Adam from Southport was here to service our Richmond tank less Water Heater. He showed up on time then determined the problem was most likely covered by warranty. He contacted Richmond and was able to explain the problem to them in a way that they determined that indeed the Heater problem was covered by warranty. Saving us the cost of a new heater. He also answered any questions we had. Prompt ,Friendly,& Reasonable cost. Will use and recommend Southport again. Great job Adam!!!! more

Ben from South Port Heating was at our house at 1:30 a.m. in the bitter, bitter cold last night. Communication with Southport as to service coming was great. Ben arrived and even though he had every reason to be cold tired crabby and irritable, he was such a pleasant young man. His service was great! When he left, he left to cheerfully go on to another call. It was very easy to tell he likes what he does and enjoys helping out people in distress. What a fine and competent young man! The company that installed our furnace (and has yet to return our call) has just lost a customer to Southport Heating!!!! Thank you for the service you provide! more

Jan, 6, 2014 registered as -14 degrees below zero with 20 yr record breaking wind-chills near -40 below. Our pipes stopped working and we feared they'd burst and cost $1000's and $1000's to repair. We read the online Reviews/Testimonials from other Southport Customers and called. Plumber Tom K was here within 2 hours, as cheerful and pleasant and professional as on a Spring day, assessed the situation, moved heaven and earth to get the unusual part we needed and had us up and running again in no time. He was patient, courteous, careful to explain all the options, kind and reassuring about home-owner cost anxieties and about the nicest man imaginable. We saved so much time and money, and he helped us understand the benefits of their additional plan offered to valued customers that provides the back-up needed for emergencies like today, plus yearly maintenance checks to save money in the long run, really for pennies a day. What an amazing deal. What an amazing company. What extraordinary personnel. I will sing Southport's praises at the drop of a hat, at work, church, in the grocery store, gas station, anywhere!!! Tony showed up exactly on time on an extremely frigid day (01/06/14). He went right to work and installed our new water heater in the estimated time and removed the old without any problems or mess. After the installation, everything was explained regarding operation and the Maintenance Agreement. Josh Giersch went over all of our options on what we could do with the heater and ac unit in our home. He also followed up with us after the estimate and after the new ac unit and heater were installed to make sure everything was working to out expectations. We were having problems with sewer gases - you came in gave me an estimate - after tile was removed you came in the day after and did the plumbing - next day we did the tile and we are so happy no more sewer smell. we are very happy with the expert care we recieved from our first call for help. Buck came to assess our situation. Then we had Tim come out to help us with our needs as far as what would fit our budget as well as a quality product. He explained all of options in a manner easily understood. today he was here a few times to check on things. The men who installed the furnace were timely, polite and extremely knowlegable on the install. Ben and Joe cleaned up after themselves very well. Last night, my old water heater gave out and slowly leaked 90+ gallons onto our basement floor. As I was cleaning up the water, I started dreading the number of days I thought it would take to replaced. I called Southport at 8am this morning... and had a new water heater installed by 3pm THE SAME DAY!!! Both of the installers were very friendly and answered all my questions. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone with an emergency. more

Southport Heating, Plumbing, & Geothermal replaced my furnace and humidifier. I had interactions with both the installation technicians and the salesmen prior to purchasing from them. Getting a quote from them was nice and informational. The people who did the installation were very professional. They cleaned up nicely after themselves, and they really took the extra steps to do a good installation for us. They followed up after the work was done to make sure the tax credit and rebate forms were filled out properly. They did what they said they were going to do and exceeded my expectations. If you go with Southport you can look forward to good installation with a quality product. more

Called Southport Heating at 8AM - Tech (Tom Koldeway) was at the house by 9:30AM. Replaced broken water heater, cleaned up, hauled off broken one in a couple of hours. Very professional. We would recommend Southport to everyone. more

The technician performed an annual furnace maintenance. He stated exactly what he was going to do prior to the work. He also encouraged me to stick around if I wanted to get more familiar with the furnace. He provided alot of valuable information and answered my questions as we went along. He also documented everything he did on the service report for future reference. more

Last minute call on a Monday, they were able to come out on a Tuesday. Fixed the problem very quickly and actually did some extra credit other maintenance. My tech Eric Garrison was very knowledgeable and polite. Best of all he gave me a ride to my car after my dogs escaped. Would definitely recommend for the future, and I signed up for their annual maintenance. more
