We had trouble with our air conditioner and that was done by Eric of Southport Heating. He did a great job. He was professional and answered questions. Great. Unfortunately, a couple of days later our hot water heater went out and Tom came. Again, questions were answered, he was professional, and he was very kind. He wore the slippers over the shoes in the house. Everything is working to our satisfaction. Tom explained to us if we had any more plumbing needs that they would come over and service us right away as part of a maintenance service. I'm very happy about that too. more

Great job 7/30/2013

James did a great job of servicing our central air units and our stand-by generator. We've appreciated his skill for a few years now---when after three or four techs couldn't identify the problem with our residential boiler and he walked in and solved the problem in 10 minutes. more

We just moved to the area and heard about Southport from a coworker. James Oscar came out to fix our A/C. He was very friendly, professional, and through while he was here. I will refer him to friends and family and will definitely use Southport in the future. more

Great Service 7/15/2013

Southport Heating has installed a new furnace and A/C, hot water heater, and now two brand new toilets for us, along with the plumbing to go with those in the basement, over the last year! Tom Koldeury did the two toilets and plumbing just a couple of weeks ago, and sorry for taking so long to get this review done! All of the companies work and workers have been fantastic and done some excellent work for us! We have been very satisfied to do business with this company and all the people that work for them! Thanks again, for being there for us Southport! more

Referred them for my mom's AC Tuneup 7/10/2013

Did a very thorough inspection and found some items that needed to be replaced-under warrenty so no charge, however was taking some time to get the parts on a very hot and humid summer weekend, so I contacted Josh and ask him if there was anything they could do so she would not be without her AC for te hwhole weekend... They showed up within the hour I think and had her up and running in the early afternoon. It made her weekend!! more

A/C and furnace replacement 7/4/2013

Josh had to come out 3 times over the past year before we decided to "pull the trigger". I had a couple of specific requirements to start with, and he took them into consideration. I very much appreciate his time, patience, and honesty in answering my questions about cost differential between systems and energy savings payback. Quite frankly, hard sell would have sent me elsewhere. Ben and Ryan arrived on time and were great at install. My home does not leave many alternatives for installation but their work quality is great. Ben answered any questions I asked and handled a couple of difficult retrofit issue to where, if I was not there to see it, would not have known occurred. They put in a long day here and I appreciate their efforts. Great Job, guys! I'd recommend you anytime. more

Air Conditioner Tune Up - Excellent Again 6/22/2013

James Oscar did it again, a great job maintaining our air conditioner. Southport installed a complete new furnace/airconditioner a couple of years ago and it has been great. We got a great price because of the rebates and tax credits. They have maintained it also, and it has continued to work like new with no problem!! thanks again, Dave G more
