Dr. Rebecchi is amazing, but the chance that you will actually get Dr. Rebecchi in the event of a urgent appointment is minimal at best. He is only in the office a couple of days ...

I love the Sunday Hours!! 9/9/2006

It was a Sunday, and my cat swallowed a shoe lace. I normally would have taken him to the University, but the cost was too high, and the wait was too long. I read great reviews on this site and called his office, as I remembered he had weekend hours. I was seen in a timely fashion, and thanks to him, my shoe is no longer missing its lace. Pros: Weekend Hours/ great veterinary service Cons: None more

Best vet in philly 9/1/2006

Larry rebbechi vmd has been my vet for 12 years. He has cared for 3 of my beagle dogs very well over the years. He fixed my female puppy last week and the dog came home from the surgery happy and alert. The stitches were beautiful and the puppy smelled great. Thank you. Keep up the good work Pros: a nice down to earth guy who loves what he does....great staff Cons: someone parked in the handicapped spot who didn't belong there more

Best vet in philly 9/1/2006

Larry rebbechi vmd has been my vet for 12 years. He has cared for 3 of my beagle dogs very well over the years. He fixed my female puppy last week and the dog came home from the surgery happy and alert. The stitches were beautiful and the puppy smelled great. Thank you. a compassionate doctor 8/31/2006

I would like to thank Dr. Rebbecchi publically for helping me through the toughest experience of my life. After 18 years, I had to make the hard decision to put my dog to sleep. I was very apprehensive about my decision but felt it was the best thing for my life-long friend. Dr. Rebbecchi explained the entire procedure and he proceeded with the euthanasia. The entire process was dignified and very professional. He allowed me to hold my friend during the procedure and we were both at peace. So, thank you Dr. Rebbecchi for all you did for us, we will never forget it. Pros: professional compassionate understanding doctor Cons: none more

a dedicated doctor who can solve problems 8/4/2006

I was recently referred to Philadelphia Animal Hospital by one of my neighbors. I have had an ongoing problem with my dog and had taken him to 3 veterinarians for his problem. Not one of the 3 resolved the problem. The only thing they did was to seperate me and my wallet from a lot of money. Dr. Rebbechi was very compassionate and explained to me THOROUGHLY what he thought the problem was and how to fix it. Well, 2 weeks later, Barney is much better and is happy. I was most impressed with how Dr. Rebbechi was very warm and made me feel comfortable in his office. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Phila. area. Pros: personable staff...fair pricing....weekend hours....clean hospital...parking lot Cons: barking dogs in the waiting room more

Great Philadelphia Veterinarian 7/27/2006

I visited the Philadelphia Animal Hospital for the very first time today based on reviews I read on this website. Dr. Rebbecchi lived up to every word I read about him. I have been looking for a good vet since I got my puppy a little over one year ago. Dr. Rebbecchi was very attentive to my pet and thoughtfully answered all of my questions. He explained everything during the visit so I was able to follow along. Additionally, the cost of the entire visit was extremely reasonable compared to what I have paid previously. more

Great Philadelphia Veterinarian 7/27/2006

A vet who cares for the pets he treats 5/8/2006

Dr. Rebbecchi is an excellent vet and has a great personality above all. No problem is too large to be handled by Dr. Rebbecchi. All vets should be like him. I travel over 26 miles to take my dogs to him because I have not found a vet that comes close to his ability. Your pet will be treated with TLC. more

I LOVE Dr. Rebbecchi He is the only one who has ever cared for my animals! I came to him 2 months ago and he thought that is was so great that I brought my animals to him that my first visit was free! He always takes extra care! It was easy to find and is very inexpensive! Pros: Not Expensive, Great Staff, Easy Parking Cons: out of the way, allergic reactions, okay hours more
