After I outlined the problem with water in the laundry room, Ryan M reviewed the situation, and he felt the problem was a clogged drain. He fixed the problem. We also asked about hard water softeners and he explained the options. We selected an electrical device that softened the hard water by "changing the structure of the Ca and Mg in the hard water" and did not have to deal with any chemical water softeners.
