This was the first time I ever used Arnold & Sons and I was very happy. I liked the fact that they advertised 24 hour service because I needed to speak with a plumber right away. I had a leak in the ceiling in my downstairs basement, and the sheetrock started filling up with water and sagging. The plumber I usually use wouldn't answer the phone. I liked them very much, but I couldn't get a hold of anybody, so I had to find someone else.
I started looking through the yellow pages and I saw Arnold & Sons' advertising 24 hour services, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They also offered a senior discount, which I qualify for, right there on the page. The ad also said that they wear little booties and put down throws so that they don't come in and leave a mess. I liked all those things, and that's the reason I called them. Also, most plumbers in this area have a trip charge, where there is a fee just for coming out. Arnold & Sons had one too, just under $50, but if they do any work they forego the trip charge. I don't know anybody else that does that.
A plumber called me back, and he was very nice and very kind. He came the next morning, and I had already shut off the water because I knew I needed to do that, so he was able to get right to it. He took care of the job for me, and he was very nice and very professional.
I have a huge hole in the ceiling now that I am in the process of repairing. I ran the dishwasher and the sink to make sure nothing was leaking before plastering it all back up and of course there wasn't any leaking. If I had to call Arnold & Sons again, I would, because even though I liked my old plumber I need a plumber that I can count on in an emergency, and that's Arnold & Sons.
