Best tech support! 6/13/2006

Had 5 computers that couldn't connect to the web. The New York Computer Help tech came, replaced a bad router, and even fixed some startup problem i had one one mac. Very professional and helpful. Just thought I'd share since it's hard finding a good tech guy. I'm sticking with these guys! Pros: intelligent, helpful, friendly more

Had 5 computers that couldn't connect to the web. The New York Computer Help tech came, replaced a bad router, and even fixed some startup problem i had one one mac. Very professional and helpful. Timely and friendly service, however they spent 2 1/2 hours trying to work on a problem that they had no idea how to fix and they should have known they could not fix. We spent the first hour and a half trying things I had already done multiple times. In the end, my problem was not fixed, I was billed $250, and now I get the blue screen of death every day which never happened prior to their visit. The tech guy did not know much more than me. He spent the next hour looking the problem up on Google, to no avail. more

Computer help you can trust in! 5/31/2006

I brought my dead computer in to these guys. I got a free diagnostic the same day deeming the motherboard fried and then was told it is better not to further invest in my laptop due to its old age and high part cost, and that I would be better off with a new computer. I didn't expect that! It is refreshing to get a truthful analyis. I was then consulted on good computers to buy. All free with the diagnostic evaluation! Pros: trusting, brilliant, fast more

Just writing a quick recommendation for the New York Computer Help co. Our server was not working whatsoever, called NYCH, and in a couple of hours our server and company was up and running without a hitch. They even provided future recommendations on how to eliminate downtime and backup data. Thanks guys! Pros: smart, affordable, quick more

Spilled water and was sure my laptop was unusable 2/11/2006

My laptop wouldn't power on after a foolishly spilled a bottle of water on top of the keyboard. No power, no lights, absolutely no life! I dropped off my baby with New York Computer Help, they quickly provided me a free diagnostic, and then proceeded to replace the motherboard and save my files. I really thought my computer was post mortem and am still in disbelief that I am currently typing on it now! Pros: qualified, professional, great service more

My son's precious baby photos were recovered!!! 10/22/2005

Of course, my most precious pictures of my baby son just happened to be on my external hard drive that stopped working. US1 Data recovered my pics in the same day and the price was very reasonable. I checked out some companies before and they did not hold a candle to US1 Data's very reasonable price, service, and quick assistance. Thanks a million!!
