I have been coming to Toyota of Gladstone for many years both for purchase of a vehicle as well as service. I live in North Portland so it is quite a drive but very worth the effort. This dealership is the best. I have had superior assistance both from sales and service. I have recommended them to several people looking for a new/used vehicle and will continue to do so. more

I went in looking for a new car thinking that I wasn't going to buy right away. The customer service and friendliness of the staff, especially Chris and Ryan, was so outstanding that I ended up purchasing my car that night. They both went out of their way to make sure I found exactly what I wanted. They were never pushy or made me feel uncomfortable. Being a 26 year old female, I was prepared for battle, but no bloodshed was needed lol. Chris is new to the dealership, but made it clear that if he didn't have an answer for me, he would find it. I worked through Bank of America's car buying program which has a ""lowest price guarantee"". I was able to purchase my car from the invoiced amount with only the smallest amount of profit for the dealership to cover their costs. No price bargaining which was amazing. They made sure everything with the car was perfect before they even allowed me to drive away and already have me scheduled for a 30 day checkup. All maintenance is included for 2 years at any Toyota dealer as well. I would and already have recommended this dealership. Ask for Ryan or Chris! more

Friendly and knowledgable 5/11/2011

Well not only were the staff friendly, but also very knowledgable. The service department went above and beyond in showing me what was needed to be replaced. Not just telling me what needed to be done but actually showing me. You just dont see this kind of service anymore. They also do very detailed inspections to make sure that the vehicle is in great working condition. Fast service, friendly faces, and very knowledgable. What more can I say? more

Very impressed 5/9/2011

I am consistently impressed with Peggy Maben at the Gladstone Toyota service dept. She is always friendly and helpful. I've never had a problem with scheduling, and the team there is ready for my car upon my arrival. Peggy remembers her customers which keeps us coming back. We've bought Toyotas from other dealerships in town but bring them to Peggy for servicing. She definitely has my trust. more

Exceptionally friendly, courteous and helpful 5/6/2011

Jeff JR. is an exceptional young man, friendly, courteous and helpful. He has followed up the sale and answered questions knowledgeably. In fac, I find the whole dealership that way. When I call in with a question, I am given the answer promptly without hassle and with courtesy. When I was in for service, I was quickly served and questions answered. When I went out the door to go to lunch, someone opened the door for me. I have already recommended the dealership to someone else, but they decided they did not need to trade vehicles, so nothing came of it, but I would be glad to do it again.When I first called in, I was given over to John Hill, one of the managers. Later when I called back, he was willing to take my call and answer my questions before I even came in, offering to buy a tank full of gas as an incentive to make the drive, since I do not live in Gladstone. Of course later the dealership recouped the cost because I had not used much of it before we were back and made a deal, but even so, it was a nice touch. I was asked to rate the ""price"". I have nothing to compare it with so I don't actually know if I got a good deal or not, but we are satisfied with it, and that is sufficient reason for the rating.I am surprised to see that other dealerships have the same rating, but I still say the experience was exceptional: thus,all 5's. more

They will take good care of you! 5/4/2011

I purchased my Honda Element from this dealership, and later I found it had a cracked engine block. My extended warranty did not cover this repair, so the dealership decided to replace the engine with another used one. The engine they replaced it needed a new part, so they ordered it and didn't charge me a dime for any the repairs. They paid for my rental car too. Jenny was helpful from beginning to end. She kept me informed and was so nice to work with. Jenny made my experience excellent from beginning to end. She works with the purple team and I recommend her and the dealership to everyone now. They will took good care of me and will do the same for you! more

Peggy has been my service manager for many years. She is very professional, curtious, helpful and is one of my main reasons for getting all three of my toyotas serviced at this dealership. Most of the service I feel is reasonable in price; but, some are absolutely rediculously high. Overall I have had a great experience with this Toyota dealership. more

