Haircut was a tad short 5/23/2011

I think my haircut was too short and it is hard to fix now. I will be using the complimentary wash and style I received when I left. Justin was a reall nice fellow, but I need to go back to learn how to do it myself. Thanks, Geraldine DePaul more

Nikki did a wonderful job of cutting and coloring my hair. I have a monthly appointment with her and will continue to do so. She is a very nice person and tries to please her clients. more

Great Experience 5/19/2011

I was impressed with the overall experience I had at Rumors yesterday. I was checked in promptly at the front desk and offered a drink, then my stylist came out almost immediately. She was a sweetheart, listened carefully to what I wanted. Unlike many experiences elsewhere, she actually went ahead and did EXACTLY what I wanted and my hair came with a light blond highlight that most stylists can't get on my dark hair - ends up brassy looking. I felt like a million bucks. If you get the right stylist the prices are actually reasonable and you still walk out feeling amazing. Ask for one of their mid level stylists... I recommend Dale!! Eyebrow waxing experience was also great with Ariel. Cons: TIGHT quarters/too many ppl on top of you - but I heard that they are moving to a larger location more

Recent Experience 5/12/2011

Excellent experience from start to finish. I was consistenly offered a refreshment, and asked if I needed anything. My stylist Melanie is wonderful, always takes time to ask exactly what I want and she delivers. Assitants were very friendly and got me refills on my coffee, and magazine while I waited for color. Great experience, would recommend Rumors more

Stylists Fabulous! Front desk could use some work 5/11/2011

I LOVED my hair cut and color with Lilly. She always does an amazing job and is so sweet. Kira did a great job with my eyebrows and was a sweetheart as well. My only complaint is the last two times I've been there, the front desk ladies seem a little arrogant and not very nice. Sometimes I have questions or just want to understand the rewards program or something like that and they are kinda mean and make me feel stupid. I wish that part of the experience could be better because I love Rumors otherwise (and the complementary color change on my nails was such a nice perk!) more

Great service, a bit pricey 5/8/2011

Amanda is our stylist and I can't say enough good things about her. She offers suggestions without being pushy. She does tend to run late often so I do usually build in extra time for myself when making appts. with her. She has done waxing and makeup in the past for my daughter and did a beautiful job. She is the reason we continue to stay - due to the prices, we would leave if she left. I also had Nico for the first time for waxing and she was really professional and gave great suggestions/info. without being pushy. This is the first time I've come into the salon and felt like the receptionists were welcoming. In the past, most of the receptionists gave the impression of being pretty impressed with themselves. more

I just have to comment about my recent experience at Rumors. I had an appointment with Ruthie but was really tight with my time due to an unexpectant death in my family. I have to say that Ruthie took care of the situation in the utmost professional way possible making my appointment as quick as possible. I must add the entire staff was helpful due to situation with checking me in and out and taking care of everything efficiently. Thank you Rumors you are the GREATEST! more

My experience was excellent and they make you feel as though you are one of their family and not just another number. I was very impressed as I watched the hair dresser redo a woman's hair until she was satisfied with the outcome. Very personable!!! more
