I have not purchased a vehicle from them but I have a 2011 BMW that I service there. They have great customer service and a very comfortable lounge area with great coffee. The people in service did an outstanding job addressing my issues with my car. Everything about the whole process is painless and just easy. I drop my car off, get a loaner, which I like because they are brand new cars. My service adviser is Tim. He is extremely friendly, courteous, and professional. My car gets worked on and all issues resolved promptly. I also like how easy it is to communicate with them via email. If I have questions about my car or anything else, I have a ""go-to"" guy to ask my questions and I get a response back that same day. Other advisers could care less if you sent them emails so to me, this really means going above and beyond. Great place for service if you are in the LA area. Next time I'm in the market for a new BMW, I will gladly give their sales dept a try. more

Went in to get my car checked for failure to start. Once they see you can't get the car started they got you by the balls. They charged $145 to ""diagnose"" the car after I told them exactly what's wrong with the car. They charge $800 for a thermostat. Their reason, it's genuine BMW not OEM. I looked at various auto parts for ""genuine BMW"" the part is $35 They quote $400 for the part and $200 labor. Then they say it'll be ready by the end of the day, then you get call saying it wont be ready until the next day. more

Totally untrustworthy, dishonest and unrelieable! Accepted my offer on a car and then (within 2 hours) sold it to someone else for more. They admitted their 'mistake' and said they were sorry. Sorry is the right way to describe this kind of behavior in 2011. We had a contract that the chose to dishonor without a word to me. I live out of town, and saw a car I wanted to buy on their web site. I tried to buy the car over four days when while they told me every story you can imagine. They negotiated for three days before accepting my offer. I told them we had a deal! Then within two hours they turned around and told me they had sold the car to someone else. Completely lacking ethics and honesty. Admitted that they were wrong and offered to find me another car. Obviously brain dead to think I would by even a bag of peanuts from them after they wasted my time. Avoid at all costs. There are lots of good BMW dealers, don't waste your time with these guys. more

this place gets the worse service ever !!! I made a service appointment on 10:40 am and the customer service told i can pick up my car around 2:00 pm or if they done it early they will call me back to pick my car , there had a promised time on the paper it is 4:00pm . i was waiting until to 5:30pm still nobody call me from new century bmw . when i call them ask about does my car ready to pick up ? the service said it was ready long time !!!!!! think about that , after they made money from us , whatelse they can get from the customer ? nothing else , so they dont care about customer anymore !!!!! guys choice a better place for your after-sales service . i swear if they do that to me again i ll complain them to consumers' association !!!!! more

i have never had a bad experience at new century BMW . I have owned several bmws and have had all of them serviced at the dealer over the last 20 years. Exceptional service team. Me and my wife will not go any where else. more

Never go here for service! \r \r I've been here a few times for repairs on my Z3, and every time they recommend I buy ridiculously overpriced services that I don't need (like over $2000 to replace seat rails that literally work just fine) and rip me off on the services I do need.\r \r Recently I needed a muffler repair. The estimate was over $1300 for a replacement, including (you're not going to believe this) $145 for them to "check and advise".\r ...\r "CHECK AND ADVISE"? $145??? I already knew what was wrong and I told them when I got there!! The best part is that I left and got my repair done at Orange Grove Mufflers for $60 and it is good as new! That's 95% less!!! I'm so glad I didn't get the job done by New Century BMW!\r \r Customer service was terrible the last time I was there as well: Their guy was 15 minutes late to my appt (which was a big deal because I needed to catch a carpool to get to work afterwards). I recently had one of the worst car experiences in my life. I went to New Century BMW in Alhambra to get an Oil Change and a Turn Light Bulb replaced. So I give them the keys and they take my car. An hour later I get back my BMW X5 4.4i but it looks and feels different. They Stole one of my BMWs New Headlight Assemblies and replaced it with an Old Dirty Diffused Cloudy Discolored Headlight Assembly! They also took the Air out of my Tires! My BMW X5's two front tires purposely flatten to 28 psi & the back ones to 32 psi, the new Tire Stems on my Goodyear Response Edge Performance Tires had been broken & twisted! (They are 44 PSI Tires) & it seemed that they didn't even top off my Oil!!!! I was charged $500 to have my X5 trashed / Do not take your car to New Century BMW in Alhambra / There is no control there I need some help in fighting & correcting this, I contacted the Manager but he hasn't returned my call, do I need to contact the Better Business Bureau of the United States America - Cons: New Century BMW Alhambra / Worst Service / Thiefs more

This dealer is the most popular among Chinese people who live in Diamond bar. They actually set the price high in the beginning, but big room for bargain. I bought my car there, and got a reasonable price more

Ripoff!! This place is a huge ripoff. I've taken my 330i here while still under service warranty. When my clutch went out in October, took it there because I wanted to have "experts" work on it. They replaced all major components of the clucth system including the clutch assembly. Paid over $2,600 to have them fix the problem. Lo and behold, the problem is back a month later. Took it back and they wanted to charge me an additional $300 for labor to fix the same problem. Also had a problem with the coolant leaking in June last year and they "fixed" it in June. Again, the problem comes back and they want to charge me an additional $500 to fix the problem. This place does not take accountability for the service they give. Will rip you off if your service warranty is out! more

I'm lazy about these review stuff, but i decided to write this out so other customer won't get fooled like I was. One day my car key could not open my car and I went to New Century BMW to get a new car key. They said my car key is absolutely fine and it's my car that had a problem (without even exam my car). So I towed my car to this place, they first run a complete examination ($149) and said my car computer is broken and need a new one ($889). After all these and after one week, they finally called me saying ""They new computer is not working and now you need a new car key ($249)..."" I called them millions of times and they refuse admit they've made a mistake in a very bad attitude. Although i live only couple miles away from New Century, I'm now going to other dealer with better service! Absolutely not going back again! Pros: nice building outside Cons: Mislead customer to get more unnecessary service. more

It was unbelievable to me how rude and disrespectful the team at New Century BMW was. This is the first vehicle we have leased from them and it will be the last. I refuse to even go back to that location to get my car serviced. We have leased 2 other vehicles from Pacific BMW in Glendale and one cant even compare the two locations. My daughter took her brand new 3 series in because when she shifted when she put her car into reverse it would fo forward then back into to reverse. This to me is a serious problem that puts her and others in danger, but the service team told her unless she can produce the problem on the spot they couldnt do anything about it. They refused to service her vehicle or even look at it. Unbelievable!!!!! This not the type of service BMW promises. Save yourself the trouble and never lease or purchase from New Century BMW in Alhambra. more

These jerks did a full bait-and-switch on me. After the original estimate the came back to me 3 more times to push up the price of the work. They charged me $740 for an inspection and didn't even give me the findings. If you take your car to these con artists expect to get taken for a ride. \r \r Pacific BMW is much better. I have just returned from a service appt at this dealership. To my great relief (given some of the reviews here), my experience was excellent. My appt was for a simple, low mileage oil change. Greg was my customer service rep. He was nice, helpful and very informative. My car was ready as-promised in one hour. He took me out to my car and then spent time answering all my questions; looking under the hood with me to explain some things; sat in my car explaining more things; and bringing me additional explanatory materials. In addition, they had completely detailed my car. It was beautiful. And I was impressed. True, my service need was a simple one that was covered under warranty. But I was very happy with the experience regardless. Ask for Greg if you can. He is great. The only reason I am not giving them five stars is because my service was so simple. I would like to try them out for a more complicated job. (And the TV was a little loud in the waiting area.) more
