I've been coming to Rumors for about 2 years; my last year and a half has been with Erin. She was recommended to me by your receptionist when my last hair dresser had left the salon and I have to say I could not be happier! Erin is always friendly, flexible and provides an outstanding service. She knows exactly what she is doing, all I need to do is sit in the chair I put 100% trust in her. more

Haven't been this happy in a while 10/24/2011

Everything about Rumor's is top notch. I was offered a consultation and complimentary service when I first stopped in. I have been going to high end salons all of my life and this was never offered. When I came for the complimentary blow dry, I was thoroughly impressed. Stylist Crystal delivered a quality service, so I came back and trusted her with a drastic hair cut, something I haven't done in 4 years. I love my new hair cut and will become a regular. more

When the stylist you have made an appointment with is not in that day Rumors should call the customer and let them know. I have requested this many times and it does not happen. It seems stylists are often not in after appointments have been made with them in advance. I don't like being put with someone of Rumors choosing for a service I would like done by a certain person. While the service I had done yesterday was done by someone who did an excellent job it only happened that way because I took a different time slot. more

My stylist is always very attentive. She knows me but never neglects to ask what I want, what I'm going for, if anything has changed. She is very professional and friendly. The staff at the salon as always was courteous and helpful. I'll continue to go here because the service is consistently good and I always leave happy. more

You are a busy mother/sister's dreaam come true. Last weekend, my sister was in town and she decided on satuerday morning of a holiday weekend she wanted a new haircut at the same time my son decided he wannted his school inntial carved into his hair for the last football game. RUMORS TO THE RESCUE. First, you had appointments on a Sunday and I could have the 43 year old sister on one side and my 15 year old son across the street at the same time. They both loved it...both salons had a very welcomming atmoshpere and they loved the cuts. I was also esppecially pleased as my sister is deaf and often has trouble making herself uderstood but Amanda did a great job and my sister was so overjoyed with the cut that she gave Amanda a huge hug>>which made this sister cry! All this happiness and done by 11:00 on a Sunday mornning!!!! Thankyou..you made my day! 1exstaticn haad more

Right On! 10/20/2011

I was a bit nervous about having someone else cut my hair. Having said this, I got the cut I've been trying to get for a while now - went from mid-length layers (very fine, blonde colored hair) to short, textured bob. Kayleigh was extremely helpful and candid when discussing cut beforehand. The cut was actually better than the picture we decided on. Rumors is the place to go for complete satisfaction! more

I had a wonderful experience at Rumors. Lily lightened my hair and gave some great advice on some products to use on my hair as well as some vitamins to use. She is always bubbly, professional and very personable. Can't wait to go back! more

In 2001 I moved to NY from CT. In CT I had a stylist that I loved and had been going to 4ever. I tried a few different people out here but always kept going back to my CT stylist. Till a friend told me to go see Richard a few years back. He is awesome; funny, energetic and I always leave loving my hair. I got tons of compliments on my hair last night at work and I always refer people to Rumors. more

Great Spa AND Style Experience! 10/18/2011

Just had one of the best spa experiences in a long time! Raven is a wonderful massage therapist, and Nico, the RUMORS spa manager, was the facial expert who tended to me. Be sure to take advantage of the serene surroundings and expert, professional care that RUMORS provides our area. Also, Marissa did her usual great job in cutting my hair. Thanks! more

NICO IS THE BEST ESTHETICIAN AND MAKE-UP ARTIST! 10/17/2011

Great Hair Cut 10/17/2011

Ruthie is beyond the greatest hair dresser I had to date. She is such a sweetheart and listened to everything i had to say. I told her i wanted my hair to look fuller. And boy did you do that. My favoirte part was that she took her time to show me how to style my hair myself. LOVE THAT. IF you are looking for a good cut please go see Ruthie..Shes the BEST more
