In Love 4/23/2011

It's a love story between my car and those mechanics at Lucas Auto Care! Well more the fact that I took my car to get fixed and it runs beautifully. She only comes to Lucas for any service that she needs, because I think she'd be mad if I tried taking her anywhere else. No Matter who my Service Manager is I still feel the same level of confidence and care taken into my vehicle. I've been a customer for two years now and still going! more

Impressed! 4/23/2011

I went to Lucas on April 11th. I do not think I have ever been happier with the professionalism or quality of an auto repair facility before. I've been a dealer only person for so long, but after visiting Lucas Auto Care, the Dealer's won't be seeing me again. Gary, the gentleman who was assisting me kept me up to date, and actually called ME instead of having to call every day trying to force someone to talk to me. more

Top notch Service! 4/21/2011

I took my BMW here and right off the bat, the customer service was great. Craig was very helpful and assured me he would fix the problem. Less than 5 hours later, my m5 was diagnosed and fixed. Not only was the customer service great, but the ethical practices were awesome. Craig did not try and give me anything unneccesary and when payment time came, there were no hidden charges. This shop is one of the best I have been to and they will be my number one choice for the future. Thanks. more

Great Service Great People 4/6/2011

I pulled into Cypress with an engine that had overheated and it turned out that I needed a new radiator. This was the only pace open in town, and It turned out to be the best mechanic I had ever been to. He got me back on the road within three hours and explained to me all that he had done and took me out back to show it to me as well. Fair price and I wish they lived by me so I could take it in for all my auto needs. more

Family owned place. Friendly owner and staff. Saved me lots of money over the dealerships. I had both do estimates and the difference is staggering. Great explanations of the issues and attention to detail. Glad I found them. more

Lucas Auto Care really impressed me today. I'd have to say the quality of service & reliability they have shown me today really showed. I had several problems on my 06 Honda & had my car back friday morning after dropping it off on wednesday. I didn't have any problems with my car & it drove so much better. more

97 Volvo not starting 12/31/2010

97 Volvo not starting Lucas Auto Care had the chance to tell us the starter was bad, the distributor was bad...etc...but instead, they found a battery cable loose and informed us of that -- a wonderful show of honesty when most shops would choose a more 'lucrative' solution -- THANKS!! Volvo Experts! 11/5/2010

Lucas Car Care fixed my Volvo and it runs like a dream. It came in with some major problems and it came out like a brand new little car. I am in love with my S80 Volvo and I am so excited that they took such good care of me. They work really well on Volvo's even the loaner car that I drove was a beautifully kept Volvo! I won't take my car anywhere else. more

Incredible! 10/27/2010

Lucas Auto Care worked on my car when other shops were afraid to. They pulled the motor and transmission and completely rebuilt both now it runs better than ever. Also did some brake work on my wife's car with their on-car brake lathe and now it stops smoothly without squeaking. We're always treated well and my wife actually doesn't mind going there like she does other car shops. Thanks guys! more

Couldn't ask for anything better 9/14/2010

I had a wonderful experience with Lucas Auto Care. I brought my 2003 BMW X3 in for some brake pads and rotors. They gave me a ride home, and picked me up right when it was done! Best part is... they completed the job on the same day.\r Best repair shop in Cypress. more

My Dad is a major Lucas Auto Care fan, and when I got my first car, I took it here too. They treated me with respected and they never once let my age become a factor. They treat me like every other customer and make sure that my car is fixed right! They made sure my car was ready for college and I can't thank them enough for helping me out. more

Unbelievable Service 8/27/2010

I can't believe I haven't been taking my car here since I purchased it. The fire stone where I live told me they had fixed an oil leak. Well, I still had oil leaking out of my car! My wife's friend had suggested Lucas Auto Care to us and I decided it was time to test it out. I walked in, they took off the oil pan, showed me the crack in my oil pan, and fixed it right then and there. They don't mess around, got my car fixed fast, and made me feel like a valued customer. \r I recommend all my friends to Lucas Auto Care more

Front end Repair?? 6/2/2010

I took my BMW here to get the front-end repainted and to have some interior work done (my dash needed to be recovered). Lucas repainted my front-end flawlessly for a reasonable price and even sanded/buffed out the dullness on my headlights for free! The headlight treatment saved me about $800 vs. buying new headlamps, so that alone is worth the five star rating. Overall, for value and quality...and most importantly for a body shop...trustworthiness... more

this is the place to trust to take care of your luxury European / high end exotic / Italian sports car. Tyger is the owner and runs a super clean shop. He can pretty much fix em all. This shop also does accessories and upgrades. so if you want to get a set of rims or make your lambo even faster, this is the place to come. ask for Tyger!!! more

One of the best 5/20/2010

I've been fortunate to find several good mechanics in Houston over the years, but these guys are better than good--they're great. What makes them great is not only their service, but their ability to communicate to you what they're doing to your car and the costs involved in each step along the way. Not everyone wants to know the source of the sound their car is making, they just want it fixed. And that's fine. If you're like me you like to know exactly why something happened--how you can prevent it from happening again and the difference between a routine repair and a driver induced repair. Their prices are fair--you can find cheaper in different parts of the city, but they are definitely not overpriced. They are definitely NOT ripping you off.? more

Very Reliable 5/19/2010

I love this place for my repairs, bought a battery in Dec 09 a little bit more expensive than say auto zone but i had the original brand batt. reinstalled. The difference was only a few bucks, which isnt a big deal because I really trust this place and they had me in and out in no time. I also had to get my rear brakes done in Jan. 2010, so of course i had them done here, fast and reliable service.? more

Couldn't ask for more 5/18/2010

Lucas Auto is awesome. Allow me to elaborate... I heard of Lucas from my roommate, who took her car there for some kind of engine repair. Something unexpected happened while working on her car, which caused 3 more days of unexpected labor. They charged her the original quoted price even after all that extra labor. AND did a good job, shes never had a problem with that since. I took my little 325 in there to get a window replaced - they got it done in 2 hours! I was even able to come after closing, almost an hour after closing, to pick up my car that same day. Oh, and to top it off? The guys that work there are nice! and informed! And not once did I feel like i was gonna get screwed over b/c i, admittedly, do not know anything about cars or car accessories. The price is right, the work is great - what more can you ask for?? more

A repair shop like none other! Besides the fast and friendly service, the owner Tyger is has probably every possible certification available in regards to auto repair. He's a true expert. The waiting room has the feel of friendlyness. The amenities aside he will get you back on the road regardless what type of problem you had more
