Klein Honda

By far worst car buying experience I have ever had. My husband and I bought a "certified" used car off their lot 3 weeks ago and could not be more disappointed with our experience. I should have known better when the sales team was "joyriding" in our trade in before we had even signed the final papers to own the car we bought. After getting the car home we realized the radio presets did not work right, and a couple days later (after the 3 day exchange policy) that the car had a pretty significant oil leak. After taking the car to a mechanic we also found out it had a bearing that needed to be replaced (apparently they replaced one on the left that was making noise but not the one on the right which was almost in the same condition), the battery did not remain charged and needed to be replaced, the oil leak was significant and either from a cam seal (hopefully) or the head gasket, and the the entire radio unit would need to be replaced if we wanted it to work correctly. I was told to bring the car in to see what they could do for me (I dropped it off on a sunday night) and was shuffled from service to sales and manager to manager until I was finally told that there was nothing they could do for me because the warranty would not cover it. I also had to call them myself to get this news because no one called me. I am going to get the car today and it is Friday. I have had to borrow a friends car for the last week. Please be advised that their certified 123 point inspection and certification only certifies that those points meet "their standards" which after talking to several people in the service department means that the car will not have a catastrophic failure in the first month or 1000 miles of ownership. After trading in my car (that was in very good condition) and paying several thousand dollars I now have a car with lower miles that needs about 3 thousand dollars worth of repairs. Employees at this dealership should be ashamed of the products they sell. I am not sure how they sleep at night. more

I bought a car there and they said it was in a minor wreck and had the bumper replaced.... I took it to a mechanic about 3 weeks later to get the oil changed and the mechanic takes me under the vehicle and it turns out it was in a major wreck and the whole side of the car. Parts were bent back in place and has a horrible paint job when you look around edges or closely. I looked on the internet and it seems they have a history of lying about condition of vehicles. They may not know the condition but if they dont they shouldn't be saying "minor damage" or downplaying what really happend. Also about the staff, I really think that the ones leaving the "good" reviews are the employees because EVERYONE that lives around the area is now telling me their horror stories of how they are taken advantage of by the staff. Things like being quoted one price and it never ends up being even close to what they originally say. Same thing happend to me. Really would not recommend going there for sales or service. more

I went in there too look at a car, the car was a decent price, coulda got a better deal, but I liked the color and interior so i decided to go check it out. I went to take a trade in and the guys who were evaluating the trade in were very snotty and rude...if you don't want my trade in, just say so, no need to be an A** abt it...but i let that slide because i wanted the car. most of the people were nice, until....i took the car home while they were trying to figure out my financing and noticed a small noise in the engine, I asked them to fix it and they refused and told me i was S.O.L., I lucked out because I was getting financed with a co-signer and my cosigner hadn't signed the paperwork yet, but they still had the nerve to tell me i couldn't back out of the deal after how rude they were and everything. So i simply pointed out that my cosigner hadn't signed yet and made them give me a refund and i went on my way. If you find a good deal here just make sure you are 100% satesfied with the car before you buy, and be prepared to get bent over if there is an issue....One of the assistant managers did a good job, but it's buyer beware at this dealership! more

I am a young woman on a limited budget and Nate worked with me to help me to get an amazing deal on a car. I was a little nervous shopping for a car, but Nate was a real gentleman. Went in the next day and she had me go with Jared, who was very nice and polite. Then we went to Josh and it was over and done. I really enjoyed my experience with Klein and will go back there again. more

An internet buying service brought me to Klein Honda through their eSales Representative, Bebs MagBag who hooked me up with Alex Luu. I've bought many a car in my years but working with Alex was the best experience yet. He actually listened to what I had to say and was very courteous. He knew his product thoroughly and helped me get just what I wanted. Josh the finance representative was no less helpful. He was easy going and that's what we liked. We had our kids with us and he got us the car as fast as he could with the price we wanted. Way to go Raj. I absolutely hate pressure sales. If you feel that way too and want to purchase a vehicle contact Raj at Klein Honda. He was honest, straight forward and we did not feel pressured into buying anything. We felt he was extremely knowlegedable and answered all our questions. He even stayed beyond closing time to close the deal. I cannot say the same about the finance person we dealt with. But I guess you have to put up with those guys no matter wherever you go. more

I stopped in last weekend after looking for a considerable amount of time online. I decided to go to Klein honda because their website looked a lot more informative, and I felt it gave me a pretty good sense of the place. I was a bit hesitant to go car shopping by myself, as I am a younger female, and I was strongly cautioned against it by my family and friends. When I arrived I was introduced to Raj, my salesman who was very kind, and I was quite relieved. He was very knowledgeable and listened to my thoughts, concerns, and easily answered all of my questions. I left with a new car, and a sense of independence and accomplishment. I am very thankful to have had Raj as my salesperson, and I love my new car. more

We were here to buy my sister a car, she had a rough time deciding on one but, they toured us around several times and helped us choose the perfect one. We were assisted by Lai and Jared. They seemed more like friends than employees. They offered us many beverage and snacks. Even when I turned down their offers, they still proceeded to give us some. They were very polite, and they treated us just like friends. While staying there I got hot chocolate, apple juice, and some snacks. And that was just me; my parents and sister were given snacks too. We even got to watch premium comcast t.v. while waiting for my dad to finish the paper work. They had many toys for kids, and we were allowed to use the computers with internet access, which I'm using to write this review. I hope when it's my turn to get a car, they'll still be here to serve us. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. more

After doing some online research about car dealers, my wife and I decided to try Klein Honda. We were concerned about getting an honest sales person and having a good experience. We weren't disappointed. We worked specifically with Jared Stockdale and he was great. He was patient with all our questions and we felt like he was really trying to make the pruchase a good deal for everyone. He found us the car we wanted (and it was exactly that) and worked with us to navigate the transaction. When we had some last second concerns, he patiently helped us work through them. Jared stayed late with us to complete the transaction. He even followed up with us a week later to make sure we were totally satisfied! All in all, a great purchase experience. We will be going back. more

My wife and I stopped into Klein Honda over the past weekend and ended up purchasing a 2011 Odyssey. We worked with Jared Stockdale during the negotiation and transaction and departed very happy with the purchase. Jared was friendly, relaxed and gave us plenty of room to make our own decisions. When we asked questions he didn't know the answers to, he simply and honestly said so...instead of making up an answer on the spot to better sell the vehicle. Being a woman it can be tough out shopping for vehicles especially with so many lots and salespeople to deal with. The best experience that I have had was with Nate Cosman at Klein Honda. I recently went to Klein Honda to find a new civic and was greeted promptly and proffesionally by a salesman named Jared. He wasn't pushy and treated me like a friend. He answered all my questions and didn't brush me off when I told him I wasn't gonna buy today. I just purchased a vehicle from them today. The experience was overall a good one. By far what stood out was Jared Stockdale, our Sales rep. I am one who is usually a skeptic and don’t trust half of what any salesman has to say but, in this case I felt Jared was upfront, honest and laid back enough to make the situation confortable but still professional. If you are in the market for a vehicle, you should take the time to see him. We even at one point left to compare what he was offering to another dealership. We still came back to buy from him, due to not getting near the same service or, of course, price. I rarely write reviews or even recommend someone unless they are exceptional. I actually happen to purchase my vehcicle a little while ago from Nate Cosman. But when I was in the market for one he did a great job in dealing woth listening to what my wants were and finding a vehicle that happen to just do that. Still to this day he still does follow up calls to check in and see how everything is. I would highly reccomend him and this dealership to anyoner looking for a used car! more