Outstanding customer service! 4/28/2011

Go to this dealership. These people make buying a car downright pleasant. Duy (""Dewey"") really listened to what I wanted and found the right car for me. It was easy to reach a fair price. (I had shopped at another dealership before I went to Toyota of Gladstone and was not able to get what I thought was a fair price at the other dealership, so it was refreshing to work with Duy and Sean at Gladstone.) Everyone I encountered at this dealership was courteous. The customer service was so outstanding, all I can say is it surpasses anything I have ever experienced anywhere else. If I ever need another car in the future, I will return to Toyota of Gladstone. more

Jenny Rhodes truely understands what ""customer service"" is all about. Too many business today think only about the all mighty dollar and have pushed customer service to the back burner. Gladstone Toyota has tried hard to bring customer service back. more

Paul was great. He was helpful but not pushy. When we arrived and told him what I was looking for he knew exactly where the car was even though it was way back in the corner of the lot. We had gone just to look and by the end of the day I was in a new 2011 Toyota Corolla and I love the car! Great experience and Paul was the first line of it. All employees were pleasant and very helpful. I will definitely recommend to others! more

I had bought a car here at toyota of gladstone and decided the first time was a good experience so why not return for another one? So I decided to call Duy Dang to help me. The first phone call I made I wasn't so sure if he remembered who I was since it had been more than 2 years since I had bought my first car there. Surprisingly he remembered exactly who I was and what car I had bought. Their customer service is beyond excellent, but there is no word for me to express how excellent Duy Dang was. He was beyond excellent. The day I called him to see if I would be able to get another car was the day I went up there and bought my car! That was how fast and prompt his work was. Very high quality work. He's super friendly and very prompt on answering any questions I had. My overall experience was beyond great and I dont know if I'd ever go to any other dealerships! I can go on and on about Duy Dang and this dealership but it would be super long! I highly recommend this dealership if anyone is looking for friendliness high quality customer service. I had about a million questions for Duy Dang but he did not seem to be bothered and answered every one of my questions thoroughly and even more! Great dealership and awesome dealers! Im super happy with my 2011 Camry SE! more

""FUN"" 4/11/2011

I've purchased many new cars (around 10) and generally the experience is about as enjoyable as going to the dentist for a root canal. You suffer through all the """"normal"""" sales tactics, the sales sharks pounce on you and then there is the """"fun"""" of price negotiation followed by the mind numbing boredom and tedium of the finance person.I go into the dealership already knowing about the vehicle(including my best negotiated price at all the other dealerships)and knowing my trade in price. Gladstone Toyota is an ABSOLUTE PLEASURE. My salesman PHIL HABIBI is the greatest! NO PRESSURE, extremly knowledgeable of the products and courteous. I actually sought him out as my salesperson, as I'd bought a vehicle from him 6 years prior...and came in and """"kicked some tires"""" about 3 years ago. I don't know about you.....but when a salesman comes up and greets you and your wife by name after 6 years. You know you are not just another sale. Did I mention Phil Habibi is the Greatest!! When it came time for my trade in....I was able to get the price I wanted rather than feeling insulted and violated as at the other dealerships. When it came to financing time.....I was bracing myself for the tedium,boredom and salespitches that seems to drag on forever. I can say without hesitation that this was the MOST PLEASUREABLE, professional and """"painless"""" time I have ever experienced at any dealership. Jamshid Nejad ...(JAM) gave me the best service I have ever had and was very enjoyable to work with. Both my wife and I were beyond impressed at how painless this was. Ask for JAM....impressive is an understatement. Have you ever had the red carpet treatment? First time at any dealer for me. I expect my vehicle to be washed and have a full tank of gas (this was done without even having to negotiate it). It's the first time I have ever driven a vehicle off the showroom floor...literally on a red carpet. I'd also like to give Gladstone Toyota a HUGE thumbs up for their website. They were the only dealership that actually showed the exterior and interior colors and options....rather than the usual...call for details pitch. Made doing my comparison shopping much easier. If you enjoy the """"traditional"""" suffering and sales tactics.....you could go to the other dealerships in the area. I did (4 of them)....as part of my price research and trade in research. I got the """"usual"""" treatment I expected. Let me save you the suffering. Give Gladstone Toyota a try. Ask for PHIL for sales and ask for JAM for finance. I don't impress easily and these two gentlemen WOWED me! more

