I have been very happy with One Hour for years, but there do seem to be changes. The last two maintenance services,I have had to remember to call and schedule. The second time, I asked why and was informed that you no longer make reminders to customers. I asked if customers were informed and the answer was 'no'. That seemed to me to be a way to have someone pay for the contract, but not get the service if they forgot to call - which would me more money for the company at the customer's expense. Also, the last person to service my heating system was unaware of the policy change. The second issue was the installation for Gary Andrejco. He used One Hour on my recommendation and the installation was a totall nightmare for him. Based on his experience, I'll not risk recommending you guys again. We have however reviewed this policy with all employees. Todays Heating & Air Conditioning systems are made with many technological updates, but sometimes adjustments have to be made to the existing ductwork. I do not like to be sold another product on a service call. The pads to eliminate mold and bacterial growth for $40 should be provided for free if they are even necessary in your evaporator drip pan. In owning an ac unit for 30 years, I have never had a problem, nor have I had one of these pads. When I get an "add-on" sales job during a routine visit, I feel like I am going to an auto shop for a routine oil change and given a list of many items that "need" to be replaced. I only get angry at the company and never visit them again. RESPONSE FROM One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning: We appreciate any feedback our customers provide. The time-released drain pan treatments are not required for any system to run properly. They do, however, help to destroy the buildup of growth of fungus, mold, mildew, bacteria and other microorganisms that causes overflows, water leaks, corrosion, damage to personal property and foul-smelling odors within the HVAC equipment. more

I was pleased with the professionalism and knowledge of the technician that responded. When he described a blackish substance in my drainpan (likely mold) he recommended this great little pouch that simply attached to the pan that would control/kill the mold. That little pouch (and I had to trust his judgement) was $52. The service was excellent. The cost of that simple product was far from it. more

Service was not excellent because that would mean perfect but was closer to excellent than above average you should have another category or change excellent to satisfactory possibly recommend is yes or no and my answer is yes again need another key professionalism is the same as service and it is one reason I keep coming back. From start to finish we could not be happier. The sales guy Mike was very helpful and understanding of my situation with the past company and the mistakes they made. He mad a suggestion and processed the change out. When the techs came to install the equipment they were there early and out in no time, all in all a great expierance and would recommend them to everyone. The sales rep explained everything in detail and answered all questions. The technicians showed up on time and installed the unit in one day and it was up and running. Though they experienced some unexpected difficulties, another appt was promptly scheduled to finish up some minor details. I am totaly satisfied with the service and performance of the unit. more
