I called for service because my heat pump had stopped working. I paid the $99 fee fot the trip out and diagnostics. The problem was a faulty thermostat which was under warranty. The charged me the outrageous sum of $366 to swap it out. The tech spent less than an hour there. I questioned the tech about the price and the office twice and could get no explanation for the charge. The invoice lists "cleaning of IAQ". I don't know what that is and did not request that. There is no mention of the thermostat or the warranty replacement. I will never do business with this company again.
RESPONSE FROM One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning:
We appreciate any feedback our clients can provide. While we understand this clients frustration, the thermostat was out of warranty through the manufacturer. Our technician spent almost 4 hours completing his thorough diagnostic and repair. Before any repair is completed, the client can review all options and a price to stated upfront so there are not hidden charges later.
