If your car is your baby, then Lucas Auto Care will be your best nanny. For a few years I've been heading to my Houston dealership to change oil for my car. Every time it was a hassle, waiting for hours in the middle of no where. Yet as far as it was, Lucas Auto Care was one block from where I lived. You could drop off your car in the morning before work and pick it up afterwards. Since then I've fixed/maintained my car numerous times here and this place has become my go-to place- if my tire pressure light was on, they would check it immediately, if my engine has weird sounds, it gets all the attention it needs. They have great mechanics and quality service, but most importantly, you don't often come by an honest, down-to-earth manager like Tyger, who always brings the best deal to suit your needs. more

Lucas Car Care really went above and beyond my expectations. Not only are their service technicians the best around (and may I add all ASE certified) but they have beyond belief customer service. They are also very efficient with their communication and their customers time. Absolutely my number one choice for all my automotive needs. more

Los Angeles, our last residence, had very few trustworthy, capable, and knowledgeable car repair shops. When we finally found one, we were delighted! We felt comfortable leaving our cars there for repair, regular maintenance, and general advice regarding our vehicles. Then the unbearable happened-- the owner sold out to a new fellow. The new owner acted like he knew exactly what we needed, but, alas, his ""repairs"" never corrected a problem we were having with our truck. They not only diagnosed the problem correctly, but also CORRECTED it at a very reasonable rate. We have since brought our cars to Lucas Auto Care for all our maintenance, repairs and questions about our vehicles. They have been consistently fair, honest, and reliable. A huge benefit for me personally, is that they don't talk down to me as if I don't know anything. They guarantee their work and have reviewed and unforeseen problems I may have incurred with courtesy, patience and kind effort. These guys are definitely the best car care shop in town! My college student daughter rear ended a mini cooper one day on her way to an internship. Her Ford Focus was pretty torn up on the left front. They place that towed the car estimated the repairs using the most expensive parts they could price out, and I'm sure they'd then replace them with after market parts and pocket the difference. I looked up various repair shops on the Internet, and decided that Lucas Auto Care's glowing reviews made them worth taking a chance. They didn't let me down. They were able to save me almost $1,000 over the rip off artist body shop that originally towed the car. YOU OWE IT TO YOUR CAR. The quality is great, and the price with be considerably lower I'll bet. I can recommend them highly. more

I found Tyger on Google when I moved to Houston in 2009. My car needed repairs. After reading a few reviews saying he's honest and doesn't fix anything if not necessary, I decided to give it a try. And OH BOY did I do the right choice! I've been going there ever since, and quite a few times (old car!). Tyger is very honest. I've been in the past to places where they give you this long list of things that NEED to be fixed. Tyger never does anything like that: He listens to you, checks your car, tells you what he thinks, gives you options. I recommend him to all my friends. You should try it. more

I had my BMW serviced here on friday, and I haven't been happier with the way I've been treated at an auto repair place before in my life. I wasn't another number in line like I feel like when I bring it to the dealership I bought the vehicle from. Our offices had just relocated to this area and I was looking for a car repair place because one of my power windows stopped working (probably due to the rough roads in the area). I went to Lucas Auto Care I was expecting a lot more (because I was using similar work my wife had done through a dealership), but the final price was almost half of what the dealer would have charged. Service was great and quick (I only had to wait a day because they had to order the part I brought the car in for them in the morning and had it back by 12 noon as promised, and WASHED more

I'm from Houston, where you know someone who knows someone who can fix your car.... This is how I found Lucas Auto Care. My Vehicle had a bad alignment done at a shop near my home, and I decided to give Lucas a try. The Alignment done here was brilliant! I was so happy with how the vehicle drove. The wait time wasn't awful at all, and My Wife got her car serviced with an oil change at the same time. So happy with the alignment on the vehicle. I just received a return call on how my service was and that just went up and beyond my customer service expectations more

This place was great! I have had some traumatic car repair experiences but this was not one of them. All I ask for is mechanics who treat me like a person and take good care of my car. I just got my oil changed by Craig; he was down to earth, friendly, and totally honest about the state of my ride. I was in and out in 40 minutes without feeling like I was a number. I am confident that my car got a thorough look over. And they are open on Saturdays!! I will be back. more

So my first car Tyger helped me buy almost a year ago has given me no problems but a few weeks ago starting making a clanging noise. Tyger to the rescue again - diagnosed a belt thing-a-ma-jiggy that goes through the entire system. He fixed it with as minimal cost to me as possible and knowing that I am looking to sell it - guaranteed the part for a year to my buyer when normally a service guarantee wouldn't be transferable!!! He even picked me up from my house and drove me to the shop to get my car when ready. No noise and runs like a champ again. I'm going to miss my lil Corolla but I am ready for my convertible! My only regret - leasing a new car because then I'll have no excuse to see Tyger :-( more
