Arnold & Sons Plumbing and Heating came to do the kitchen drain. It was clogged and had standing water in the sink. He told me what he thought he was going to need to do, but ended up only having to use a wet/dry vac to suck the water out of the drain. They were wonderful. The people on the phone were wonderful, as was the person who came out. That being said, I probably can't use them again because the service was over $200. That seemed expensive for the work he did. more

Everything is hooked up and working fine. 12/9/2013

Arnold & Sons did a nice job. There are no leaks. The two plumbers were very nice and explained what they were doing. They had trouble finding the osmosis line, but we pointed it out to them and it was fine then. I appreciated them telling me that they were paid by the job done, not by the hour. I have no complaints. Everything works. more

Our neighbor recommended Arnold & Sons Plumbing Htg to us. From the beginning, we felt that they spoke to us in layman's terms about our plumbing and heating issues. They took the time to go over certain problems with us and inform us of any potential problems that we may have overlooked. Over the last couple of months, they have worked on our hot water heater, installed a check valve, replaced some pvc piping, and installed a power flush. It turned into two separate projects. Each of them were completed in a day's time. The initial contact person was the same each time, though they sent different technicians for each project. They had great communication throughout our dealings with them, and they always showed up at the time they said they would. We would recommend them to others and would definitely use them again. more

Professional plumbers who knew what they were doing. 12/3/2013

Arnold & Sons Plumbing took out my cast iron plumbing and replaced it with galvanized pipes. They ran the plumbing under my sink. I thought they were very professional, thorough, and knowledgeable about the job they did. more

Everything done in a really timely fashion 11/25/2013

We had a water heater that went out. We called Arnold & Sons Plumbing and they were able to come out the same day and repair it for us. The work was done in a really timely fashion. They also noticed some of our things were not up to date according to code so they said they could give us a quote in a couple of days, which they did. They told us to take a look at it because some things were optional. The water heater's working, we have hot water again, and they actually followed up with us afterwards to make sure everything was working. more

They asked $951 to do a job that a plumber friend of mine said it takes about 10-15 minutes to do and materials cost around $250. more

Put water shutoff valves in the wall!? 8/12/2013

Last April Arnold installed a new bath tub faucet in my rental house. They installed the shutoff valves in the wall where they couldn't be accessed after the wall was finished. They would not work with me to move the valves into the basement where they could be accessed when needed. I paid someone else $100.00 to reposition the valves. The management was very rude and uncooperative. I have posted my complaint through BBB on their Facebook page. They post these supposed good reviews on Facebook but this one is for real. RESPONSE FROM Arnold & Sons Plumbing Htg: Mr. Stork We are extremely displeased by any negative review at Arnold & Sons, we pride ourselves on happy customers. Reviews help guide potential customers to our business. We would like to clear the air with you. The shutoff valves were placed in the wall because the two elderly women living in the house could not go without water for a prolonged period of time. The shutoff valves become negligible once the wall is repaired, but aren't needed because there are other water shutoffs to the house. We installed the shut off valves in the wall out of pure convenience for the occupants in the home. Since you were not on site during the installation, we had to make a judgement call. Poor pricing and professionalism 7/1/2013

Arnold and Sons Plumbing Heating was used for replacing the water main valve in the house and for replacing a pipe for a sink. Their prices are extroardinarily high for this area and they charge a flat fee for coming so I used them while they were there. I used someone else for the rest of my house work and the other company was 1/3 of the cost. Arnold and Sons wanted to replace everything and put holes in the walls rather than suggesting solutions to fix the problem (ie repair the pipes). The manager never said "hi" or introduced himself to me when he entered my house which I found to be very unprofessional. more

They scoped out some sewers for us. They were easy to work with. They got it done on time, we had no problems with them. It was my first time using them, but I think they did work at our development before. more

Piping and sink installation 6/26/2013

Arnold and Sons Plumbing came to fix some piping for me and to set up a pedestal sink. There was a piping problem that needed to be fixed for 800 dollars, because it ended up being a major problem, but I believe the work did need to be done. They had to come back once to fix a mistake but they did so quickly. more

I am always very satisfied with what they do for me 6/25/2013

I have been a customer for 10 or 12 years. Arnold & Sons Plumbing has repaired a tub that has a jets. It was a difficult experience because it was an older model, but they worked very hard to get it up and running for me. Recently, they installed a battery-operated sump pump system. They take care of our water softener if I have any problems. I call and they respond quickly and within a reasonable length of time. They've always been very helpful to me. They are responsible and if you have questions, they answer them. If you're not satisfied, they will come back and check things out for you. They're very helpful. more

Very good 6/14/2013

I found Arnold & Sons through a Google search. I wanted someone who is local to help out our community. I hired them to put a back-flow valve in my basement. Everything was fantastic. They were very professional. They took care of everything they said they would. They came out and checked everything. The job was done thoroughly. I will use them again. They will explain everything they are going to do. They'll make sure that you are happy and they are very dependable. more

After 15 years of leakage into the basement, we called Arnold and Sons! 6/12/2013

Arnold and Sons Plumbing and Heating installed a sump pump so no water goes into our basement anymore. I had been collecting water in our basement in a bucket the past 15 years and they fixed all of that in one day with this pump! I would highly recommend them and use them again without question! more

Quick, clean, responsive 6/5/2013

Arnold and Sons Plumbing repaired a leak in our home, and it was an emergency. It was done very quickly and they cleaned up well after themselves. We had a hot water tank go out a couple of months after they did the first job, and again they were "johnny on the spot". They put on a tank-less unit and they were extremely busy at the time but they came in to see us within three days. The work was again done quickly and they were clean in the process. more

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT CALL THESE PLUMBERS! They will overcharge you! I got charged $153 for ""Clearing a Blockage"" - all the guy did was take a plunger and unplug the toilet. 3 weeks later - still have the same issue. CALL A DIFFERENT PLUMBER!!!! more

Overall good experience. 10/8/2012

We thought all we needed was a simple repair, we were having a leak in the bathroom in the tub. Unfortunately it turned out it was not a simple repair. They had to cut a hole in the wall to be able to access the pipes that way. It turned into a larger process, which meant more money. The guy was trying to explain best he could, in long run it needed to get done. It was not the ideal situation, but he explained everything and why it needed to be done that way. The only thing that was disappointing was that the initial service call was Wednesday, and he didn't have enough time to fix it until Friday. Overall it was alright though. more

Prompt and efficient. 10/2/2012

We've had 2 jobs done from Arnold & Sons. The first was in the kitchen, we had 2 replacements of water valve shutoffs. The second one was downstairs, the main water line coming in out of the valve was leaking. We had him replace it and raise it up above the washer and dryer. He did excellent. more
