They did well. 9/25/2012

Joe was pretty good. He fixed the problem, and that's what counts. The only thing was we paid them money for the service call, and that was supposed to be subtracted from the other main bill, but I don't think it was because I paid two checks. But it's alright. I am willing to forget that. They did a good job compared to another plumber who came to work on our shower stall handle. Joe was very, very good and very personable. I've got no problems with Joe. They did well. He came out on a Saturday to see what he was getting into, and I said they can start on Monday. I wanted him to see so he would know what supplies to have. They did fine, and I would probably call Arnold & Sons again if I had a problem I couldn't figure out. more

I don't know how they could improve. 8/10/2012

My first time using Arnold & Sons Plumbing Heating I had a leaky pipe. I had them repair the pipe and also the valve. It was fine. I called them back a month later to get a new water heater put in. Everything went quite fine. They came in early one morning, took the old one out and disposed of it, and put the new one in. Everything has worked fine. I don't know how they could improve. more

Arnold & Sons Plumbing Heating was very nice. There was some plumbing that needed to be done. They came out, and they were very good. In fact, I'm getting a new refrigerator and Brian called saying he could hook up the ice machine for it. Definitely use them! I really like that Jennifer called me to check in when something came up. She told me what time he would arrive and if it was okay. I really liked the updates! more

I had a nice young man here from Arnold & Sons, by the name of Brian I believe, and I was pleased with what he did. It was very good service, and I even liked the office help telling me when he was going to arrive, if he was going to be on time, and so on. They made a good impression with me. The service was fine. As far as I can tell, I had no problems. He was here and had it done, and I was well satisfied. I liked and trusted this young man. He made a good impression on me. He knew what he was doing, wasn't pushy, and gave his opinion of what was supposed to be done. He came back the next day to finish the work, and I was happy with it. Jennifer in the office is such a nice person to keep me informed. Some people say they'll be there and don't show up. My plumber wasn't there exactly on time, but I was kept informed. I was impressed with the company and service. They did what I needed, and I would call them again. more

The person from Arnold & Sons Plumbing Heating explained everything. If I had questions, he answered them. He fixed the old water line pipe and re-routed a new one for me that was plastic. more

I used Arnold & Sons Plumbing many years ago so when I was having plumbing problems I gave them a call because I had a good experience with them in the past. I love the little English man they sent out, Joe. He was very nice and very helpful. First of all, I had a leak in a pipe in my basement which he had to replace and put a handle on. He took care of that. He also vacuumed the bathtub and the sink because they were draining slowly. There was also a leak under my kitchen sink which he replaced temporarily until I could have them come out again. I'm ready to call them again. more

We had a serious sewer problem. Mark Arnold worked for 7 hours in extreme heat correcting it. Throughout the process he was friendly courteous and professional. We appreciate the job he did for us. more

We have had Arnold & Sons Plumbing Heating do projects or work for us 3 times, and each time they have done it well and to our satisfaction. Our neighbor recommended them to us a few years ago and we have kept using them for our plumbing and heating needs. more

We didn't have to wait because they work nights! 5/25/2012

Ryan at Arnold & Sons Plumbing Heating did a terrific job. When he got here, he went right at it. There were no problems. Arnold & Sons Plumbing Heating came twice, for our house, and our son's house in Washington. We didn't have to wait because they work nights, which was great for us on that day. He just met us over there, and didn't take very long. Arnold & Sons Plumbing Heating worked on three small items: cartridges for the kitchen sink, the drain in the tub, and the thing around the shower head. At my son's house, they fixed the sump pump, which drains water out of your house. more

This was my first experience with Arnold & Sons Plumbing Heating I was so very pleased with them, I had to call them up and tell them! Everyone calls in to complain, not to give praise ever! I felt like the young man who came out, Brian, was so professional and very, very nice. He took the time to explain everything he was going to do and why he was going to do it. I felt confident that he know what he was doing. He was very accommodating and the entire experience was very pleasant. I trusted his evaluation. Everyone I spoke to was so nice. And when you make an appointment, they stick to it, very punctual. You're not waiting around for them to show up. It was excellent. more

Quick and to the point, fives all around. 4/26/2012

The technician from Arnold & Sons Plumbing Heating was a 5 all around. He knew what he was doing, and he made things look neat and cleaned up after himself. He did a really excellent job, I would say. He was trained in the military, and you could tell. He knew exactly what to do, and it only took him five minutes to hook the pipes up. With contractors, they usually plod around a while and take their time. He was really quick and to the point. more

The people at Arnold & Sons Plumbing Heating replaced the water main and explained really well what they were doing. They were here the next day as well. I used to have someone from Arnold & Sons Plumbing Heating come over to clean the sewer lines for me. They're knowledgeable and tell you everything you need to know. They get the job done pretty quickly! more

Mark, Svc Manager is rude and unprofessional 4/13/2012

From the moment Mark stepped into my home he had an attitude, he did not wear shoe boots as told in their Peoria yellow pages ad. He asked me if I was a plumber because I asked a question about the plumbing. When I called Mark and asked a few questions he snapped at me, called me names and said I was a pain. I wanted to speak to the owner and he said he was the owner. I think Arnold & Sons should fire Mark -since he does not want the company to get customers jobs. Mark needs to apologize to me for his rude actions. I will contact the BBB and report Arnold &Sons. RESPONSE FROM Arnold & Sons Plumbing Htg: from the moment I entered susan benefelds home, she was confrontational and dismissive. When attempting to offer some solution ideas, Susan Benefeld spouted that she was an Engineer. When asked what university she attended, she then arrogantly commented, no, well....I am a Caterpillar Headhunter (i assume for caterpillar hunting engineers) That same puffy chested vibrato spilled over into our conversation on the phone about a proposal we had given for some work. Susan asked some questions and then began huffing on the other end about what was and wasn't included in the written proposal. Though rarely if ever do we as a company exercise our right to refuse service to anyone, it is our belief that if an agreement between to parties is to go forward, the two parties must first AGREE. It was my judgement that to move forward with the exchange of money for services would have been less than favaorable based on our conversations. So pleased with them! 4/5/2012

It was Friday morning and our water heater had died and we couldn't get any hot water, and we could smell gas because the gas ignitor had gone out. I called one plumber and the gentleman couldn't come out until Monday. I found an ad for Arnold & Sons Plumbing Heating in the phone book and called them. The woman I spoke to asked if she could call me back, to see if she could find someone to come out for me, she was super nice and listened to me. She got right back to me and let me know that they could send someone out by 5pm. It was more like 3pm when the man arrived. He was a smart and very nice young man. He showed me how to reignite the heater and cleaned around the filter area for me. He figured out that there wasn't a gas leak, but there was a drain leak. So he had to get the part for that and couldn't fix it until Monday. Which was fine, because it was a little thing that could wait, at least he'd fixed our hot water issue. I was so pleased with the entire experience. I will definitely use their services again in the future! more
