The cable is crap from the begining! I stopped using these people 2 years ago. I paid my balance and said goodbye! Yesterday in my mail box is a bill from these crooks $131.00 for the month of may2012 for this month! I dont even have an account with them for 2 years! and they want to send me an imaginary billing. I call to get this fixed this morning, and woulda you know I get a call center that just transfers the calls to a voice mail. She nicely said just leave a message yet the voice mail cuts off before you get a chance to say boo! If this is not resolved I will be contacting the BBB of New York. I have a couple of friends up there that needs to investigate this company's business practices! more

Rochdale now has FIOS..Goodbye Private Network Cable 1/18/2012

I now have FIOS and I'm very happy...no more crappy service from PNC. For years, I think PNC were the only contractors around. I'm happy that this has all been changed. I found PNC to be one of the worse small businesses ever ran. It was black owned ad I really wanted to support my own..I really wanted to support a local business but PNC treated their customers horribly. I once had an issue with the owner and the guy tried to tell me that I was just a csr..too bad he did an interview on channel 6 (a channel that they turned on when they felt like) and talked about HOW HE STARTED THE COMPANY!! They're clowns! I hope they go out of business....sooner than later...b/c they ran a sloppy operation. more

Worst Cable Service EVER! 8/12/2011

I have this service because when I signed on, it was the only service available in Rochdale, but it his horrible. Every time the wind blows or it rains, the service goes out. They said that when they converted to digital, this would no longer happen, but they have converted and it still happens! If service goes out on the weekend, you are out of service until Monday morning. \r Their customer service is non-existent. No one admits to being a manager and the owners - hey, who knows who they are! Yhe technicians are always ""out in the field"" and cannot be reached. Really? I've been to the office and heard them talking with technicians, but if you call in, they can't be reached! \r Their old cable boxes cost $40 and we were told we would be reimbursed if they ever converted. Now they're converting, but no one has any record of the original agreements. How convenient! Why would I pay them $25 a box for a new cable box (that they claim will be reimbursed if you terminate services), when they have such poor service! I'm done. I'll just buy a converter from BestBuy and get local channels. The new channels are all music stations in foreign languages anyway - yep, over 50 of them!\r STAY AWAY FROM PRIVATE NETWORK CABLE, and make sure you never accept their combined package, because then you won't have cable, internet or telephone service! more

Poor track record 8/6/2011

I found all of the reviews helpful as I was waiting all day for a technician to come to install the service. I had the same problems as most others. A technician was supposed to come between 1 and 5 pm. I called customer service at 3:50 and again at 4:40. I was assured that he would be here by 5. Of course, no one showed up and repeated calls after that went directly to voice mail. I'm glad I read these reviews and will now cancel my service with Directtv and look for another cable carrier. more

Refuse to credit me for no service and threating me 4/19/2011

I was trying to get my credit for feb because there was no service for a month got very frustrated with the manager because they refuse to credit me what they have on record, i hanged up the phone told them to go f them selfs then i get a prank call from phone number (718)978-0059 with some guy threating me telling me "" he's going to get me "" know we see who's gong to get who now that i got this all on the record. more

Poor Customer Service and Attitude 4/7/2011

I have to add another aggravating experience to the list for Private Network Cable- their installation process of new converters for transition to the digital system is seriously flawed. I made an appointment that required me to take off time from work to meet the technician who was scheduled to appear from 1-5PM. I called into customer service at 3PM and 4:40 PM to find out where my Technician was, and was told they couldnt advise. I asked if there is any feedback, call in from the field, or text message to and from the technician built into the process- and appartently they don't do that. That would be a wise thought in my opinion of what an up to date Company would implement, especially if they are a Technolgy based industry! When the Technician did not show by 5PM, I called to speak with Customer Service and repeatedly (4 calls) got the voicemail system, leaving messages upto their closing time of 6PM. No call back to my voicemails, and in my recent call today, to voice my discontent with Supervisor Ms Cauley, I recieved lots of possible scenarios for a delay of installation and had to request an apology in leui of more excuses. I asked her for consideration of my circumstance (aggravation, delayed tech installation, lack of info and callback from customer service) and suggested compensation to be made to my bill and that was denied! Based from the response, my business is not appreciated and in turn I have no good recommendation for this business. Avoid them and discourage others, because its apparent they are not interested in keeping customers, providing QUALITY service, or problem solving. more

