The thing that I liked the most about the guys over at Hawthorne Plumbing Heating & Cooling is that they did what they said they were going to do. They were very professional and efficient which was nice to see. They showed up on time and they got the job done expeditiously. The prices were very good as well which was nice. I would definitely recommend them to my friends. more

Excellent company. 12/20/2016

We called Hawthorne Plumbing Heating & Cooling because the furnace wasn't coming on for me the first time. Kyle, as always, came out and worked his magic and got the furnace running. We have a lot of respect for Hawthorne and all the folks that work there. Kyle is solid gold. We have recommended them so many times it isn't funny. more

Fast Service and reasonable pricing 12/15/2016

We've used Hawthorne Heating and plumbing for three water heater replacements (this water is rough on water heaters) as well as plumbing issues. We had our last water heater bust on a friday night, I called Saturday morning and was happy to have someone answer, they had a plumber there that morning. We now use them for our annual maintenance so we don't have to replace it for another while. We also called them last week for a plumbing issue and they had someone out that same day. Their prices are also the most reasonable we can find around town and the plumbers are always super friendly and helpful. more

Look elsewhere 12/9/2016

This is not a review of the technician. I have used them three times. I had the same technician the first two times.. He was fantastic. Took his time. Explained things. And I wasn't charged an arm and a leg for the small job he was doing. However, the third time I used them I requested the same plumber since he was familiar with the job. (I was waiting for parts.) They sent someone else. He was nice and cordial. But immediately talked price. He wasn't familiar with the product or job. Although in the end he came through. But I was charged 175.00 to replace a shower handle. I was told he accidentally quoted me the member price. Or it would have been 300.00. Really? Who has a membership with a plumbing company? And 300.00 bucks to replace a shower handle? I felt like I was scammed. The entire experience felt like that. I'm terribly disappointed. Thought I had found a trustworthy company. more

Overpriced estimate.... 12/7/2016

My experience with your company was 59$ for estimate that couldn't possibly be further from fair price.... 40gal water heater costs 485$ in home depot. I got estimate 1495$ for the job. When I asked why it's so much i was told because I don't have straps installed = 4 holes in the wall and straps for 18$ also in home depot..... So pretty much 500$ is water heater and 995$ for little over hour work? NO THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! I wish I never called and saved my 59$ (for some people it's day at work worth... not for me but still i work for my money not cheating people out of theirs by ridiculous estimates....)... By the way got it all done for under 600$..... more

Both Ivan Diaz (Plumbing) and Kyle Cosby (H/Vac) have provided superb service to our Condo the entire time we've been under contract to your company. They always take the time to explain what they're doing and what precautions we must take in case of any problems. Because of their advice, we have purchased several thousand dollars of modern equipment to improve the overall efficiency of our home. more

Very professional from the office personel to the technician I dealt with. Excellent service and quality workmanship. 12/3/2016

We had a water leak outside the house and called Hawthorne plumbing after reading some of their reviews. Showed up the same day to try and located the leak. Was determined it was underneath the casita slab or patio we poured after moving in. Decision was to put in a whole new line from the water meter to the casita and house. After I had a ditch dug from the meter to the house they returned and installed a new water line with shut off valve and regulator. The technician Ivan Diaz was very professional from our first meeting through the entire installation of the new line. I feel like the pricing was fair for what they had to do. Also, I was very impressed with the receptionist I spoke with a few times. Would highly recommend Hawthorne. more

Thorough water heather cleaning, superficial plumbing inspection 12/1/2016

A very friendly plumber and seemingly knowledgeable technician spent a large amount of time to clean the water heater and a very limited time to inspect the rest of the plumbing system. Although most of the plumbing is in excellent condition, one slow drain was missed. The charge for a approx $50.00 rod seems excessif more
