Salemanship, Installation, Service 12/3/2012

I have had my Carrier furnace for 1 yr. I have absolutely no complaints. All is going well. The Salesman, Josh Giersch, was very helpful and did not try to force me to buy something I did not want and he was very patient with me. The removal of my monsterous old oil furnance and installation of the new gas furnace was flawless. And my first maintenance check with James Oscar was very personable, thorough, and quite convenient. I received several quotes from other companies and I would definately recommend Carrier/from Southport Heating. more

Both times I have used their service, the service persons had outstanding customer service. They were professional and very courteous. They explained in detail what they were doing and were very helpful in giving expert advice. The office personnel I made the service appointment with was also very polite and courteous. I will definitely recommend them to anyone! more

Several weeks ago we found that we needed to replace our furnace, hot water heater and wanted to add a vent under the kitchen sink. We called Southport Heating to get 1 of the 2 quotes we felt we needed. Josh came out and gave us a quote for the items needed, After receiving a 2nd quote, we decided the quote from Southport better suited our needs. A date was set for the installation and work was started on time. The price for the Carrier furnace, water heater and vent was in our price range. Date was set for installation and work was started on time. Both Adam and Colin the installers, did their work professionally and efficiently. They cleaned up and were careful in removing all the old equipment. Colin spent time to make sure we understood how to work the new thermostat before he left. The Carrier furnace allows us to have an even distribution of heat in our house and definately a good choice. We would recommend Southport Heating and their installers to anyone. more

Arrived on time, explained what he was doing and how long it would take to complete the inspection. Answered all questions regarding the health of the current furnace and we discussed replacement costs. Contract signed for the next year. All very professional. more

Very Professional and reasonable rates 11/16/2012

My husband and I received excellent service from Colin who serviced our furnace and who was very concerned about an item that came up during the service. He had asked Josh to stop by and go over our options for a new comfort control furnace. Both men were very knowledgeable and professional. I also feel that their furnace, air conditioner and plumbing maintenance agreements are worth every penny. Again Great Job!! more

Best service ever, all the way around. I don't think I have ever hired a company that was more professional. There was no wait, I set up a time to be here and they were spot on. Taylor, the technician was very nice, professional, and ran everything down for me on what he was going to do, then did it quick and to perfection. I highly recommend using this company. I know for all my future problem they will be the ones I call. Thank you very much for the kind service. more

Overall I had a good experience. Service guys are professional and knowledgeable. I do wish that when you sign up for a maintenance agreement that they would just call me to schedule an appointment. That little postcard reminder gets lost. more

They were over and did a clean and check service, I was more than happy with it. I had him give recommendations on carbon dioxide, and asked what he thinks of my old furnace. He was very knowledgeable, very efficient, and didn't take long to do what he needed to do. He answered all questions, I was happy with that. more

Fast,Clean and Professional 11/8/2012

These people are total pros, the office called and said the tech should be to my home in about 15 minutes, and he was here in about 13 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem, made the repair, cleaned up the area better than it was when he arrived. Thanks Southport Heating more

We have been using Southport Heating for a number of years. When it came time to replace our furnace and a/c unit-we chose Southport. Not just because of product and pricing, but because of their professional team. We had James Oscar come out last week for our yearly furnace check-up. He was courtesy, professional and a delight to work with. I tell everyone to have Southport Heating as their furnace, a/c team! more

After hours call 10/30/2012

I came home to no heat. Collin was there within a couple hours, drove back to the office to get the part we needed and did an excellent job. Very polite and friendly. more
