So I will start out by saying this shop did have the best prices on the Bridesmaid dresses my friend chose for us to wear in her November wedding, however, I'm not sure the few do...

Unreliable 7/16/2011

I ordered custom colored shoes for a wedding I was in and the staff informed me the shoes would be in in 2 weeks. After 3.5 weeks had passed, I called to inquire on the status of my shoes. On the phone, the lady could not locate my order form and told me only one shoe from the brand of mine had been ordered since I came in. The type of shoe ordered was not the style of my shoe - so therefore the conclusion was that they did not order my shoes. The lady said she was going to 'research' this matter and call me back. I did not get a call back so after 2 hours I decided to go to the store as the wedding was in 2 weeks and I didn't want to be shoeless. more

Terrible experience 7/12/2011

My bridesmaids ordered their dresses here in February and were told that all 3 would be here in April.... not here in April, called again a month later and were told they would be here in another week..... not here.... called in June and were told they would be here any day.... finally got 2 after calling another 2 times and going and picking them up myself. Still waiting on the third and currently they aren't even picking up the phone. We've been fairly patient because the wedding isn't until October, but a person only has so much. This has been the ONLY problem i've had in the entire wedding planning process and I had a bad feeling the day we picked out the dresses. I can only say how glad I am that I DID NOT ORDER MY WEDDING DRESS here (though they did try to give me one with a bridesmaid dress). more

Never Use Once In A Life Tyme Bridal 6/24/2011

This place does not know what customer service is!!! Went there to order a bridesmaid dress for my daughter. Had to wait at least 30 minutes before we received any help. The women kept disappearing. The whole process took over 2 hours when it should have been 30 minutes tops!! Ordered the dress and they said about 6 weeks, 16 weeks later I finally get the dress. I was told every time I called to ask about the dress that they would call me when it came in.. ..Guess what, never called and again I had to call to ask about the dress, and every time I would call they would put me on hold for a very long time. If these people would have a clue they would realize that maybe if we were give good customer service we would come back to get my daughters wedding gown, bride maids dresses, etc. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!!! more

wonderful customer service 6/4/2011

I bought my dress at the bridal show in January. I went to the store to retry the dress I purchased on at their store. I happened to see another gown on one of their displays. I immediately fell in love with it. I had to try it on and of course loved it. I didn't know what to do because I had already bought the first dress and they have a no refund policy. Rebecca called the owners to see if they would let me exchange the two dresses. Thanks to her going the extra mile, they let me exchange and I was able to have my dream dress! I broke down crying! I think people thought I was an unhappy bride, but they were tears of joy. I could only think that I was going to have to figure out some way to afford to buy another wedding dress! Thanks to Rebecca and staff, they really made my dream come true. I can not thank you enough. more

Customer service sucks! Told me some BS about paying a rush for my dress because of the chinese new year. Wandered around the store for at least 5 to 10 mins before I found someone who worked there to help me and could never get someone to tell me what the hell was going on with my dress! more

DON'T GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE STRESSED OUT. MY WEDDING IS IN 2 WEEKS and my friends' dress is STILL NOT IN. We have been calling all morning and getting NO ANSWER so finally she drove over there and there is 4 GIRLS STANDING BEHIND THE COUNTER!!! They are giving her and another girl the RUN AROUND! The employees were and HOUR LATE TODAY AND MISSED THE UPS SHIPMENT. Now they have to go to UPS and pay the COD WHO KNOWS WHEN THAT WILL GET DONE! They LIE about arrival dates, they don't answer the phone or call you back the reviews are all the same. I wish I saw these months ago!! more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never been one to complain about customer service or anything like that since I work in the field and understand the difficulties that come with it. However, I have NEVER experienced customer service this bad. They have a great selection of dresses and I ordered mine months ago. I called 3 months later to check the status and was left on hold for 30min and then was told my dress was not in but it would be in in 3 days. I called back 3 days later and was put on hold for 20min only to be told my dress still was not in but she said she tracked it and it would be in next week. i called the following week and was told that they were too busy to help me so i would have to call back. I called back the follwing day and was put on hold for AN HOUR AND A HALF (no exageration) only to be told that my dress had actually never shipped from the designer and that it was on hold at the location and that they needed to request for it to be taken off hold and it would be here the next week (meaning the woman who told me it had been shipped had lied to me). I called back the next week and NO ONE knows where my dress is and they keep telling me they will need to call me back (which they are not!!!!) I need my dress in 3 weeks and I will still need to get it tailored once it arrives and I still do not know where it is. more

