work cleaned due to dust buildup which they felt was part of the problem. I felt it was an effort to up sale us, but agreed to have it done. They were not able to do it the same day. An appointment was scheduled a week later. John Moore was suppose to be out between 11-2. I called twice to try to get an ETA, but no one was able to help me. They tried to contact the service technician numerous times, but he never returned any of the phone calls. He was suppose to contact me 30 minutes prior to arrival. Finally, at 2:10 I was told he was in route. At 4:00, I called back because he had never showed up. I canceled the appointment and requested a refund since the appointment was prepaid. I am still awaiting the credit to show up on my credit card. The customer service rep placed me on hold at least 10 minutes. He never asked why I was canceling the appointment. He had an ""I don't care"" attitude. I wasted an entire day waiting on the service technician! I will never use John Moore again and will not recommend them to anyone! more

Very courteous from the initial call into the receptionist to set the appointment thru the completion of the service call. The appointment was set for a Sunday from 2-6 - I received a call from technician- David and he was able to come 2hrs early!\r David was very courteous and demonstrated patience with the 93 year old client as he(client) questioned reasons for the issues and explained (David)the options available. When I called John Moore, they were very polite and professional over the phone, answered all of my questions, and were able to schedule someone to come out within hours! The technician was very honorable and courteous and found the problem immediately. He was able to fix it on the spot! Very pleased with the plumbing department of John Moore. more

I had a completely perfect experience with John Moore Services. They sent an exceptional guy out to do plumbing repairs for me. I had several things done: Replaced kitchen faucet, replaced toilet and repaired bathtub fixture. The technician took care of everything like a pro! Last Friday afternoon, we had a major leak in our sink at the office. Water was spewing everywhere and dangerously close to our servers. We called two other plumbers, left messages, and never even got a call back. Then a friend of mine referred me to John Moore Services, and boy I'm sure glad that she did! They responded with a call back within 20 minutes, and were at my office just 30 minutes after that. These guys are quick, fast and proffessional. I got a clogged drain fixed for less than the cost of renting a drain cleaner/snake from home depot. They came out the same day I called and arrived earlier than appointment time. In and out within an hour. Kudos to Stewart, he was very informative and knowledgeable. Definitely reccommend. more

In regards to my experience with John Moore Services, they fixed the problem at hand and then noted a larger issue that was even more dangerous, which they fixed on-site as well. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and put great care and quality into our issue.
