Lilly is the Best! 5/3/2011

Prior to working with Lilly at Rumors, I did not have a set stylist. She's great. She always asks good questions, answers my questions thoroughly and provides excellent customer service. I trust her completely with my hair and recommend her to my friends. more

Rumors 5/1/2011

Sometimes it's really just too crowded. Sometimes you can't avoid making an appointment during those times. For a basic cut, it may be overpriced. Sometimes the stench of hair products is too strong. But I haven't really found a salon in the area whose staff is as consistently good. more

stylist great, receptionists rude 4/28/2011

I have been going to Rumors for a few years. i really like my stylist snd the fact that she is almost always on time. the staff at reception are a different story though, they are unfriendly and clueless. Shame that they are your first and last impression of the salon because they are poorly trained. more

pedicure 4/28/2011

when i called i asked for the basic pedicure, i was booked for a spa pedicure (twice the price), but of course you don't know that until it's too late. Person that did pedicure was fine but desk staff was harried, confused and not very friendly. Need some serious customer service training! more

cut & color 4/28/2011

Jenn C was amazing as usual and hit the color spot on. I was very nervous about the change but couldnt stop smiling when we got back to her chair after the wash. Also..special thanks to my sweetie Amber for her input. You are both wonderful. Thanks so much. more

Fantastic 4/28/2011

I have used Rumor's since 2000 for my Salon and Spa services and love it. I had my wedding day hair there and lived several years in NY and never found a stylist with the caliber of my stylist that satisfied me. Excellent service, I walk in and see gorgeous women with heels and am greeted warmly and pampered my whole time. I love Rumor's! more

Both my daughter and I had Amber cut our hair and the entire experience with her was outstanding. Amber is the best in cutting hair, taking care of us. I will always go to Rumors for all my hair care needs and my daughter who is 12 is getting to know what a wonderful experince it is at Rumors. more

Awsome experience 4/27/2011

I LOVE my hair! Just had a foil,cut and blowdry by Christine (sp?). She also suggested a Keratine (again sp?) treatment which I am so happy that she did. I finally have the hair I always wanted. Thank you!!! more

I had a very good experience-I felt valued and pampered. You could tell that some of the stylists were on edge, seeing as it was busy, but they were careful not let that show very much. Overall, it was excellent, and I'm definitely going back. more

Hair Cuts 4/24/2011

My daughter and I came in Saturday for a hair cut, i wasn't that satisfied with my hair cut, but my main concern is that i sat while getting my hair cut and watched my daughter gets hers done, the girl didn't talk to my daughter at all! As soon as we got in the car, she started crying and said she never wants to go back because the girl didn't talk to her at all, and she didn't have a good time. I asked when i made the appointment for someone who was good with kids, and i got exactly the opposite. Overall, the experience left us wanting to find another salon. more

The service I received was excellent. However, the checkout was very chaotic. They need to streamline the checkout process and provide a receipt for your payment. I would definitely return again for future service. more

I absolutely love how Ruthie did my hair. I've had nothing but compliments since leaving the salon. She does a great job with the both the cut & styling. She takes her time & makes sure it is perfect. I also love how she can fit me in last minute! more

LOVE LOVE LOVE Marissa!!!! She is really amazing. You leave with not just a haircut but looking like you have a hair do. She is awesome. When you get your haircut you look at your stylists hair and her hair, personality and beauty are all perfect. She also will guide you and not let you do silly quick changes like cutting your bangs. Even my 15 yr old boy will ask to get his hair cut by her. more

Lack of Notification 4/20/2011

Yesterday, after confirming my appointment with you and taking time off work I was very upset when I arrived at the salon to find that I was scheduled with a different stylist who I was not familiar with. With a four hour window between your opening and my confirmed appointment, I feel that I should have been notified that my regular stylist had called in sick giving me the opportunity of having another stylist or rescheduling and saving my work time. I am a 10 year Rumor's client and would expect a phone call or e-mail in this situation as a part of your high standard of service. This however, was not the case and I remain upset over your lack of notification. more

I've been going to Rumors for about a decade now, and I am always pleased! Experienced, friendly stylists and a very classy atmosphere. Even while I was living in Manhattan I would come back up here for my hair appointments! more

Rumors Experience 4/19/2011

I truly enjoy going to Rumors. Not only is the personal attention refreshing, but my stylist (Christine) listens to me. She doesn't try to push needless products, but suggests products that she thinks would help the general "health" of my hair. She is always prompt, which I appreciate with my busy schedule. Rumors is a wonderful experience. more