Roger did a fabulous job 4/8/2011

Roger did a fabulous job of making me feel comfortable in my purchase. He and Toyota of Gladstone worked with me to get me the monthly payment that worked best for me. I had the honor to be his first sale and will keep the tie as a reminder. I came in looking for a car for my specific needs and Roger had so much knowledge and helped me find a car that fit my needs. He was also very knowledgeable about the car I bought, showing me all the basics but also all the specifics for that car. He twice explained how everything worked so I would be comfortable. I noticed a problem with the hubcaps and he immediately worked out the problem so they could be replaced at no cost to me. I would definitely return to Roger at Toyota of Gladstone when I look for a car to purchase next time. more

Even more important to me than details of cars (because I do my own research) Paul knows how to make the entire transaction go as smoothly as possible. I have purchased my last seven vehicles from Toyota of Gladstone. I have always received excellent customer service from the sales staff making it very easy for me to return for future purchases. I was contacted by Toyota Motor Credit regarding my wife's Toyota Camry which was nearing the end of it's lease period. I told them I would be interested in leasing a new 2011 Toyota Camry. A short time later Paul Palmer contacted me from Toyota of Gladstone. Paul was very quick to answer all of my questions and concerns through this process. Paul acted in a professional and friendly manner, assuring all of my needs were met. During the sales process other employees from the store, who I have met in the past from previous purchases, made an effort to say hi and see how things were going with me and family. It was a very positive experience. I selected a 2011 Toyota Camry for my wife and was very excited about our choice. I had to wait for the new Camry to be moved from another dealer location to Toyota of Gladstone for a few days. Needles to say I was very excited to get our new car. Paul took the time to keep me updated through the waiting process. He called me on a frequent basis to update me with the status of my new vehicle and details of when it would be available. I was very impressed with his follow through and service even after the initial sale had been completed. Clean, fair, friendly, and customer oriented 3/31/2011

My wife and I had been looking for a new car for a few months, when we had Toyota of Gladstone recommended to us. We were put in touch with Mr. Duy Dang. We live in Northern California, so all communication was done via email and phone. Duy was always extremely responsive, helpful, professional, and very patient with questions we had about the different vehicles, features, and package options. Duy came up with two very good options for us, and we chose a vehicle and began the purchase.We made preparations for me to fly up and pick up the new car and drive it back home. Duy picked me up at the airport, and took me to the dealership. Upon arrival at the dealership, I saw that my car was waiting on the showroom floor waiting for me and all paperwork was ready for my signature. Everything was completed in less than one hour, which was nothing less than amazing considering how painful the purchase process has been at other dealerships in the past. Duy made sure the vehicle was detailed with a full tank of gas. I was given a detailed walk through of all of the features on the vehicle and in depth service training, handed the keys and drove off the showroom floor. Duy followed up with phone calls and emails to not only make sure that we were happy with the purchase, but to make sure that I had arrived home safely. Customer service that truly goes above and beyond. This dealership which is managed by Mr. David Elder, is clean, fair, friendly, and customer service focused. The pride everyone has in their work and their dedication to their customers is nothing less than excellent. This is something that I have not found at other car dealerships in the past. Purchasing a car from them was a very pleasant experience and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. We can?t say enough good things about Duy and Toyota of Gladstone more

Without a doubt, one of the best car purchases we have ever experienced! Everyone at Toyota of Gladstone was so friendly and personable. Dealing with Paul, was like working with family. He is the BEST sales-person we have ever done business with. Our truck was pulled into ""the living room"" so that we could be shown all the ""bells and whistles"". When it comes time for us to make another purchase, we will definitely be looking for Paul! more
