Highly Recommended 4/25/2007

Had a problem with my home computer router. Called NY Computer Help and got someone live right away, was given the option to schedule a same day or next day appointment, and was given a very fair rate quote. They called to let me know when the repair person was running a couple of minutes late. Once he showed up (only 15 minutes after the scheduled time) he was non-intrusive, respectful, and fixed our problem in under an hour. He even showed us how to avoid similar problems in the future! This company is flexible, reliable and enjoyable to do business with. Two thumbs up! Pros: same day, next day appointments - take credit cards - showed up on time - added value Cons: none really more

Notable IT support for my small office 3/25/2007

I needed for a my small office to be have faster Internet service and networking between my computers. Also, I needed a reliable backup. NYCH came out to assess and implement a solution that has allowed my office to run smoothly ever since. Thanks guys! more

Fast and great customer service! 2/14/2007

My laptop wouldn't connect to the Internet wirelessly too well. In certain areas of my apartment, the signal would not be good enough and sometimes I couldn't get on the Internet at all. NYCH came to my place an hour after calling and set me up with the right equipment to keep me on the Internet for good and in all areas of my crib...even my bathroom! Pros: Fast, knowledgeable, definitely worth it more

I brought my dead computer to New York Computer Help's West Side location. Really, I expected my desktop to be pronounced dead and just wanted a second opinion. I was able to get a free diagnostic that determined that my power part...a jack I think it's called.. needed to be replaced. So, the part was replaced and my baby came back to life. What I really liked was that I called after my service was over and paid for to ask a couple of unrelated questions of how to back up my computer and they were patient and willing to help without additional charge. New York Computer Help is a reputable, honest, and professional computer service that I will always use for my office. We've been struggling with finding a good tech company, but haven't been able to since we've had continual email issues, virus appearances, spyware and popups problems, and painstaking frusterations with the INternet being up and down. Best techs in NYC 11/30/2006

A very refreshing tech company. Dropped off my computer in the morning for a virus removal. Basically, my computer wouldn't connect to the Internet and was really, really, really sloooow. I received a free diagnostic within 1 hour later and then was able to pick up my baby hours later during the same day! The computer is running like new. Fast service, very reasonable charge and very nice folks. Very happy and hence that is why I'm writing a review...which I never do! Pros: Fast, cheap, nice staff more
