Technician installed units. One of them was not cooling/heating. Not satisfied with follow-up customer care that was provided.

Great experience with Champion Air 4/30/2015

My AC was approaching 15 years old...Had been serviced by others and when the AC unit failed, the service company dropped the ball.. We contacted Champion Air and they came immediately with professional people who gave me multiple options and showed me faults of previous repairs that were not to standard. We chose Champion for a complete new install and they were prompt and efficient. Happy with the unit and Champion Air Thanks Tim and Mike and Ike! more

The total experience has been 5-stars. Outstanding customer focus and service. Champion AC understands service after the sale. From the very start before deciding to purchase our new replacement HVAC unit, Chris Stokes (sales) provided an informative and unbiased presentation of information. His previous experience as a service tech was a great plus. This is a no pressure sales. Chris gave you all the info needed to make your own informed research, comparisons, and final decision. The old HVAC system demo and removal and new HVAC installation was outstanding. The demo and install team was professional and respectful. The follow up and Spring service accomplished today was easy to schedule and completed in a professional and timely manner. Jonathan the service tech was personable and professional. stellar installers 3/24/2015

We ended up needing to replace our 20 year old system. After deciding on a unit, the installers arrived the next morning. My husband and I were very pleased at the professional and courteous greeting. They visually inspected to confirm the photos the technician sent to them. They answered our questions and began work. Jason and Chris worked together like a well oiled machine. We felt very at ease with this crew, and would even welcome them back to a BBQ! Several other guys stopped by to either haul away our old equipment or something. Each one introduced himself and was very friendly. I really appreciated the care and integrity both men took with my home and new unit. RESPONSE FROM Champion AC: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Champion AC. Top notch, amazing service!!!! 3/5/2015

Champion AC was by far the best company we have worked with to date. My family has special considerations such as asthma, allergies, etc and Champion helped us choose the best system to cater to our needs based on our budget. They were very courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. Their installation service was fast and efficient. The technicians also educated us on the intricacies of the system and the best way to maintain them. They were even kind enough to answer our 7 year old son's questions. I will recommend this service to all my friends and family. more

Courteous and Informative 3/2/2015

I just had repairs performed by Shawn and he was courteous and very professional. He explained everything to me completely and I felt well informed about what repairs were needed. Even though he had to leave to get a particular part, he was still fast and the service was complete in no time. Shawn went out of his way to keep my family and our schedule in mind when planning out the repair. I have always had wonderful experiences with Champion AC (I've been using them for over 3 years) but Shawn was especially pleasant to deal with. more

Exceptional 2/28/2015

This company has the customer service we all dream about and is rare these days. From the first phone call, a pleasant human voice within one ring (Julie), to scheduling and onsite in the same morning within 2 hours. Jonathan, the service technician was outstanding to say the least. He was knowledgable, he gave me options, he was a great communicator, and a great man. I am in the residential remodeling business so I work with these types of companies and simply put I will say, I was very, very impressed. Thank you all. I highly recommend your company. more

Shawn was very kind and courteous during his visit. He was helpful and fixed damaged wiring on the thermostat. He showed me a picture of the units on the roof which no one has ever done before. Thank you! I will recommend to anyone who needs HVAC service or repair. more

Outstanding and not over sold! 2/11/2015

We had trouble with one of our units almost annually when the temperatures got cold. Our downstairs unit would always freeze over. I called Champion and they sent a tech out and made some bandaid fixes...it was what we wanted to do as we thought there was still life left in the unit (10 years old). After a couple try's we determined that the coils were bad and leaking. Ultimately Jon Weixel had Chris Stokes come over and we all discussed options. While they were here they found an improper duct system that has plagued our home since we purchased it 10 years ago!! We ultimately had one system replaced by Ralph and Jose. They too were very good and spent the entire day at our home so we could have heat that night. Thanks to the entire team. To include the customer service reps as they called every time a team was on the way so I could minimize sitting and waiting at home for 4-8 hours like some companies do. When our other system fails we will call Champion. more

Shawn Goerndt, The furnace has been working fine the last two nights since you came to do repairs to one of our units. Kudos to you! U DA CLEANER! U DA CLOSER! U DA MAN!!!! Shawn did an Outstanding job with results that met all my expectations!!! Shawn was professional, courteous, knowledgeable and focused. As a result of Shawn's outstanding work, I now know I made the right choice choosing Champion AC from a sea of other AC competitors. 5 stars--Excellent overall experience 1/19/2015

Our heat pump suddenly stopped working during a cold night last week. I did quick research on 3 well known San Antonio companies before selecting Champion to make a service call. I almost never write reviews--good or bad--- but my overall experience with Champion was excellent ranging from the initial contact on the phone (very courteous and more important than many companies think), and the service technician (Shawn) who did an outstanding job of explaining the options and the best solution for a replacement heat pump for our house, to the installation team (Roland and Joe) who arrived very promptly, worked hard to make sure the new heat pump was up and running that day, explaining how to operate the new unit and taking care to protect the floors, etc. during the installation. The Champion team earned a 5 star rating based on my experience with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of service. more

People! You need to know that Shaun & John are amazing! They came right in and figured out the problem that a competing company had caused, provided payment options and saved my freezing house and transformed it to become a warm home again! I am signing up for a maintenance contract to make sure Champion takes care of me from now on! more

PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL,EXCELLENT SERVICE 1/9/2015

I RECENTLY HAD PROBLEM WITH MY AC/HEAT PUMP UNIT. JOHN WEIXEL CAME AND RESCUED US FROM THE COLD. NEXT DAY JASON AND CHRIS CAME OVER AND REPLACED THE OUTSIDE UNIT. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT ON WHAT THEY'RE DOING. OVERALL, I GIVE THUMBS UP TO ALL THE STAFF FROM ANSWERING THE PHONE FOR MAKING APPOINTMENT UNTIL THE JOB IS DONE. more

trustworthy friendly service 1/1/2015

Jon and his team installed a new heater in my home recently. I've had several other companies out to try and fix the heater. I felt like they were all taking advantage of my lack of knowledge about the system, and they all tried to sell me expensive units. Jon tried a few inexpensive fixes and made sure I understood the system and had all the information I needed to make a decision whether to keep trying for repair or move forward with replacement. He didn't pressure me either way and seemed genuinely interested in me making the choice I would be happy with. Ultimately I chose replacement, and he helped me choose the right unit for my home, which ended up being one of the least expensive units. I never felt pressure to buy beyond my means or to get extras I didn't need. Every person I interacted with, on the phone and in person, was respectful and helpful. The service team moved my furniture carefully and swept up the floor on the way out so when they were finished it was like they had never been there - except the house was nice and warm on one of the coldest nights this year. Service was fast too. I called for service one day and had a new heater the next. I'm a new customer and now a loyal customer. Thanks Champion AC! more
