Had 3 estimates, and decided on Hawthorne (also had a referral). The old saying you get what you pay for, well Hawthorne was the highest bid, but happy I chose you, professional install, to code. will refer to others in need, and if plumbing needed in future will call Hawthorne. Ian was a fantastic technician give him a raise. more

Returning customer! I absolutely recommend!! 8/31/2016

I have used Hawthorne Plumbing Heating & Cooling several times over the last few years and every time it is such a pleasure! They are always very nice and friendly, and the gentleman who came to the house remembered me from when I had a water heater replaced! I really liked that and it made me feel valued and respected as a customer. In my opinion, it's that kind of customer service that really separates them from the rest of the industry. Overall, it was absolutely a 5 star experience across the board! more

Very expensive 8/29/2016

Hawthorne Plumbing Heating & Cooling fixed a leak in the fresh water pump out in the front yard. They cleaned up after themselves pretty well. They didn't put it back absolutely perfectly, but I had told the young man to fill in the hole and he left it like I wanted it to be left. I knew that there was a $59 charge, but he didn't give me an absolute total until it was done. I was taken aback because he had done an hour's worth of work. However, he had done the work and I was not going to get in an argument with him. It's not his business. I don't think I would use them again because of the price. The price was way too high for what he did. He was there for less than an hour, and I would rate the work highly, but the price was still ridiculous. more

Fantastic Service! 8/24/2016

My ac was giving me problems and would not turn off. So I started looking for a company to help me fix the problem with my ac. I was scared to trust someone who I never met to fix it . Well when I was looking for a good company to help Hawthorne ac came up with some other companies in my area that could help. Well I decided to call them and boy I'm glad I did. They sent out a wonderful man named Bryan T ... I think that's his name lol. Well from now on he will be called if I have anymore problems with my ac. Love the company great customer service he was very understanding of my situation. I did not have the money to replace my ac and I know it needs to be replaced with a new one. Bryan was able to get it going with fixing a switch at a reasonable price and for that I'm great full. So with that being said go to Hawthorne for any ac problems. Thank so much Bryan T. more

Always a positive experience. 8/23/2016

A few years ago Hawthorne replaced my entire Heating and Cooling system, the service was exceptional, the techs are professional and pleasant, I also purchase yearly their maintenance package and I never have to worry, or remember to have it checked, Hawthorne calls me and to schedule an appointment to make sure all is working 100%. I have recommended Hawthorne to several of my friends and family all are equally pleased with the service, and level of professionalism. more

Excellent and thorough work. 8/21/2016

Russ did a complete and thorough job getting my hot water gas heater up to code. He adjusted the angles and connections on the gas line to allow room for the heater to sit flush and now it looks like a million bucks. more

When I called for a plumber the person who answered the phone, Mercedes, was very friendly, informative and helpful. We had a plumber at our house in just a couple of hours. He was very professional, knowledgeable and fixed our problem quickly. I would highly recommend Hawthorne to all my friends and family. Thanks so much for making this such an easy process!!!! more

Jake, the tech from Hawthorne Plumbing Heating & Cooling, was very helpful and informative. He did a whole hot-water heater flush and explained certain parts of the system, in terms of different things that could go wrong in the future and what we need to be aware of. And, their response was very, very quick: we called, they answered, and that was that. We responded to a postcard they mailed out and it was nice, as we got a discount because we are seniors. We also bought a one-year service contract after paying for the heater flush because we were pleased with their work and responsiveness. The price for the one-year service contract was reasonable, and Hawthorne Plumbing Heating was great. We will definitely use them in the future. more

Hawthorne Plumbing is how companies were. Thorough, courteous, they tell you what your options are, what the plan is, what the cost is. No surprises. No drama. Just good hard work, clean up is like they never busted. The office staff is always professional and makes you know from the first contact with Hawthorne - these are pros. more

Hawthorne Plumbing Heating & Cooling is my go-to service company. Most recently the technician who came to my home was very knowledgeable and he took the time to explain what he was doing to me. I liked this about him in particular as he seemed to care about my satisfaction from the start of the finish of the job. But the best part of the job was their prices which was quite good, and their communication was very solid. I would recommend them for sure! more

water heater repair 8/12/2016

The service man had lots of knowledge on what was wrong. He repaired for the quick fix and gave me a price to replace. Unfortunately the cost was way too high since I was not expecting to spend over $2000. This is most likely the correct pricing. I had to take another avenue to buy a new and install. more

Jake did a great job, with great care and attention to detail. No problem there. 8/11/2016

The appt. was made on Monday for a Wednesday appointment between 8-10 AM. A promise was made that a call would be provided to give a heads-up when Jake was on his way. At 9:50 AM there was still no call, so I called and spoke with Patricia to ask when Jake would be arriving. She didn't know and had to have someone call me back. A short while later I got a call from Jenny who told me that Jake had an emergency call and was running late, that he would be picking up a part and then come to the appointment. It was then about 10:15 AM. Jake arrived at 11:15 AM for the 8-10 AM appointment. My complaint is that I should have received a call before I called at 9:50 AM to give me a heads-up of a late arrival, with a new time frame, and then another call when Jake was on his way. It appears that there was no communication and coordination between dispatch and Jake, which caused my wife and I an inconvenient morning waiting without knowing of the delay until I took the initiative to make the initial call. more

kyle came out for the service agreement on unit advised all was good and signed up for another year klye is the one who installed the unit when purchased through home advisors. he's the one i want to come out when i call good service tech more

To expensive 8/11/2016

The plumber is very knowledgable. He has always been on time. Always respectable. Only problem I have are the prices.. I do know that we must pay for his time, and the company must make a profit, but when we are aware of the prices of the items that he has replaced, the profit is over whelming. Perhaps the company needs to find their moral compass. Thank you in advance for your time. Sharron more
