When I moved away from southwest Philly, I started using a vet right down the street from me. We were horrified at the way we (the humans) were treated. I own alot of dogs and cats, many are rescues and special needs so it was important to find a practice that could meet my extensive needs, I called to inteview the pratice and was delighted with the answers I got. I am there weekly at times, due to the nature of a full household, and I am always happy with our care, We have been there for prenatal care, births, routine neutering, dermatology, emergency visits and even deaths, and I have never left feeling like there was more that could have been done. The cost is reasonable especially the routine stuff.
They have a digital xray machine that makes life much easier on the dogs, my old vet use to sedate my dogs for xrays, DR Chapman never has.
One of my major issues with my old vet was the God complex thing, with Dr Rebbechi and Dr Chapman I always feel like they give me options and listen to my input when it comes to treatment plans for my dogs and cats. I never feel judged if I decide to go against thier suggestions and never feel minimized if I call with a seemingly minor concern.
I have had several emergency calls for random things and they always take the time to reassure me if its minor and give me clear guidelines as to what definwhen to drop everything and come in, I have never been turned away for an emergency even though the practice is busy.
I am so glad to have found this practice and my dogs are too, not a single one of them freaks out in the parking lot or has to be dragged in they all walk in with thier tails wagging.
Pros: Hours 7 days a week, a variety of Drs, helpul staff,
Cons: I live far away
