We had trouble with one of our units almost annually when the temperatures got cold. Our downstairs unit would always freeze over. I called Champion and they sent a tech out and made some bandaid fixes...it was what we wanted to do as we thought there was still life left in the unit (10 years old). After a couple try's we determined that the coils were bad and leaking. Ultimately Jon Weixel had Chris Stokes come over and we all discussed options. While they were here they found an improper duct system that has plagued our home since we purchased it 10 years ago!! We ultimately had one system replaced by Ralph and Jose. They too were very good and spent the entire day at our home so we could have heat that night. Thanks to the entire team. To include the customer service reps as they called every time a team was on the way so I could minimize sitting and waiting at home for 4-8 hours like some companies do. When our other system fails we will call Champion.
