Worst BMW dealer in Los Angeles, will never buy or take my 2 bmw's for service to this place, ever! 1/16/2009

This is a typical asian catering BMW dealer, with terribly high prices, terrible service, very rude and stupidly slow salesmen who cant even find their own car keys! They yell at you, and even talk down to you like if you dont spend a couple thousand extra, you are a worthless asian.. I would avoid this place and goto another bmw dealer for any car purchase or services. These guys will try to rip you off, they lie alot and show you bogus MSRP and invoice prices, do your own research and learn the truth! Pros: nice new facility Cons: worst run BMW dealer, terrible service, terrible salesmen more

Worst BMW Dealership in Southern California 1/8/2009

Brought my car in to have the thermostat replaced and was over-billed 1.6 hours worth of labor charge (over a $200 difference). When I pointed this out to the dealership they would not refund the difference. The customer service is terrible, especially in this situation where the management was rude and unreasonable. My recommendation to anyone is to stay away from this dealership for repairs and search out a good independent BMW garage. I originally purchased my BMW from this dealership. After this incident I refuse to give them any more business and have been spreading the word around to friend/family regarding their unfair practices. THE SHORT ANSWER IS STAY AWAY - THIS DEALERSHIP WILL CHEAT YOU IF GIVEN THE CHANCE. Pros: Shiny new building Cons: Rude to coustomers, overbilling, poor customer service more

CUSTOMER SERVICE = CUSTOMER CIRCUS AT THIS PLACE! 1/23/2008

I brought my car in for some insurance repair work to my dash. I figured if you could trust anyone it would be the dealership! WRONG! I brought the car in ahead of time to get an estimate. The service advisor I dealt with was Dan Cao. I went through and showed him what needed to be done - pointed out each part. I then went to the insurance company and they approved the work so I made an appointment and left my car with the dealership for a day to get the work done. The Insurance appraiser gave me a list of parts he had approved to have replaced. I gave this to Dan and made it clear that should they need any more parts they were to call the Insurance company for approval. Dan assured me it would all be taken care of. When I arrived later that evening to pick up the car it appeared that nothing had been done to the dash and the bill was for about $75 over the estimate amount. It turned out the Insurance adjustor had listed the wrong parts and both Dan and Ben, the manager were very quick to point a finger at the Insurance company. Yes, they made a mistake, but had Dan double checked the paperwork he would have caught this. He SHOULD have caught this instead of just pushing the car through to get the work done not having any clue what the service dept. was doing to it. I found the manager Ben to be condescending and I thought he should have stepped up and admitted their fault in not double checking the parts list, but he just kept blaming the Insurance company. Bottom line is that if they are this reckless and unconcerned as to what was being done to my car they are not the kind of people I want working on it. I have taken it to a great Indie shop and the customer service I have recieved is leaps and bounds above what this dealership had to offer me. I am now sure the work will be done correctly and professionally. Too bad this dealership could not accomplish this! Cons: Service advisor Dan did not care enough to double check anything and the manager Ben was condescending and rude. more

What Customer Service? there isnt any! 10/30/2007

My family and I were there on Sunday, 10/27. It was a slow day there. Very few people. I guess because my husband left his BMW at home and we used our CrV, no one cared to introduced themselves or welcome us into the show room. We got stared at a lot, (what are we going to do? shoplift a car?!) and after at least 15 mins someone came to say Hello. Never said, can I help you, never said, if you have questions let me know. We asked about a 6 series convertible and all we got was a "you have to order it". Lot didnt seem to have much of selection. Might as well been in a desert. We'll take our business somewhere else. more

BEST BMW CLIENT ADVISORS 10/9/2007

My experience at BMW in alhambra is great. they are always so friendly and stright forward. the day i call them is the day i get my car problems fixed, they are just willing to bend over backwards. The sales guy who has sold me a number of cars is the same one I always contact and he refers me to the various other parts of the lot...his name is Hamlet. Hamlet has been there for a long time and knows a lot about the cars and is great at what he does. more

the best customer service! 4/6/2007

I live in Brentwood CA...I would never take my car to Santa Monica BMW or Beverly Hills BMW I rather drive to Alhambra were all my calls are returned and there's allways someone to pick up the phone with any questions that I might have..... Pros: best customer service more

Best 1st time Customer Experience 7/23/2006

I have a 2002 BMW M3 that was running rough and had a check engine light on. I took the M3 to an independent shop and they diagnosed it as bad ignition coils. They also told me that BMW put out a bulletin on defective ignition coils and that they will be covered under warranty even though the car is out of the factory warranty. I took it to a BMW Service Center in Glendale and they will not replaced the coils because I had aftermarket spark plugs. I told them about defective ignition coils and they wanted over $300 to put in new facoty spark plugs then they can replace the ignition coils. There is nothing wrong with the aftermarket spark plugs that I replaced and they can't cause coil failures! I declined the work and took it to New Century BMW. Abe was my Service Adviser and they replaced the coils under warranty and car runs great! Very happy with New Century. Disappointed at the Service Center in Glendale. more

Parts Dept 7/23/2006

I buy all of my OEM BMW parts from New Century BMW. \r The guys there are honest and treat you well. I prefer to go to them than the local dealer in Glendale. PROS: honest CONS: BMW OEM Parts are not cheap more

Very Good Experience 5/30/2006

To be fair to the other review, I have serviced the car yet. \r \r I had a very good experience with New Century BMW. I highly recommend my sales associate Andy Jin and his manager Rick. I purchased my car in late April 2006.\r \r I told Andy what I was looking for and how much I wanted to pay. Andy looked for over 6 weeks until he found a car that matched and he called me in. \r \r Friendly sales staff. \r \r They are moving a block or two east very soon. PROS: Andy Jin, Sales Staff, They Listen CONS: None Yet more

4 stars 10/12/2005

service is brisk and friendly at new century bmw. you pull up there and usually there is not much of a wait. at other dealer service departments, Ive noticed the line can get unwieldy and customers are sometimes unattended to. This is not the case at new century bmw. I have noticed workers there are very bottom-line motivated they really super want you to give their dealership 5-stars when corporate calls you up wanting to know how you were treated some workers will try to guilt-trip you into giving them a 5-star rating, even if you felt like service was more like 4- or 3-stars they dont want you to be honest with corporate. So some workers will give mediocre service but will be super nice when they know you are about to get out of their face. more

Never on time 9/1/2005

I used these guys until my warrenty ran out...then i RAN out! The car is NEVER NEVER done on time. The service technicans are nice and I didn't feel stupid asking questions. PROS: They wash your car. I felt respected as a woman. CONS: Car not done on time. more

What a RIP OFF 8/15/2005

I bought a certified Pre-Owned 2001 BMW 540i from New Century. At first I was happy, staff was very attentive, and they gave me a great deal. It has been a little over six months since I financed the car on 2/9/05 and so far I've had to: -Fix a broken cupholder -Fix a bad instrument cluster -Have the Computer reprogrammed -Put in a new clutch to the tune of $1,265.00 To add insult to injury, a clutch is considered wear n' tear, not part of the warranty, and neither the dealer or BMW service could do better than giving me a 10% discount. Certified waste of money - stay away from these guys PERIOD PROS: Very friendly CONS: Poor quality vehicles more
