Review content:
I arrived on-time for my cat's annual exam, and then waited. And waited. And waited. There was only one other person in the waiting room, and at least half a dozen staff members in the back, telling stories about vacation, talking about what's for lunch, and just kinda hanging out. There was no acknowledgment that I had been waiting for nearly 40 minutes when I was finally called back to the exam room.
The vet tech was friendly and gentle with my cat, but had this alarming habit of leaving the room without telling me where she was going, what she was doing, or when she'd be back. This happened three times during my 15 minute "exam." The second time she was out of the room for several minutes, and I heard her laughing with other staff about some video online they were all watching together. Really? I'm standing (there was no chair) in the (dirty) exam room, holding my increasingly-nervous cat b/c she put my carrier away and left the door open, listening to their conversations. And I'm still waiting....
The vet came in, was friendly and gentle with my cat, but gave me maybe 3 minutes of his time.
As I left the parking lot, I realized I had spent over an hour of my morning at this place, dropped over $75 dollars, and really only experienced about 10-12 minutes of actual service.
Great.