This place is a joke! I don't know how they are still in business. I am only writing this to warn others, do not deal with these incompetent people!!! I ordered my dress and was told that it would be in at the end of Feb. I called to confirm and they said they would check and give me a call back....no call back. I called again in mid Feb, they gave me a new estimated arrival date and said they would call back with an exact date....no call back. I called in March several times, if I was able to get a answer I would be put on hold for up to 20 mins at a time (one time they actually responded surprisingly and dispointed ""you are still on the line""). By now I had read the reviews and my story was exactly the same as every bad review here. They must have caller id because one day I tried to call back several times and they did not answer until I called from a different number. I went to the store, over an hour away, to try get answers. They said the dress has been ready but they did not release it yet, they will release it and it will be here next week and call back for a tracking number....didn't happen! I finally got a voicemail 3 weeks laters saying ""your dress will be in tmrw, could you please come in and pay the balance today."" This really made me laugh! Yes please let me drive an hour today to pay off a dress that was promised to me at least 5 different times and it is not even in the store yet! I talked to Rebecca and said I could schedule a trip to the store in 4 days. Well low and behold I finally was getting calls from the shop, I recieved 6 calls during those 4 days to please come in and pay the balance. I picked it up today....it was in a wrinkled ball under the desk. I could go on and on about how backwards and mismanaged this shop is. more

Awful Customer Service! 4/10/2011

At first glance, all seems fine--good prices-- But you will soon find the worst customer service possible! From the lack of phone etiquette, to the unprofessional dress of staff, to the lack of compassion or caring for the customer to ordering the WRONG dress, to telling the customers about their own problems of not getting along with each other in the store, to being too tired to call people back to being too busy to help anyone on phone so they don't answer it at all...and to telling customers they will call back and don't--over and over again--and placing you on hold for literally 20 minutes when they finally do answer the phone. Ordering the wrong dress is unacceptable. When it finally came in it was still not correct--and a piece was missing---So we then had to wait forever for that to come in . Took many calls and trips to store first though. And when it did come in it looked like an elephant had sat on it. All crumpled and wrinkled...man when you spend $1000 on something you expect it to look better than that... And they must have let some customer try it on because when my daughter had her first fitting--there was a spot on the dress (either when the store person took it out of box or let someone try it on) and the ZIPPER was BROKEN. We had not even had the dress on yet at all and the zipper was broken and there was a spot on it. I did not pay for the zipper or the missing piece as a result of their store problems--order issues. The seamstress is wonderful. She is not a store employee and is contracted to work two days per week here. She is the best and only wonderful thing about this place. Once the final alterations were complete, we took it elsewhere for steaming wrinkles out. They would have done it here but it would not be the seamstress to do it so we opted not to leave it there for that... We were so happy to be done with this place! It was an awful experience I do not wish on anyone. more

BEST EXPERIENCE!!!!! 4/9/2011

thank you so much once in a life tyme employees. they were all very friendly. i was greeted at the door and right away Angel helped me find my dress. she even helped me pick out my braidsmaids dresses (which i got a great deal on- 15% off). they answered all my questions and were all very helpfull. i will deffinitly send other brides to once in a life tyme. they have it all. tuxes and all. thank you so much once in a life tyme staff!!!! you made my day perfect. more

Terrible Customer Service! 4/8/2011

This store has a completely incompetent staff including the manager Rebecca. I took notes of all of my dealings with them specifically so that I could write this review. I called 12 times in March and April of 2011 and was always put on hold for over 10 minutes. I left messages for Rebecca or Anna (who sold me my dress) to call me back since everyone I got on the phone (usually Cherish) was unable to tell me where my dress was, when it would be shipped, when it would arrive, or how to put a rush (which I said I would pay for) on the dress. No one ever called me back. Three times I was given information (that my dress was shipped when a week later they said that it had not shipped etc.) that turned out to be false. They are no better in person, but rude, unapologetic, and almost unbelievably incompetent. more

Best Bridesmaid Prices 4/5/2011

I didn't get my wedding gown from here so I can't comment on that but I did get my bridesmaid dresses from here and all went well. I had six girls in my bridal party and some lived out of state. We were able to order exactly what I wanted and the prices were the best I had found. All dresses came in together and on time. more

NO PROBLEMS 4/5/2011

I just picked up my wedding gown this past Sunday and I am totally happy with it. I have to admit that I was feeling stressed and worried after reading some of the reviews. But I'm happy to say that I'm thrilled with my dress and didn't have any problems with the store. Based on my experience, I would tell other brides to check it out. more

