Ok chris AKA happylady76. Since my review wasn't helpful enough let me point it out to you. YOU ARE DONE. After tonight's special report I hope they put you in cuffs. You're the biggest thief in Orlando and deserve to get locked up for it. You claim you had no clue what was going on in your shop and you're real fast to point the finger, but you are forgetting that all write-ups had to be run by you and you yourself had the final say with what was to be done. You do not realize the amount of bullshit that comes out of your mouth is starting to catch up with you. I personally have witnessed your dedicated personnel painting parts, pulling CE lights, and painting junkyard transmissions. ROFLMAO You had nothing to say when TODD turned the tables on you. Finally you've been exposed! You're a dirty businessman that gives legit businessmen a bad name. Maybe you should have fixed it RIGHT the first time so you wouldn't been in this situation. Taking out check engine lights, painting parts, selling transmission work that's not needed and selling a junk yard transmission claiming that's it rebuilt (cause your builder can't fix it!) You just couldn't quit ripping everyone off. I took my car in for repairs back in October 2009. I was told that I needed a new transmission and given a price. I paid for the work and left my car with them for two weeks. The day after I got the car back, it was still not shifting correctly. I have had it back at least a dozen times for the same problem. Each time I dropped off my car, they had it for 5 to 10 days. They drove it all over town and ran all the gas out of it, one time they even called me wanting gas money. I have been approached by several of their employees stating that no work has been done on my car, and that unlicensed drivers have been allowed to drive my car. They claim to have changed the Transmission, the control module-twice, coils, interment cluster, motor mounts. I have paid a total of 3,502.01. This has been going on for almost a year and I’m stuck with a car and a faulty transmission and no money for repairs. I just got it back Friday after another week, and this morning it is still doing the same thing. more

It was actually a great experience and I was looking forward to having a local repair shop I could count on. I'm having a hard time even believing what I'm reading here - doesn't even sound like the same place!! In any case, I had a good experience with Dealer Direct and will probably go back. more

Not only did they PRICE GAUGED us, FRAUDED us about the work performed, and TREATED us HORRIBLY; THEY ENDANGERED THE LIVES OF ABOUT 60 CHILDREN and THOUSANDS OF DRIVERS in Central Florida (I4 specifically) We never received a completed checklist of the work done to the vehicle in order to comply with the DOT, and they claimed to have made us legal. What would happen if we had an accident or caused an accident on the vehicle with children? How can they charge us for repairs and inspections they did not complete? How can they hold our vehicle hostage? How can they charge $176 for parts they pulled off of another truck and spray painted to make them look new? When the SAME NEW FORD Parts would have been $89.00 How can they charge $320 for 2 new batteries, and $350 to install them? When 2 new batteries at the Ford Dealer were $200 plus $85 for installation. How can they charge $545 for a Re-manufactured starter (that they sold to us as "new") and $350 to install it; when the FORD PART is $243 and $200 to install it? How can they charge $175 for a DOT inspection they did not perform, nor do the repairs for them? How can they even be claiming to be a DOT approved repair facility, and not even have the integrity to realize that they are endangering the lives of children by not completing the required work to pass the inspection? My goal by writing to you is to shed some light and into what they are doing to unsuspecting clients who might not have the ability to consult with a mechanic and get ripped off by them. Also they claim to have a contract with the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and FHP for their vehicles, so they are probably cheating them as well, and by default stealing from the people and the taxpayer’s dollars. I have written documentation that supports these statements. more

I was in Orlando 6/28/10. My alternator went out on my car, which was under an extended warranty..Not knowing the area I had my car towed to Dealer Direct. I was told that the battery was also bad. The alternator & battery were to be replaced. On 6/29/10 my car was suppose to be ready by 3:00pm & someone was suppose to pick me up..I waited almost 3 hrs & no one came..I was able to get a ride to the shop & pick up my car..I had to pay $303.out of pocket,besides what the warranty covered.. While driving my car in Jacksonville (where I live)..the car began doing the same thing it did in Orlando.. I was able to get the car to Duval Ford here in town.. According to the Ford dealer the alternator had never been changed (the bolts had not been touched & the original alternator was still on the car). Since the warranty co. Had already paid Dealer Direct for an alternator they would not pay again..leaving the entire bill of almost $600.to be paid out of my pocket. Not only did Dealer Direct,Chris, rip me & the warranty company off but left me stranded AGAIN.. Now trying to get the money back from Chris...No luck so far.. WARNING BEWARE WATCH OUT DANGER Out of town customer, whom flew into Orlando to conduct business with Chris Schuler aka Dealer Direct. Waited at Airport for over 3 hours to be picked up. When I arrived at the location, Chris Schuler was in hiding somewhere who knows where? Making a long story short the expierence was a NIGHTMARE!
