Essig Service Review 3/19/2018

Recently had a maintenance check up on my air conditioning unit and while the techs were available we asked about our whole house humidifier which they installed a year ago. They cleaned the unit and made a suggestion for a power surge protector for the air unit. These guys are also courteous, clean up after themselves and evaluate your situation to make recommendations to make our home more comfortable. Thank you Essig for another fine service visit. more

Essig Heating Review - Install New Gas Furnace/Ai Conditioner 1/2/2018

Justin Heist and his partner were excellent. Work here in my home for two days and were very polite, courteous, and helpful in explaining to me what they were doing each step of the way. They were very neat and my place was left in the same condition it was in when they arrived. more

I called to have my furnace check because was not working. Was scheduled for Dec.29 but called and came the same day I called. Mike check everything on my finance and air condition. Show me everything and gave me all the options. Thanks a lot Mike W more

Justin Keller was very knowledgeable and carefully explained all options I had in making my decision to purchase a new heating/air conditioning unit. He was kind, considerate, and compassionate in answering many of my questions (I'm 80+ years old and sometimes ask "stupid" questions). I've been a loyal customer to Essig's for many years with my plumbing and have been very satisfied with all their service technicians - and now I'll be using Essig's for all my heat/ air conditioner service as well. Justin Heist Service Call on Nov. 18, 2017 11/18/2017

Justin Heist was excellent! He found the problem why my furnace was not heating almost immediately, temporarily fixed my fan (blower) so I would have heat, and he explained everything he was doing to correct the problem. Justin was very kind, compassionate, and understanding with me (I'm 80+ and sometimes ask stupid questions). He recommended I purchase a new furnace (mine is 16+ years old) rather than spend $1,000.00 plus on a part. I was very happy with the outcome of this service call and will ask for Justin if I need to have another service call for my furnace. John Emerick more

Above and beyond service 10/24/2017

We have been customers of Essig's for at least 15 years and have never experienced anything less then exceptional service. On or around 10/13/17, employee Justin Heist came out to help me investigate a water leak issue that was possibly coming from the Air Conditioning unit. After a thorough investigation, everything checked out fine and was determined that the AC was not causing the issue at hand. Instead of packing up his tools and heading home for the day, Justin stayed with me for another 2 hours so he could assist me in determining what the problem could be. Ultimately we found the source, (basically it was mostly Justin who found it) but if it wasn't for his expertise & perseverance, it to this day would still be considered a mystery. more

Very Professional and Helpful 10/9/2017

We had an issue where our kitchen garbage garbage disposal/sink was backing up. The original plumber Essig sent initially fixed the issue, but it came back 2wks later. Essig sent out another plumber to take care of the issue at no cost to us. The 2nd plumber, Alfie, was outstanding...very professional and did the extra work/diagnosis to ensure the problem was taken care of and would not come back again. I'd recommend Essig and Alfie for any plumbing needs you have! more

This was Justin’s first visit to our home to perform the seasonal check-up on our heat pump. He professionalism impressed us. He was very knowledgeable about our heating system. He informed us about possible improvements to our unit (with which we were already very pleased). We opted to add the surge protectors. He also clearly explained the operation of our thermostat which is helping us to use it more efficiently. Justin Heist is a valuable asset to your team of heating experts. more

After I outlined the problem with water in the laundry room, Ryan M reviewed the situation, and he felt the problem was a clogged drain. He fixed the problem. We also asked about hard water softeners and he explained the options. We selected an electrical device that softened the hard water by "changing the structure of the Ca and Mg in the hard water" and did not have to deal with any chemical water softeners. Ryan M was very professional and kept everything clean during his visit. I was very pleased with Bryan M and would recommend him to other homeowners who need any type of plumbing service. more
