Worst

The plumber came to our house in providence to snake our outgoing sewer pipes.\r He was able to get a flow, but said we needed to replace all the pipes out to the street.\...

EXCELLENT SERVICE AND RESPONSE TIME 2/14/2011

We recently discovered that we had leak in a pipe in our basement....it was spraying all over the place!!! We immediately called Roto-Rooter and our plumber, Louie, who was on a job at that moment, returned our call right away. He gave us a very reasonable timeframe for when he could get to us, instructed us to turn off the water, and he would call us when he was on the way. He did call us, but unfortunately it was to tell us that the job was running over. No worries though, he had already arranged for another plumber to come in his place and she would be there shortly. And she was. She was very sweet and very knowledgeable, and had the problem taken care of in about 30 minutes. We were very impressed by both of these employees. I do not know of another company where employees take the time to stay in touch and let you know what is happening. more

I was very happy with the service and the effort both technicans displayed. Tech 728 on 1/29/11 and Tech 3377 on 1/8/11. Both plumbers were very professional and work very hard to resolve our issue. more

Roto-Rooter Plumbers 1/31/2011 2/2/2011

Called for service at 4:30 at night due to clogged drains, and Roto-Rooter gave me a service time between 5 and 7 pm. True to their word, the plumber showed up within the given time frame and quickly diagnosed the problem. He provided a great explanation of the problem, and had the drains running within no time. more

I needed a plumber to clear out a blockadge in my main drain line. The service that I recieved was very professional. The service technician #728, Wilson Molina,did and excellent job. He work quickly and was very neat. He left the work area as clean as he found it when he came in. He had come down from Providence to preform the service. more

Excellent, courteous service! 1/26/11 1/27/2011

We called Roto-Rooter to have some routine maintainace done, and it turned out we needed to have serious work done on ou drainage pipes. When Wilson, the service technician came to the house, he was very knowledgable and professional. He made a decision to look at the inside of the pipes with a camera and he found this problem with our pipes,and he actually saved us money! Instead of just putting the product we needed in the pipes he took the initiative to check them out first-Thank you Wilson! We will definatly continue to use this company! more

Jan 4, 2011Sean 3165 came to our house to fix a drain pipe for my washer that Sears messed up and took the part we needed to show Sean. If it wasn't for Sean we wouldn't have our washer running now. He was very pleasent, kind and understood how to fix what was wrong. He figered what to do and did it. Roto-Rooter Plumbers 1-1-2011 1/1/2011

After waiting for 4 days for a local plumber to come fix two leaking faucets, I finally decided to call Roto-Rooter out of the Providence office. From the time of my call on Friday evening on 12-31-2010, I was kept informed of the technician arrival by looking online. When the two hour window was about to expire I received a call from the dispatcher indicating that the plumber was still involved on the last job and could have a plumber out to my home on New Year's Day at no extra charge to fix my problems. I had to have the problem solved before selling the home in the next 3 days and was surprised that the plumber would come on a holiday. Mr. Bill Hughes, the technician, was courteous, professional, a gentlemen at all times. He was honest and fair about what could and could not be done. At the end of the repair, he was about to complete the repairs 100%. I would use Roto-Rooter again based on this experience - especially because of Mr. Bill Hughes. more

Professional Service 12/21/2010

I had a back-up in my basement and immediately called Roto-Rooter in Providence. Wilson and Jim arrived and went right to work. They worked very diligently to clear a blockage in my main waste water line from the house to the sewer. They isolated the blockage...and worked at it for over two hours...but to no avail. They immediately got Joe D., an engineer from Roto-Rooter involved. Wilson and Jim involved me in the whole process of discovery and resolution. These guys really know there stuff and aren't afraid to go the extra mile to try to satisfy. I would gladly call them back for the next plumbing emergency. more

I was surprised and very impressed that the customer service lady took all my information and was able to set me up that very afternoon. A plumber from Providence would be at my home by 1:30 PM.\r She also called later to tell me the plumber would arrive within 30 -45 minutes. The plumber, Jim, arrived exactly within the time! He introduced himself, looked over the plumbing problem, explained to me what needed to be done as well as show me. He gave me an estimate and promptly started the job. I felt very comfortable having him in my home. He was efficient and neat. Continally updated his progress. At the end he ran the camera through our sewer lines, explained how it worked and gave us the outcome. also spent time with my husband to locate the connection to the sewer. The estimate was exactly as he quoted. I did have a coupon from the web site that he honored as well as leaving us with drain cleaner and instructions. Nasty Business 12/14/2010

On Sunday 12-12-10 my shower wouldn't drain. The water was brown and muddy about 4" deep. I called Roto Rooter in Providence, RI. A technician (Terry Donahue) came as fast as possible. It was very dark out and pouring rain. Terry assessed the situation and determined the septic line need to be to be cleared from the outside. Within minutes Terry was lying on the ground with his head in the septic tank rooting out the line. I was very grateful to see that nasty water go back were it belonged. more

Had a clog in my sewer system/ plumber problem and Jim from Roto-Rooter in Providence came the next morning he did a wonderful job and in a few hours everything was back to normal. I was very thankful for the quick and prompt service. more

Providence Plumber 12/8/2010

While I don't enjoy giving up my only day off of the week waiting for a repair person, once Anne, the plumber from Roto Rooter, arrived to repair my drainage problem, she was very professional, informative and courteous. She was very thorough with her explanation of the problem and the solution. My only complaint would be that the Providence office didn't call soon enough to let me know that the plumber was running late therefore I felt like I had wasted half of my day waiting. more
