They had the plumbing fixed within a few hours and we are all happy with the way the techs handled my parents. They even recommended that they call their kids for a second opinion. I bought an old place with old everything. I had several people out to look at things but nobody could take care of it all. Then I saw an ad for John Moore Services. I made an appointment. They sent out an ac tech, plumber and electrical. They were freakin awesome. We are taking baby steps. They did what absolutely had to be done for my safety and I will have them back to do other things. I found my go to for home service. Thanks guys. more

I had had a gas leak and needed a plumber come and reconnect a gas line and look into replacing an under floor gas line to my cook top. John Moore Services tech came to the house and inspected the situation, including a full walk around the outside of the house, and advised me of my options for repair. They reconnected a fireplace gas line and did a system pressure check to insure there were no gas leaks in the plumbing. They were courteous and very helpful and explained what they were looking for and doing. They took care when coming in from the outside to cover their shoes and left no mess behind their work. I am very pleased with their service and will certainly call John Moore Services whenever in need of plumbing work in the future. more

Hometown Hero. I love local businesses that truly care about the work they do and the people they work with. These guys are all of that! My wife and I were expecting our first child a few weeks back and my wife wanted a dimmer in the baby room. I successfully bought one and installed it... It didn't work... nor did other rooms in the house after my handy work. I spent hours on it (I know I'm an idiot, I don't need any reminders). Long story short, the tech from John Moore Services went over and above to fit it. The technician was great about taking off his shoes (first time parents, you know why) and was very sweet to my wife. Good thing for them, our kiddo came a few weeks early! Last Friday afternoon, we had a major leak in our sink at the office after a tropical rain pour. Water was spewing everywhere and dangerously close to our servers. We called two other plumbers, left messages, and never even got a call back. Then a friend of mine referred me to John Moore Services, and boy I'm sure glad that she did! They responded with a call back within 20 minutes, and were at my office just 30 minutes after that. Friendly, hones, reasonable and dependable - they have all of the qualities that you could possibly hope for in a plumber. more

I called John Moore Services because of a review I saw on Yelp. We had an inexperienced HVAC tech whom also was a relative work on our units only to have made the situation worse and gave up leaving us with a lot of issues with our two units. Our tech was AMAZING! Our issues weren't easy to diagnose. He was able to diagnose ALL of the problems, explained in detail what was wrong and even shared in our humor of letting a family member work on our AC. He came out on Saturday but had to order the part so he said he would be back on Monday. Not having an appointment set up for Monday we felt like we were priority on his list because he showed up at 8am. I can't speak for any other tech at John Moore Services- but Shawn is a true asset to this company. His mannerism and honesty will get my business and referrals in the future! more

I had a fire in my AC handler. the tech replaced the wiring and installed a new breaker box for the handler. He was prompt, efficient and very pleasant. He looked at it, knew exactly what had happened, told me what it would cost, performed the work and the world is beautiful again. Thanks again John Moore Services. more

It's true, these guys are real pros. I was renovating my kitchen in my condo, I needed to rewire and install a circuit breaker box. I received an estimate from these guys first but everybody said I need to get at least three estimates. I wish I never wasted my time with other unreliable contractors and just handed the job to them immediately. They came on time and finished on schedule. He even came back on the second day and redid work which he thought could be better. Everything came out great. Thanks John Moore Services. more

John Moore A/C Services - RECOMMEND! 7/14/2014

Awesome customer service! Promptly returned phone calls, did additional research based on my son's medical condition and adhered to all our guidelines while the installers were here. Quick install, kept things immaculate during the install, thoroughly explained things, receptive to questions, and all around easy to work with. Workers showed up on time (they were actually even early which was a breath I fresh air). Prices VERY fair. I strongly recommend John and his crew! more

I would add a plus to the 5 stars! I called at 6:00 on a Friday night for an air conditioning problem. John answered the phone and gave me an appointment for the next day. This was all during a Spring heat wave. He arrived promptly at 9 am. John was able to find the problem and quickly fix it. \r We also asked John to install a NEST ( a new state of the art thermostat). He quickly became familiar with this process and everything works great! We would highly recommend John !!! more

When my friend Breanna had her A/C worked on, this is who she called. As she does not have internet at the moment, she asked me to relay what great service she received. The Technicians were polite, seemed very knowledgeable, and acted extremely professional.Cost was $100 labor over the cost of the refrigerant needed for the recharge, which I feel is very reasonable for his time, knowledge and ability. So all in all we were very pleased. Thanks again and keep up the good work! more

Thank god these guys are in the neighborhood! I love my small business, but we have the misfortune of being located in a very, very old Landmark building with an antiquated plumbing, mechanical and electrical system. On more than one occasion, I've needed plumbing work on the fly to keep the place from flooding and John Moore Services has always been there on (literally) a minute's notice to save the day...and my floors, basement, etc. John is great to work with and always answers the phone and gets you an immediate response. I've also had them do some non-emergency work and it's always done clean and quick. If you need/want quality work done, I Highly recommend. more

John Moore is a rip off, they wanted to charge me $1295 for a drain line to my a/c unit. Guys were very rude and communication in the company were unreal. When I called seven times once I received the estimate the technician would not and still has not returned my call. I took off work to meet them and they were very late, then said another tech would have to come by later. He did show up but didn't have a ladder as I had stressed in all my calls, he said another tech would be by in one hour with a ladder but he didn't show up until four hours later as I was on my way to a meeting. Do not waste your time or money with company. more

Totally professional and forthcoming from start to finish. Booked a maintenance visit for my condo AC unit as it hasn't been cleaned in years. It's a fairly new unit, and the tech took care of the job in under an hour. He was upfront about each step and even took the time to explain stuff to me about the unit, including tips for making it run smoothly. I paid what I had been quoted on the phone, no added fees or extra BS. I felt like this was a really honest operation. Will definitely use them again and recommend to others. more
