We were in need of service on a Sunday & decided replacement would be better than fixing an old unit. The tech went over options & we chose the new system. Monday morning the installers were here pronptly. They were courteous & answered all our questions. The new unit is wonderful. I will continue to use Champion. more

We called Champion after our AC went out. They scheduled us right away and showed up right on time. Alex was able to find the problem in less than 10 minutes. He was not pushy on selling additional services (which I really appreciated). I feel the value was very good and the service was excellent. Alex was very professional and knowledgeable. First we called John Wayne. JW was quick and professional- no complaints there. Their prices were high for installing a new AC unit. They only carry Carrier and the price for our house size varied from $9,000 to $14,000. We called Champion for a second opinion and pricing for replacing a new AC unit. I didn't give them any info from JW as I wanted to compare their suggestions and pricing. They sell Carrier, Trane, Lennox, and Amana. They recommended Amana with full parts and labor warranty for 10 years because Amana has aluminum foils that don't rust whereas, all others do including Carrier and Trane, and their customers frequently call them for repairs on these other models. Needless to say, we had an Amana 16 seer installed for $3,000 less than what was quoted by JW. It only took about 3 hours for two men to come and install. They did a very thorough job and we couldn't be more pleased! 10 years parts and labor can't be beat either. more

Today is the second time in a month that we had to call about our air conditioner and we got the same technician both times. Richard came out on Father's Day and fixed our unit and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He got us up and running very quickly although the problem was a very serious one. Well, today the air broke again but it wasn't due to anything he had done. He came out- figured out what was wrong and went above and beyond what he was required to do! I can't thank him and Champion AC enough! If I could give him more than 5 stars I would! Thank you and God Bless! more

Roy from Champion AC is my new hero! After suffering through a week of a heat wave in San Antonio, I called Champion AC for help. They sent Roy out, and before he left 30 minutes later, I could already feel my house getting cooler! Not only did he fix my AC, but he was also courteous and knowledgeable. He even put booties on over his shoes, so he wouldnt scuff my tile floors! I have to say, I had some AC trouble a couple of years ago when I first moved into my house. It took the company that installed my AC unit FOUR service calls to fix the problem. This time I called Champion AC, and they fixed it in 30 minutes. Champion is now my go-to company for AC service. more

The service was excellent! The rep called and showed up early. The repair took less than 30min total time. The service person pinpointed the problem within minutes. He clearly explained the work and the total cost of repair. The shop called me at the end of the day to make sure we were comfortable and happy with all the work preformed!! Companies just don't do that anymore!!...and NO, I did not get paid to endorse Champion. more

We contacted the company to come out and inspect our A/C units as preventive maintenance. The company was advertising a summer special for $49.00 per unit inspection. The overall inspection was quick and thorough. The repairman was friendly and knowledgeable. The company would have received an Excellent rating, but the repairman forgot his ladder and had to use ours. Also the week after our unit was serviced, the company started advertising another summer special at $39.00 per unit. more

The technician that came to service my unit is Brandon, who was most professional and very thorough in his analysis, recommendations for improvement, and taking care of the immediate issue. What I am not very happy about is the fact that I bought my AC unit a year ago, and just in the first few months of being installed, the unit went out three different times. The problems stemmed from faulty wiring at the unit by the first couple of installers and service men. Brandon was the last of the three last year and had not had a problem since then until last night. Again, a part had to be replaced only after one year. I paid $7,000 for the unit so as to get a decent unit that would last a long time. I still owe $5,000 on it and I've had problem after problem. While Brandon was most understanding and apologetic and professional, it is not his fault that your company has sold me a "lemon", for lack of a better word. I did not express my dissatisfaction to Brandon to this degree, as I was simply happy that in a 100 degree night he was able to fix it and I was too tired to complain to him when this was not his fault, but the company's as a whole. I will tell you now, however, that if I have one more problem with this unit, I will have no choice but to demand a brand new unit. Last night I signed up for your Blue Club membership just to make sure that any problems that may surface are not as a result of negligence on my part. I would appreciate a call back from one of your owners so that I can relay my dissatisfaction. I will not stop from reporting this to the BBB, as anyone would with the problems I've experienced. I'm a small business owner myself and I'm expected to deliver exceptional customer service and quality products. If I fail to do that, then shame on me for not delivering on my promises. I believe that Champion AC has a good reputation and it's the reason why I came to you to begin with, but this is totally unacceptable! This guy is not only a great AC guy, but a great person as well.\r \r He arrived at the house an hour and a half after I called Champion AC and he couldn't have been more professional. I had Champion AC come out to do a service tune-up last week. Within a week our AC wasn't working. I called them and they came out the same day. They found that my copper wires were rubbing together and had caused a leak, making us loose our freon. Champion AC covered the cost of the repair and fixed the issue as well as replacing the freon. I'm very impressed with our service tech Richard, and for the company in taking care of customers. They deserve 10stars. Customer for life. :) more