Customer service non existent 2/21/2011

I thought i was the only one that experience their rude behaviour.I think Rochdale Mgmt need to stop using this company. I have to use them because of my directv service. There is no customer service is non-existent. I called a few times as it relates to probblems with my service and nothing was resloved instead I got rudeness. They really need to be reported!!!! As a matter of fact I explained to Directv about their behaviour and they said they would talk to them. However there is no change. I believe until they strat losing customers they will realize they need to change. I am actually in the process of cancelling my service with them, cuz i don't see why i should be paying them for crappy service and rude behaviour!!! more

Avoid at all costs 10/13/2010

This business is a scam, and I am writing Direct TV to tell them not to do business with them anymore. I moved out of my apartment two months ago and they continued to bill me for services that are non-existent. Operator was rude and kept me on hold. Tell Direct TV you don't want to get cable from them if they are affiliated with this ""business"". more

Customer service is non-existent. I've tried calling this awful outfit for 2-weeks and left messages to NO AVAIL. Rochdale mgt should be ashamed of themselves for doing business with this awful, awful outfit. I told Direct tv that they should try to call PNC and see what happens. I also told them I was going to call all the cable companies and report them. I'm also contacting the FCC and the better business to see if they can help here.\r I am going to spend the rest of my days getting someone to take this company out of business. Worst Business Ever 1/5/2010

Where do I begin? I have subscribed to directv and high speed internet with this company for a few years. Every year at least twice a year I'm without service for approximately one month - both cable and internet - at different times.\r \r Each time having to deal with customer service has been absolutely horrible. The rep is totally unqualified for her position. If you've ever called this office, they have several options, but only one person manning the telephones. The person manning the telephones does not pick them up, I have held on for as many as 45 minutes with not one word from the customer service rep. Most of the times during my communications with her when she finally did pick up the telephone, she was rude until I lodged a formal complaint.\r \r 2009 I had no internet service for most of the month of December and I must note that this is the first year that I was able to to have my bill prorated. In the past I was told I had to write a letter requesting this. Now here we are in 2010 and I had internet service one day this year.\r \r The technician - I'd like to say nice things about him, but he's been to my home three times in December....still the problem is unresolved. He was polite though.\r \r I believe they have one customer service rep and one technician. That is ridiculous for the size of Rochdale!! Why Rochdale contracts to only this company is beyond me. I believe if this company had competition within our complex, they'd function much better. \r \r I tried sticking with this company because it is black owned. But., I can't take it anymore - I need my internet service so I'm changing internet providers. I have no choice with the Directv. I guess they'll continue to hold me hostage. The Worse Company Ever 2/6/2009

had to go through this Private Network Cable Co in Jamaica Queens to get DirectV. For the last few weeks I had 3% of connection.I have been calling these people every week because I keep getting searching for satellite on my TV screens. This 2008 Christmas and the day after and also running into Saturday I have no connection at all. The Tech came to my apt. on 12/26/2008 and went on the roof to tell me that it's an outside problem that they have to fix. I am tired of watching Dvd's all day and calling these people. I pay them $15 a month and pay DirectV $121 a month for this terrible connection. Rochdale Village what were you thinking when you decided to have an contract with them? I see why people have their own personal satellite dish on their terrace. Come to find out that someone in the building was going on the roof and illegally stealing service. The last Tech cut the wire and I haven't had a problem since. The manager she won't even come to the phone when I ask about getting credit for not having any service! DirecTV credit me $42 and is giving me $5 off for the next 3 months in which was good.Then the Private Cable Network sent me a bill in January for $13. They only took off $2 after I had 3 weeks lost of connection. I finally contacted the Attorney General Office in Albany because this was terrible. But I still sent a check out to them for $13 and a check to DirecTV for $114. Then when I received my bill for February they had the nerves to act like I didn't send them my $13 check and said that I owe $57. $13 for January, $29.95 a late fee charge and $15 for February. I have been sending my checks to Private Network for over two years and this is the first time that they didn't receive my check? Why because I was calling, sending letters and got the Attoney General involved and my check mysteriously grew legs and got lost somewhere. But DirecTV received $114 but Private Network didn't get $13? What is wrong with this picture?
