Felt very comfortable with Aaron, polite and courteous. Very professional and honest.

Worst

Technician installed units. One of them was not cooling/heating. Not satisfied with follow-up customer care that was provided.

I’ve worked with this AC repair company in San Antonio a few times since I moved here. It was the first AC repair Company I found, but I was really satisfied with their prices and expertise so I decided to stick with them. They’ve given me great service for several years now. more

Champion AC has been handling all of my air conditioning almost since they opened in San Antonio. They have a very nearby location so they can usually come out pretty quickly. I’ve also always been satisfied with the prices for their services. Very fair. more

I always choose 8/20/2013

I always choose champion because of the high level of expertise they have when it comes to older machines. Some AC repair companies in San Antonio won’t even look at my unit since it’s so old. Champion seems to know just what to do to get it to work. more

WE ARE TOTALLY AMAZED! 8/19/2013

We called Champion after another comany was guessing at what our problem was. Fernando came in and diagnosed our problem with professionalism and knew what he was talking about and showed us the proof. No guess work at all! Victor and Mike came in for the install with the same knowledge, efficiency and professionalism! Charles the General Manager even came out to make sure all of our concerns we satisfied, these guys went above the the NORM! If you call anyone else, you've made a major mistake for sure! OUTSTANDING FROM START TO FINISH!!!!!!!! 8/17/2013

From my initial call to Champion A/C 2 days ago, to the GREAT team of Mike and Victor who just left after the install, THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I spoke personally to Ben Hubbert (Owner)to set of the appointment who was VERY professional over the phone and told me some one from the office would call within a few minuets. Ben Ratterree was our salesman. He was 15 minuets early (I LIKE THAT) and was professional very kind and took his time to explain all the facts about different A/Cs. He is really a great guy. Finally the technicians. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They showed up right when the office said the would. (I received a courtesy call the morning of installation. I LIKE THAT TOO) They were Victor and Mike. A parts runner Mike was also on site for the initial setup/drop off of parts. He was nice too. Victor and Mike were fast ,efficient, professional and took extra time to explain the unit and at the end of the installation, the walked over with me information on everything they did. They did a fantastic job from start to finish. That is ONE GREAT TEAM!!!!!!!! Overall.............CHAMPION A/C are the BEST IN SAN ANTONIO. They also take care of the military by offering a discount. OUTSTANDING!!!!!! more

This is my favorite air conditioning repair company in San Antonio. I’ve only tried a couple of them out, but the treatment I get here is so much better than all the places that I’ve tried around the city. They are always friendly. more

My Champion AC repairs have always been really impressive. My system is bad and tends to fail in the most catastrophic ways when it goes down. They’re always able to fix it without too much trouble. more

Fast Service 8/15/2013

We called Champion A/C because our a/c was freezing up and the house was getting hot. Tommy came out within about 3-4 hours of our call and helped solve our problem. Our freon was leaking and running low. Tommy was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and was very helpful with information. He was very courteous and would definitely recommend. more

After hours AC troubleshooting 8/11/2013

Called Champion after I was told nobody was available with 4 other companies to repair my AC. Rene showed up ready to go and diagnosed my problem within 5 or so minutes. He was very professional and respectful and ended up replacing my thermostat along with providing a full service to the unit. I didn't expect him to go above and beyond but he was happy to. We will definitely be using Champion again in the future. more

This is the second time I have called them out (different issues). Both times they did offer additional services but they didn't pressure me into them. This time they sent Rene to help me and he was great at working with me to find the solution I could afford. more

Company response and then Jason & Chris were awesome 8/7/2013

Our home a/c went out in the morning ... It was a 104 degree day ... It was sweltering... Within 4 hours we had a Champion Technician! Our 24 year old a/c died! Today, the next day, a NEW energy saving machine was installed and working great. Chris and Jason were diligent, attentive and anticipated our needs; their concern was remarkable. They were very friendly and professional in every way. I was impressed with their expertise and their ability to improve our situation. They left everything clean and spotless with all debris taken away. My wife and I were very pleased with their service work and with them as outstanding technicians. Thank you and Thank them. more

Amazing service! 8/6/2013

These guys were freaking awesome! Chris and Jason were professional and worked quickly. They were so funny and very helpful with everything. I highly suggest requesting these two to fix your ac or heater. They cleaned up very well and did not mind the dogs pestering them while they worked. Two thumbs up! more

A/C out on a Sunday!!! 8/4/2013

We had our A/C go out on a Sunday! We are still fairly new to San Antonio and had no idea who to call. I looked up A/C repair and chose Champion A/C. First person who took my call was very nice and attempted to talk me through simple fixes in an attempt to keep me from having to do an expensive service call for Sunday! To no avail, we had to call in some help. Our technician was Rene. He did great. He explained everything he was doing and kept the repair process simple. We had a capacitor go out. He showed me the specs for the capacitor on the unit and then tested the old to show how it was no longer working. At no time did I feel that he was trying to run up an expensive bill. Great service, courteous through our entire process. Will definitely recommend and use Champion A/C again. more

I had a small army of local repair men look at my broken central air system. I had three new compressors installed before I called champion. should have called them first. Gerald figured out, and repaired, the problem in minutes. I will call them first from now on. more
