The technician's name escapes me at the moment. He arrived within a few minutes of the promised window. He didn't seem to mind that my two dogs were very excited to have a visitor and spent most of the visit barking and running around in the house and the yard while he was working. As this was a routine periodic system check, there were no repairs needed. He was thorough in his examination of the system and everything checked out perfectly. more

I was complaining to a co-worker that I got an outrageous estimate for replacing my old furnace and she recommended One Hour Heating and Air. I called and quickly got a man to come give me an estimate that was perfect. He even saved me money by telling me I did not need to replace my ductwork. Two weeks later, they arrived exactly on time and 3 hours later I had my new furnace. They showed me how to work the new thermostat and how to clean the filters. They left with all trash and the old furnace. Excellent work! more

One Hour came to my rescue promptly, with same day service and accurately predicting the time frame too- even though I was an add-on to the daily schedule. From start to finish (first call to departure of service tech), all went smoothly. The phone rep was very courteous and professional, as was the repair tech. Other firms are lower or even devoid of service call fees, which is why I couldn't recommend them to some of the folks I know (4 stars on the recommend rating), but I focus more on quality service than dollar signs myself. more

It was a pleasure meeting with Mark on August 9, 2010, in a 93 degree house with no working air conditioner, taking measurements and checking the efficiency of the house, before recommending a new delivery syste. The heat pump Mark recommended is very efficient. The installers were very professional and courteous; explaining the different steps they were taking to ensure that everything was in good working order. I have had nothing but an excellent experience with One Hour Heating and Air, starting when they were known as Star Service. They have great policies, for example, when my old heat pump died and it took a few days to get the new equipment in, they lent me as many room window air conditioners as I needed, and they were brand new. I have retained them in an annual service contract and they do a great job in keeping my equipment in top running order. When their technicians come into the house to check on the thermostat and return air temperature delta, they put little booties on their shoes to absolutely ensure the customer's house stays nice and clean. more

Both service men who came to install the unit were very professional. It was refreshing to see them take pride in their work and they explained everything I needed to know. They were both knowledgable and were happy to answer all my questions. I would do business with them again based on that and the Sales Rep. Mark was awesome as well, no pressure and very detailed and took the time to size the unit properly. Mark also informed me of a great deal of savings from the State and the manufacturer of the unit. Prior to calling One Hour, I had contacted three other companies. The service we received from the initial call to One Hour and throughout the entire process was professional and made me feel as if I was their only customer. They took time with me to answer all questions, explain things and point out reference points in our system so that I clearly understood. My husband was there with the installation crew and stated that they were professional, diligent, clean, neat and ON TIME. I came home to air condition and a new unit that looks and feels wonderful. They didn't have to convert my system. I was so pleased that I have already referred people to the company. The price was right, the warranty was on time and the maintenance plan that they offer was well desired. I got it all. They will continue to have our business for all HVAC needs. I wish they did plumbing and other stuff then this would be the only company that I would use. I always tell people, I will pay for great customer service, especially since we all work hard for the money we make. I forgot to mention they offered a variety of financing to meet the customer needs, this is also a plus in my book. more
