Technician Fantastic but price of service outrageous! 4/15/2019

Our tech was on time, polite and efficient. Unfortunately our final bill was for $550 for a check up on our water softener and our hot water heater. No parts needed replacing. The tech did install a water filter that we had previously purchased on our own. The installation took no more than 15 minutes. Total time spent in our home was less than 2 hours and as mentioned no new materials were needed. $275 an hour seems ridiculously high. I called the company and left a message with the manager to discuss the bill, but, have not received a call back. more

Essig Plumbing & Heating is by far the best. I've used them several times for both plumbing and HVAC issues. All their Techs are very knowledgeable and, as far as I'm concerned, are experts. Do not hesitate to call Essig Plumbing & Heating, and make sure you request Brain Hess for any HVAC maintenance and repair and Aaron Mull for all your plumbing needs. more

Clogged Sewer Line 1/14/2019

All the sinks, showers, and toilets were backed up due to a clog in the sewer line. I called Essig after their normal business hours and had to use their emergency service to get the sewer line unclogged. Service Pro Aaron Mull from Essig quickly diagnosed where the clog in the line was and had the sewer line unclogged in no time. He also discussed my water issues and emailed me quotes to address them. Essig's emergency service is a little pricey but was worth it to have the job done right the first time. If you ever need any plumbing work done I would highly recommend Essig and ask for Service Pro Aaron Mull. Aaron really knows his stuff. more

My wife & I returned home to a cold house after visiting our son & his family in Vermont. After trying to start our gas furnace without luck I called Essig's for help. As the mechanic's truck pulled up, the furnace kicked in & started sending hot water through the radiators. The mechanic laughed when I explained what occurred. He still checked the furnace & the pipes to make sure everything was functioning. He was courteous, understanding & efficient. Thank you Essig's! more
