This Company is a joke! Seems like their techs are salesmen rather than technicians. Also highly over priced these guys will rip you off do not use!!! more

Office staff was friendly, and sympathetic. Easily accomodated a rather rushed appointment. Great tech was knowledgable and friendly. Arrived on time and did a thorough job. Alerted me to areas not yet in need of repair, but that I should keep an eye on. Very pleased with the service and will use in the future. more

Your products are good, your service is excellent, but your written notices are questionable. We have an extended parts and labor warranty our heat pump until 2020, so why did we get a one year renewal notice for $209. You want my email address, so you don't have the expense of paper mailings. You have my email address, otherwise I wouldn't be getting regular emails from you. The renewal notice is dated August 15, 2013 (we received it Sept. 8th) and it says if we respond by July 10, 2013 we get a 25 % savings. Can you explain, please? more

I was very happy with our service. The technician came to our house on a Saturday night - right as I was trying to make dinner without melting because our AC was out. He was very engaged and informative, and offered us tips in case we ran into the same problem again. He mentioned a maintenance contract, but he wasn't pushy about it, which pleased me. Not only that, but the cost was much less than I expected, and our tech didn't seem peeved to talk with my home warranty company about reimbursement. Overall, it was great experience, and I'll definitely recommend this company to others. more

I really appreciated the prompt service by one hour heating and cooling. The techs were very respectful and courteous. They seemed to take a long time, and I appreciated them letting me know some bad news even though they were coming out to do routine maintenance. I will not use them however, because i hate it when they try to sell you on extra services that aren't really necessary after giving you very expensive news, also after getting second opinions, it was clear the tech may not have been as knowledgable as to my options as those from other companies. I appreciated their service, but ended out going with a company that is a little more straight forward and had more and openness as to what my options are. RESPONSE FROM One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning: Dana had some great areas of concern. We believe (as many other Heating and Cooling service providers) that routine maintenance is the key to help maintain and possible extend the life of a system. From experience, when a client calls to schedule a service visit that is not on a routine plan, there are usually problems present that may or may not have been noticed. During Dana's visit we found the heart of the system, the compressor, failing. This part is out of warranty, the repair itself takes several hours to complete and this system operates with an older technology of refrigerant. It is our decision to follow manufacturer specifications. We appreciated the opportunity to help Dana with her heating & cooling needs. more

We needed some help. They made a same day appointment with a reasonable fee. A part they did not carry was ordered, and they are to arrange its installation. He did everything he could to restore things to give us heat until his return. One cannot ask for more. They came very highly recommended to me, and they lived up to it. more

As I was advised, I was notified of theapproximate time that the techinician was to arrive. The check-up on my heat pump was thorough but not rushed. Service technician made recommendations and answered several questions regarding concerns I about my heating & cooling modes on the system. Services were rendered as I anticipated. -very satisfied with money spent. more

The technician came when promised (same day). He was able to fix the furnace the same day that we called. The furnace is still working fine. I will recommend these guys to my friends. more

However - when I scheduled the appointment, I clearly indicated that I had an old oil furnace but according to the tech, you don't service these devices - that would have been important for me to know at the time. more

The tech was on time, did a great job identifying our issue and resolving the problem. Our HVAC started to make a high pitched keening noise, not an emergency but something that needed to be looked at soon. We called One Hour due to recommendations on Angie's List. We were pleased with the visit and will have them perform regular maintenance on our system in the future. more

I've been working with them since 2005 or so. Replaced my whole unit with a quick turnaround and minimal down time. They are always professional and curteous...respond quickly, show up when they say they will and get the job done. It's rare to find such loyalty and committment to customers. I recommend them to everyone! more

I called for service because my heat pump had stopped working. I paid the $99 fee fot the trip out and diagnostics. The problem was a faulty thermostat which was under warranty. The charged me the outrageous sum of $366 to swap it out. The tech spent less than an hour there. I questioned the tech about the price and the office twice and could get no explanation for the charge. The invoice lists "cleaning of IAQ". I don't know what that is and did not request that. There is no mention of the thermostat or the warranty replacement. I will never do business with this company again. While we understand this clients frustration, the thermostat was out of warranty through the manufacturer. Our technician spent almost 4 hours completing his thorough diagnostic and repair. Before any repair is completed, the client can review all options and a price to stated upfront so there are not hidden charges later. more

I wanted to say that everything went well. Out technicuan was very experienced and well mannered. My only fault was after the inspection. He listed items needed for repair and did not call me and ask if I wanted them done. Now, I have to call you back to have them taken care of. I hope I do not have to pay for the service call. more
