Dealer Direct Transmission & Automotive

I have had my car at three different shops within the last two months for the same problem. I ran across this shop online and thought i would give them a try because they do not charge to check out the problem . They actually checked my car for free! After checking my car Carla called to tell me that all i needed was this little thirty dollar part . I said fix it. Not believing thais would actually fix the problem i decided to risk the thirty dollars. And you know what? three weeks have gone by and my check engine light has not come back on. who knew a thirty dollar plastic tube would fix the problem? I am estatic and reccomend this shop to everyone. more

My Dodge Caravan quit shifting going through Orlando. I called this shop and they towed me off the side of the freeway. I thought I needed a new transmission and thankfully I just needed a transmission solenoid. They took very good care of me and were very honest. more

After breaking down in Orlando on my way back to Atlanta . I needed to find a shop that i could trust. I contacted Dealer Direct on East Colonial and they sent a tow truck to get me off the side of the road. What i thought was going to be a major repair ended up being a solenoid problem . This shop could have sold me anything as i was at their mercy. But they were honest and got me back on the road within three hours. more

It is obvious that the other two reviews were written by a disgruntled employee or competitor. I just had the transmission rebuilt and Dealer Direct was 2000 dollars cheaper than the dealer,The warranty was better and my car now runs perfect. more

We have been using Dealer Direct for about 3 years. We are an engineering firm and we have a fleet of vehicles. I only go to them periodically for my own vehicle, but it seems like I do not hear any negative things about them from anyone else here. They have not caused us any inconveniences, so we continue to go back. For us, that is the measure. Dealer Direct was very prompt, very courteous, and very direct. They kept us informed about what to expect and what the cost was going to be. I didn't feel like they were trying to get one over on us, and they felt trustworthy. It was my first time using Dealer Direct. They did a master brake cylinder on our Chevy van, and I have been told it is doing very well. more

This was my first time using Dealer Direct. They did my windows and they repaired my transmission. My transmission had a problem and it was shifting real hard. They told me it needed to repaired now before it got worse, and it runs well now. It shifts smoothly. I did notice a bubble in the window tint, but I am pretty satisfied. I put a call into Dealer Direct to fix some body work on the bumper. They were the lowest quote I got. There was over spray on the entire car, and they drove my car around. I am not sure of the mileage, because I didn't record it, but they ran down a 1/4 tank of gas. They kept the car for a week. The bumper just needed some small body work and some paint, and the paint job was sub par. For the money I could understand why the bumper might not look perfect, but I never should have had to do so much other work to get my car looking good again. Both the seat were reclined quite a bit, which means it wasn't just one person diving around, but two. Also, the interior was clean when I dropped the car off, and it was pretty dirty when I got it back. RESPONSE FROM Dealer Direct Transmission and Automotive Repair: The customer was contacted by the owner of Dealer Direct and offered a free complete professional detail. It was also explained to the customer, that our body shop was located at a different address than the one the vehicle was dropped off at, hence the additional mileage on his vehicle. more

This crook will do anything to keep ripping people off . Now his latest scam was to advertise with Citysearch by changing the company name to read Dealer Direct Transmission & Automotive, in stead of Dealer Direct Transmission and Auto Repair. This is the same scum bag, dirt bag, that was chased from Fort Worth Texas because of the same thing that he is doing here in Orlando ripping everybody off, including the Orlando Police Department and the Orange County Government. Now since Tod Ulrich from WFTV channel 9 exposed him, he is trying to hide in whatever way he can, so that he can continue with his dirty tricks of ripping the people of Orlando Florida off. Well Chris Shuler you are a very, very stupid, dumb a__, idiot a__hole, by thinking that you can get over the people of Orlando Florida. You can try to hide, but it will not work for you, because there are people out there that are a lot smarter than you are. You can change your name, the company or your girlfriend, but you will still be the same scumbag thief, and you will still be found no matter how you choose to convert. Now if you think that by changing the company name so that you can have a fresh start with Citysearch, think again, this will not work for the people of Orlando they are a lot more amusingly clever than you are. When you end up in the Orange County Correctional facility, you will have lots of free time to think of more scams, hopefully you will learn the hard way. more

I guess I'm having a hard time with it all, because I've taken my car to Dealer Direct before and had no problems whatsoever. I give it a 3 star rating, only because does anyone ever really have a 5 star experience when they get their car worked on? Nonetheless, I have met Chris Shuler and spoke with him on the phone, both times I had my car worked on. He seemed very genuine to me? I guess the bottom line is you can't really judge a book by its cover, but you certainly can't judge a book by reviews on City Search. Half of these seem fake anyway (both the positive and the negative ones). more

this is actually for (will not give up) I fully agree with you on the whole Chris Shuler deal but really you don't have a @%#*ing clue about the rest. If you havent heard Chris only has 2 shops not three(dumbass) and second mark robin does not work there anymore,(fired , quit????) third thing I wish I had all the spare time in my life that you seem to have in you're(obviously don't have a life) to be able to talk crap about people you don't even know!!! I have an idea , take your car back to dealer direct and let them work on it again(and again and again) so you will have something new to write about @**&ole!!! THANKS PS... I told you that I was not going to stop, until I got my money back and until you have been exposed by the news. By the way how does it feel to have your mug shot on the news for the second time, revealing the real truth about you. You are still lying about not knowing what your mechanics are doing, your are a BIG LIAR, and you know it. Your Manager Mark Robin is also a BIG LIAR, he also know what is going on in all 3 of your shops. You also did not fired any of your mechanics as you stated to Tod Ulrich, I know because when Mark Robin said the same thing to me on 2/9/2010 ( Same day that he gave me a full refund, after I filed my complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs), the same mechanic that worked on my car was still there, even though Mark Robin told me that he was fired. Also how about when you did not applied for the Orange County Business Tax Receipts, until I found out and reported you to the County, then you went and got them after the County served you with papers.
