Very professional 11/29/2019

The plumbing team were very nice and professional. While they did unclog the bathtub drain (albeit maybe only temporarily because apparently the obstacle causing the clog is deep within the pipes and the snake would have broken), we were given instructions to use boiling water and bleach daily for one month to possibly dislodge the obstacle entirely. I'm giving the rating a "6" only due to cost. $350 to snake the bathtub drain and also caulk around the toilet is much too costly. Another plumber in the area (after I had already made the appt with Magnolia) gave me an estimate of $200 (without the caulking), however, I couldn't change the dates (the $200 plumber wasn't available when Magnolia was). I expected a much thicker caulking around the rim / base of the toilet, I could have done the caulking myself. I appreciate the professionalism, the team themselves were wonderful but the cost was too high, I will not use again due to the cost. more

We had a complicated issue with our HVAC and the only pleasant or straight-forward part of the experience was working with Jose. He was always on time, he gave us an honest estimate and he was able to fix our problem quickly. We have signed a service contract with him as a result. more

Excellent Service 8/17/2019

Tan arrived right on time and was very thorough and efficient. He was here to perform my annual a/c and heating checkup, explained everything he was doing, and made a couple of suggestions to improve efficiency and/or head off a potential valve problem with the furnace next winter. He and his helper cleaned up very well when they were finished and everything is now working perfectly. I recommend him highly. The service was included in an annual contract I'd already purchased, which also specified a 25 percent discount on all replacement parts, so the price for this house call was very reasonable. more

Good service from a knowledgable technician 8/17/2019

Tan, from Magnolia plumbing, arrived on time and immediately checked out the AC unit. He listened to my description of the problem and looked at the power lines until he found the cause, a stripped wire near the house. He was able remove the power box (please excuse my incorrect terms!)and pull out clean wires, cut the then rewire the power to the unit outside and that was that! I was happy he found the problem and came up with a solution...I kept his business card for the next time. more

Great technician. Great Company 8/12/2019

The technician that Magnolia sent to our home, Saeid Fotouri, was very thorough and efficient in fixing the problem with our air conditioning. We have an older home that has a complicated multi unit and multi-zone set up and Saeid took the time to thoroughly evaluate our systems and efficiently address the issues so that our a/c was back up and running as quickly as possible. In addition, he was professional and courteous and he took the time to politely explain exactly what he had found and how he addresses the problems. Thank you! more

Carlos came and fixed our AC during one of the hottest heat waves DC has ever seen. We were given a window of 8-10 am and Carlos showed up right on time and got straight to work. He was efficient, charming, and even taught me a few things! Not only did he fix our AC, but he identified ways to prevent the problem from ever occurring again, and walked us through those changes. We will definitely be requesting Carlos the next time we call Magnolia. more