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! 3/31/2011

DO NOT GO HERE...NO MATTER WHAT!!! They have the worst customer service. I ordered my dress from this company at a bridal expo, then when the date came for my dress to be in the store, I called, got the run around, called again and still no one had any idea where my dress was. 25 DAYS LATER...I got my dress after showing up at the store and demanding a refund. Instead of giving me a refund they called the cops. Finally my sister went to the store and picked up my dress that had magically appeared all of a sudden. Moral of the Story....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, IF YOU AREN'T BRIDZILLA THEY WILL TURN YOU INTO ONE! more

Please please please do not give this store your business--their salespeople are inept at best, and their managers are uncaring and condescending. You would think that in today's economy, customer service would be of the utmost importance for retail stores...obviously not with this place...they probably figure that people will always be getting married, so who cares if we lose a customer or two. If you are planning on using them, make sure you order your dress and anything else at least a year in advance, or expect to get a call saying that you have to pay the rush order fee because they are incapable of delivering on time. more

I wish I would have spent the extra money and gone elsewhere, as they caused me immense stress during my planning process. I ordered my dress, after getting a total EARFUL from Nancee about how she was so enraged after reading so many poor reviews about the store, and especially about her. I felt bad, however, felt it a little inappropriate for her to be venting so much about it to a new customer. I ordered the dress a FULL YEAR before my wedding. I was promised that my dress would come in the beginning of December, but was given some line about how it may be late due to Chinese New Year, huh?? My arrival date comes and goes and I do not hear from the store. I assumed they would update me given the dress being tardy, however, I had to pursue the issue. I calmly and nicely called two weeks after my due date for the dress and got the same song and dance that other ladies on this review website said. They would call the designer and call me back...no call. They could never give me a full story about the whereabouts of my dress. Finally, in FEBRUARY I was told that it was en route to AZ...however, was stuck in customs and would take another week to get processed through. Huh? I let it slide. I called a week later since I hadn't heard from them & was told it was on the next shipment expected to arrive. It wasn't on the shipment. I called back and they said the same thing. I had to call back the next day and they flat out said ""it's not here, I don't know where it is."" They said they would call me back. They didn't. I called back two days later and I was told that my dress was ""lost."" LOST! I went into panic mode. Finally it was ""found"" and arrived almost 3 months after the promised date. Good thing I ordered early. My dress came in and looked like it was rolled up in a ball and an elephant sat on it. It looked like hell. The MOH dress was a total DISASTER. We ordered it, knowing alterations would need to be made...and was assured by Rebecca that the alterations would be successful. We would not have ordered the dress if the alterations would not have worked. The dress comes in and we are quoted over 300 dollars in alterations that they said might not work. Huh??? My sister went ahead and got some alterations started hoping that thing would work out. She called me crying ONE WEEK before my wedding while she was at the store. I rushed to the store. I was then told by Nancee that Rebecca claimed we insisted on ordering an inappropriate size (we ordered what she measured) against her will and that we were at fault. I then countered that we ordered what SHE measured and what SHE told us would work. Then Nancee starts blaming the poor seamstress. Then Nancee started lecturing me like I was one of her kids. They then insisted that another seamstress could do the job...even though they just told me it was impossible. This seamstress would cost over 200 dollars. After getting way too much attitude, I confronted another sales woman about how I did not appreciate how my sister and I were being treated. After more debate Nancee looked straight at me and said ""maybe you should just give up on this dress and go to the mall."" TO THE MALL???? My wedding was in ONE WEEK. She gave my a fabric swatch with sass as my sister and I left with tears in our eyes headed to the mall. Later my sister worked out a deal to switch her dress with a sample dress from the rack. It didn't fit her, was worn/used, missing its brooch, and wasn't clean but was given as the alternative. It was a TOTAL slap in the face. AVOID this store. ANY and ALL brides and their friends deserve so much better than this store. more

Best BLACK FRIDAY SALE EVER! 11/30/2010

I bought my gown on black friday! I am so glad I went there before I went to the mall!. My gown was on sale and I saved $200.00!!! This not only paid for my viel, tiarra and some of my alterations! My bridesmaids will get a discount too. I am actually going to be buying two wedding dresses! I am haveing a rehersal dinner and a thank you brunch. I am going to buy a short wedding gown and wear it for these events. I am so excited!!!! more

I had an appointment with Rebecca at this store and she was awesome. Matter of fact all of the employees that helped me were really great. I would recommend this store to anyone. more
