I have been getting my eyelashes done for a year and a half now. LOVE, LOVE them!! I love Lejen too!! I would love to get my hair done and colored as well, but have to say it is a little pricey!! Anyway, I just received the keychain card you now have for keeping points or something along those lines, with how much you spend. I am dissappointed however, that I found out you have had this for a year and cannot add my past purchases on! I have been there quite a bit and think it would only be fair to add any back amount on...maybe not all of it, but some. I wish I knew about the card a year ago!! more

I hadn't been to Rumor's for a while as my stylist had left. When I called to make an appt w/a new one, I explained to the receptionist that I had previously paid $60 and wished to stay in that price range. That's why, upon checking out, I was fully taken by surprise when I was told that the charge for my cut was $100. With the salon being extremely busy, it was obvious this was not the time to discuss. I emailed Lisa Nosgrove and explained my situation of noting my price limit for a haircut when making the appointment and what I was told. Without any hesitation whatsoever, she personally phoned me with empathy and immediately offered to reimburse the difference.Her professionalism, concern and action says it all. While Rumors may be higher priced than many salons, they are not only skilled stylists but are understanding and treat you as family. There's no putting a price tag on that. more

I have occasionally strayed from Rumors to "try another salon" but I have never been satisfied. I love Rumors! I love my stylist Danielle. She is professional,caring and on the cutting edge of current trends. I have my hair cut and colored. I has never looked better! Thank You, Rumors! more

Not happy with the cut. I have had more than one cut with the beautician and I honestly get a better cut with Fantastic Sams. My hair has been cut with sides uneven and it is choppy. The color is okay. more

i do not go to salons so i had no idea what to expect especially doing a bridal cuz i was also a first time bride. but i felt so comfortable with the make up artist n hairdresser i was assigned. they listened to me and wanted nothing more to help me achieve my vision and i really aprciated that. they were also easy to talk to. thanks for the great experiance! more

My stylist, Kristine is the the best. She is expericed and gets to know her clients so she can give constructive advice that suits your style and face. I bring my kids there too and they always make them feel special; plus the cut and style are only $20! more

My hair is color treated and very difficult to manage at times - finding a salon/hairstylist who can provide me with a nice style that's easily to manage is often hard to find. I'm so glad I booked an appointment with Rumors -it's a great place to go, whether you're wanting something new or a simple update. The staff will make you look better (and feel better) than ever before! I left the salon feeling revived and confident, positive that I would return. I'm looking forward to visiting again - everyone at Rumors was fun and personable, and the atmosphere was energizing after a long day at the office. Thank you for caring of my experience at your salon, for that fact alone and the fact that Betina Mammone is a fantastic hair stylist, I am giving an average rating, otherwise, it would have been not as favorable. after being sent 6 emails confirming my appointment at 6pm,I called to ask if there was anyway to be seen a bit earlier. Your staff could not find my appointment until 7pm. This was strange to me due to how many confirmations I had recieved, They did accomodate me after waiting 10 minutes on the phone and made my appointment for 4pm. I was thankful, however Betina was confused,she had me down now for only a hair cut, not color with the new time. Of course Betina being the ultimate professional, said, no problem, she would do color as well. What she meant is her assistant would do it. Her assistant was lovely however after almost 2 hours of application and processing, I was still at your salon until 6pm before my 15 minute haircut with Betina. I appreciate a busy business, I am a business owner myself and relish in a busy atomoshphere. Busy is one thing,chaos is another. This is the 3rd time I have tried to use your salon all different years and stylists but still the same belief, you are too expensive for an atmosphere of a mall. Sorry, I won't be back...love Betina and wish her much success as do I for you in your expansion. more

Frankly, I have been a loyal customer since 2002. Highlights, color and cut every time. Initially, I loved this salon, but have weathered two bad renovations and a tremendous price increase. It got to the point, that despite the fact I was happy with my hair-the question remained "at what cost". One can only expect that the new salon construction costs will be subsequently transferred in some aspect to clients. When you are approaching the $300, it is really pushing it. $90 for a haircut is ridiculous. I loved Rumors, but feel that the owners have lost perspective. It is now a tremendously busy, stressed-out atmosphere which will cost you dearly-check your prices first. For those of you who were customers of Amber Nieckarz, she is now at Carleen's in Latham. Same great Goldwell products, same expertise, beautiful salon- relaxing and less expensive! more

The service was great. Being able to share the service with my girl friend was nice too. The long was I thought I asked for a mini pedi not a spa pedi. I was trying to save money. I did ask for a mini pedi, but the service changed. more

I had another great experience at Rumors on Sat. I saw the aesthetician Kira for the first time and I was very pleased. She was very nice, professional and knowledgeable! If you are in need of a facial, waxing, eyelash extensions or a make-up application, I would highly recommend Kira from Rumors! more
